Sounds from outside were beginning to rouse her from her much needed nap. Behind her eyelids, those light sea-foam eyes were flickering here and there, her mind racing, trying to put together puzzle pieces that wouldn’t normally fit together if they were outside of the ‘dream world’. Tossing and turning, Jaenna tried as hard as she could to try and drown out the outside world for even just another hour. That’s all she needed: another hour of sleep, and she would be fine to continue her Com Tech studying.
   
But no.
   
Of course not. The outside world wasn’t going to allow her to take her nap, or at least finish it. Poor Jaenna could never find the quiet enough time that she could take a full fledged nap in the late afternoon. Even though she was sure that she'd be able to her in her apartment. her luxury apartment. Never, did Jaenna get sleep. What with her constant studying, and feeling like she was back in standard school because of it, and her racing thoughts and sudden spells of depression due to the mystery of her past...

Pfft. Mystery. There really wasn't any mystery to her past. No important mystery really. But it bothered her how this whole thing was only beginning touch her mind and heart so much, three years after it happened. Maybe... it was because she was finally away from the world where it all had happened? Was it because she had finally gotten completely used to her cybernetic arm? Who knew... But it was starting to bother her a lot.

Which why, finally, the noises outside and those racing thoughts drove the young Trooper's eyes to shoot open. With a sigh, she sat up in her bed, the covers falling off of her scantily clad body, strands of her auburn tresses covering her face here and there, and sticking out in every which direction in other places.

"Hmmf. Great. Now for more studying." Oh yeah... she has a tendency to think out loud, a lot. But oh well. Sometimes that was a good thing.
