Bonjour!

Welcome to the Vast Empire Navy, Crewman Rayne.

I am Ensign Bacredi, Naval Training Officer for the Vast Empire Navy, I will be helping you here today.

You have just completed Imperial Initiation by posting your welcome message here, the Vast Empire Navy congratulates and welcomes you for that. Now, the next step in your training is to start FlightSchool and post your character biography. This biography will (and should) be a rough outline of your characters history.

In your biography, you will need to list the following (just copy and paste):

Code: Select all
= Physical Appearance =
Homeworld:
Age:
Species:
Native Language:
Gender:
Skin Color:
Height:
Weight:
Hair Color:
Facial Hair:
Eye Color:
Scars:
Tattoos:

== Character’s Background ==
(Give me 1-2 solid paragraphs with information on your character’s past. Using a large amount of detail isn’t necessary, but if you feel like you want to, go ahead.)

== Personality ==
(Just write about what your character’s personality is. Make him/her interesting!)

Our method of writing here in the Vast Empire Navy (and the Vast Empire) is to write in third person. Please do so. If you have any questions, feel free to ComNet PM myself for guidance. Good day!

= Physical Appearance =
Homeworld: Kashyyyk
Age: 18
Species: Human
Native Language: Basic
Gender: Female
Skin Color: Pale
Height: 5'3"
Weight: 119
Hair Color: A light pink
Facial Hair: NONE
Eye Color: A very deep amber
Scars: None
Tattoos: Tribal designs on her shoulders going back to her shoulder blades, then turning into wings on her back.

== Character’s Background ==
This gal was born and raised on Kashyyyk. Surounded by Wookies, but cared for by her human parents. How they came to be upon this primal planet was quite simple: her parents had grown up knowing a Wookie in a smuggling group, they ended up becoming best friends with the Wookie, and went to live on their friends home planet with him once their smuggling days were over.

Once Kaida was born, her parents had great trust in their Wookie friend for her care. The Wookie would take Kaida on rides in his small freighter and show her different asteroid belts, and take her on short adventures. From a young age, these adventures gave Kaida the love of flying she’s had ever since.

Four tender years into her life, her father ended up getting back into the smuggling business, leaving her mother and the Wookie friend to care for Kaida. Even at this tender age, the Wookie began to teach Kaida the fighting style of the Woookies. Not long into her training, Kaida picked up the basics, thus two years later, the Wookie began to teach her how to use the different close combat weapons, such as the Ryyk Kerarthorr blades.

Three more years passed ore years passed, and Kaida was now at the age of nine. Again, even this young, Kaida was showing great promise in the fighting ways of the Wookie, they even nicknamed her Ryyk, after the blades that she had almost perfected in using.
Kaida, now known as Ryyk to her family and friends, continued training, but in her free time her Uncle Wook-Wook as she began to call her Wookie caretaker, would take her on more and more adventures in his small freighter. Eventually, Ryyk became so engrossed with the idea of piloting, that Wook-Wook began to take her out on lessons.

Within three and a half years later, Ryyk was less than an expert, but better than most at piloting the freighter that she had learned so much in. Wook-Wook and her mother didn’t exactly like how much she was engrossed in flying though, and began to restrict her access to the ships that she was able to fly. Angered at the fact that she was getting restrictions on something she loved, Ryyk began to show signs of deviance against her mother and Wook-Wook. This made Wook-Wook realize his fear.

She was going to leave Kashyyyk as soon as she was old enough and join the empire.

That’s exactly what she did. Ryyk trained for five years more, and left Kashyyyk in order to fufill her love of flying and being a pilot. She signed up for the NAVY and sent her mother and Wook-Wook her love, despite still being rather angry with them.

Kaida ‘Ryyk’ Burkan was now at the mercy of the Naval Academy.

== Personality ==
Brutal, tough, blunt. This side of Ryyk always gets her into trouble. Usually, she can’t go three sentences without getting into some sort of trouble. The gal has a strong tendency to speak her mind in very straight forward ways. She isn’t scared to put her view point out here. Oh, and critique isn’t something she takes kindly. Fighting is something that comes naturally to this girl as well. Always getting into tiffs over stuff that most people would think pointless. The fact is, Ryyk has a sense of pride that she just can’t seem to let go. Despite how much trouble it gets her into.

Mentally unstable, quiet, shy. This is almost the complete opposite of her normal self. Due to the brutal training that she went through, she has the tendency to snap at some points, and lose control of her anger and strength. Of course in this state of mind (or rather lack thereof) her endurance is greatly decreased, meaning that once she gets control of herself back, she is quiet and on the verge of passing out. This other side of herself can also make her stay out of most conflicts and keep to herself.

These two different sides of herself have even adopted names. The brutal tough, blunt side goes by Ryyk. And the unstable, quiet and shy side goes by her given name of Kaida.

My Chapter II, Sir!

The Immelman

This maneuver isn’t considered defensive, or offensive. It is more a maneuver to use if you need to quickly change direction. It is also an easy way to get away from a slower enemy. If an enemy is chasing you (or if you just wish to gain altitude and change direction as well) just pitch the nose of you ship upwards and climb to the desired height. Once there, roll however much it would take to get in the direction that you wish to go. Again, this is neither defensive, nor offensive. Used mainly for gaining altitude and changing your direction in an efficient and safe way

The Scissors

This is a maneuver that allows an attacker to make sure that he does not overshoot a defending target. If it becomes clear that the attacker is going to over shoot, a series of reversals should be taken, pitching the nose to barrel rolling every time the defender comes out of a turn. But if the bandit is faster, time the reversals earlier in order to ensure that the attacker can get behind the defending bandit and take offensive action. Of course this maneuver can sometimes end in a stalemate. This happens when the defender is clear on what the attacker is trying to do, and counters the Scissors with another Scissors maneuver of his own. This stale mate can be broken by another simple barrel roll, to bleed speed and make sure you once again are behind the defending bandit. This move can be slightly dangerous though; it is easy to be taken over by the defending bandit if he makes an aerial flip and comes up behind you. So take caution with many things while using this certain maneuver.

Offensive Split

Performed with a wingman, this offensive move is sneaky and almost always successful. One of the two of you will fly straight at the bandits, making sure that you are seen, and that their attention is on you. Then, advise your wingman, once the bandits’ attention is on you, that it is okay to pull off the other half of this Split attack. Your wingman will then swing around, either at a low or high altitude, hopefully unseen by the bandits. While you still have the bandits’ attention, your wingman will take another turn, still hopefully unseen, and come up or lower himself behind the bandits into a good firing position.
