It would be an useful feature to have it so that in your profile you can check a box for autosubscribing to a topic when you make a post on it and are not currently subscribed to it.

Also, automatically subscribing to any post made within a comnet would be useful (especially for moderators of those comnets).  Basically if a brand-spanking-new topic is posted to the Commander's Comnet, and I have selected that comnet as a place for auto subscriptions, I would get it the topic listed in my subscriptions as soon as it was posted, despite never having seen the topic yet.

Edit: The second suggestion would work amazingly well with helping the Academy staffs.
