Physical Description:
Uris Hogan is a Mon Calimari male, falling in at about 5 foot 6, purple skin color, very little hair and with the normal ability (for a Mon Cal) to breath underwater and in several atmospheres many humans wouldn’t dream of entering.
At the age of six (as the earth time goes) Uris was put into a space cadet program, specializing in making a typical Mon Cal into a physical war machine of endurance and strength. He has many, muscles that hide under his skin, seemingly waiting for the opportunity to cause some embarrassment. However while causing some embarrassment when being forced to explain his hidden friends, his muscles have many advantages. Advantages (when combined with his many battle scars) such as looking like a harmless and beaten Mon Cal, to be taken pity on. As mentioned previously, Uris Hogan has earned many scars and blights of battle, that while easily scaring off and intimidating the weak of heart, strikes pity in the brave and an understanding.
Unalike many Mon Cals, Uris has drooping eyelids and orange eyes, a quirk of nature that often makes people underestimate the speed and precision of this Mon Calimari pilot.
Trained aboard a converted cruise liner, this Mon Cal isn’t to be crossed regularly…
Emotional ‘profile’:
Uris is a calm and controlled Mon Cal that rarely loses his temper. On the occasions he does however, he gets out of control, for he is blessed (and cursed) with the blood wrath. He loses sight of injury and fights his opponent to the death, no matter what it takes. He was once known to fight a fellow Mon Cal with a lance protruding in his armor and no weapon, a feat that though amazing, landed him a 400 Dac day sentence in prison. The conditions in the jail were horrible, and made him embrace society. Now when receiving an insult he will attempt to smoothly slide by it and make no offence, for he realized that while he was of esteem anything was better than another prison sentence. You are probably able to get a better reaction when insulting something from a pile of dung, than this Mon Cal. However, this does not mean he doesn’t like a good pazaak game and some strong brewed ale. He is a friendly to any race and holds few biases.
History:
Uris Hogan was born on Dac, coming from a family of proud Mon Cals, a traitor coming from behind the rebel lines. He had learned of the apparent riches of the Vast Empire and had come to earn his share. He abandoned his spouse and came to the vast empire, favoring Fame and Fortune over Peace and Low Merit. When he was 6 he was forced into a training camp as cannon fodder for the rebels. By the age of 18 he had served 2 years of duty in the rebel army, but hadn’t seen helmet nor blaster of any imperial troops. Such boredom made him quit, as soon as he met his 3 year requirement. Settling down would mean more boredom so he decided to become a mercenary for hire, loyal until released once bought. This job, though making him many credits also earned him many battle scars. Reminders of the deeds he has committed. At the age of 29 he settled down with the credits he had earned for working with various clients. ‘A quiet life might not be so bad after all’, he told himself. But his self reassurances proved too delicate, and he decided to join the Imperial Navy. Not being a patriotic Mon Cal, this proved an easy switch, and with his current assured pay roll, he was beginning to feel a sense of loyalty himself
