Physical Description:
Kirin spends most of his time on freighters which means that he has a rough exterior. His skin is pale and leathery from being in and out of the cargo holds of freighters. He is 5’11” tall, has a scruffy brown hair which is usually kept under a hat of some sort. He has a stocky build, muscular, but not well defined. He has pale blue eyes, which when are caught in the right light appear to be gray. He is generally wearing worn work clothes with boots and a pair of gloves hanging out of his back pocket. Because of the conditions that he works in, he has a general dirty appearance.
Emotional Description:
Kirin is a very charming individual despite what kind of people he deals with on a day to day basis. There are some people who say that he would make a good trader, but he has never been interested in that. Kirin is a hard worker, he puts his work above all else. He is dedicated to his work to the point that he has never started a family (Not that he hasn’t had plenty of offers). Because of his upbringing, he has learned to be very cautious of the people around him. He is a very good judge of character and is quick to judge someone on a first meeting.
History:
Kirin is not actually sure where he was born or who his parents are. He has been moved around from one freighter to another. Everything he knows is been from working on freighters. He has always wondered about his parents and where he is actually from. There have been rumors that his parents worked on the original Death Star as officers in the Imperial Navy before it was destroyed. He has always wanted to be a pilot and be in an Elite TIE Fighter squadron, maybe even work on a Star Destroyer. He has had a few chances to learn some limited piloting skills on some of the freighters he worked on. He joined up with the Imperial Navy to hone these skills and do his part for the Empire.

The Break Turn maneuver is very effective especially for a light craft like a TIE fighter. Because TIE fighters don’t have the bulk of a rebel starfighter, like a X-Wing or Y-Wing, they need to be able to out maneuver an attacker. Using the break turn, you can get away from the pursuer quickly and get your bearings. Also, if you are keeping the attacker busy, it gives a chance for you wingman to maneuver behind them and take them out.

The Lag Pursuit is a maneuver that a vessel like the TIE Fighter needs to watch out for. An example of a starfighter that would use this maneuver against a TIE fighter would be an A-Wing. Being one of the fastest fighters in the Rebel fleet, the A-Wing pilots are generally very skilled in this maneuver. Because the A-Wing is most likely going to overtake the TIE fighter because of its speed, and the TIE fighter using maneuvers like the break turn, the A-Wing will get underneath the TIE Fighter and stay at a distance to maintain pursuit and continue to attack.
