Well as the title suggests, I'm forced to slip back out the same day I came back from my last leave. I have a very good friend who's mother had to have brain surgery recently, while she was recovering from the surgery, she had a massive stroke. Because of the stroke, and some other stuff going on, the doctors made the call that there was nothing more they could do for her at this point, and they took her off of life support around noon today. I was informed about 3 hours ago that her mother became one with the Force. I have had a relationship with this girl off and on for about 2 years, so I am hurting very badly at this point in time, and I don't think I can handle the grief, my job, and being active duty in the VE at this point in time. I'm sorry to announce that I will be entering the reserves, I may or may not be around, it depends on how I'm feeling. I am hoping to be back around the time I start back at School, but I can not make any promises. This applies to both Slasher and BARman, as they are both my characters.

Best of luck to you slasher. Nothing is the same after death, but somehow one must move on or we surrender ourselves to the awful fate of being ruled by our grief. At any rate...good luck with your situation and hopefully you'll come back to us someday. |

I'm so sorry man, I know what you're going through. Just two weeks ago a good friend's dad, who I was also very close to, was taken from us. So I completely understand. Come back when you feel you can, but not a moment before.

Ok, Good News, kinda,
My friend who lost her mother has had so many people coming to help her that she has stopped answering her phone, and is letting only her closest circle of friends be involved in what is going on. I am not directly involved with helping her right now, and having had very little contact with her mother, and without having to support her, that situation is out of my hands. As such I am switching out of reserves back into Active Duty Status, but will be on Semi-leave until the 20th of this month, as I am working long weeks, and have to get ready for school. However once the semester starts I should be back full-force.
