Hi... Allow me to introduce myself, I am Bacredi, I will be your trainer whilst you are here at the academy. We will be helping you through Basic Training, commonly called Flight School, FS, BT, or the Academy. Flight School is composed into three chapters, Chapter One: Character Development, Chapter Two: Pilot Procedure, Chapter Three: The Squadron, and last but not least, the Aviator's Exam. Once you have finished and been passed on these Chapters we will place you into one of the active squadrons. Lets start with the basics - Chapter One. You need to make a biography for your character (Good examples are Jegora Fal's and Ibram Tyrol's Biographies.) Once you have finished your biography you may post it on this topic. But remember - your biography is only a rough sketch of your character and should be expanded when given the time. If you have any questions, catch any member of the staff around IRC or send them a PM (Personal Message). Now, if you have any questions, or if you want to meet any of our other members you can hop onto IRC (Internet Relay Chat), or you may send any member of the staff a PM (Personal Message). There are many other communications methods for reaching the staff in that page as well. Once you have finished Basic Training, you shall be placed into one of the active squadrons. Catch you around sometime, Crewman.

Name: Hakk Koth
Age: 24
Gender: Male
Species: Zabrak
Home Planet: Iridonia
Physical Description:
Hakk is 1.8 meters tall with an average, toned frame. He has a yellow skin tone with yellow eyes. Hakk has red facial tattoos that recount his family’s heritage.
Emotional Description:
Hakk has a cocky demeanor, because he is very self-confident. He is normally friendly and can be found in a cantina on his down time having a drink. In spite of being cocky, he is very respectful to his commanding officers. He takes a lot of pride in his accomplishments. Many see him as single-minded because when set his mind to a task he will complete it no matter what.
History:
Hakk grew up on the unforgiving planet of Iridonia. He came from a family of pilots that were very loyal to the Empire. Hakk’s father was very strict, but allowed his children to make their own mistakes. His father taught his children, being good is not good enough you have to be the best. Hakk developed a love of flying at an early age when he stole an X-wing that belonged to a rebel pilot. He crashed it and broke both of his arms and right leg, but for the 93 seconds he was in the air he loved it. Hakk decided that he would become a pilot that day. He was the youngest of three brothers. His oldest brother died in a rebel explosion on a small space station where he had been stationed. His other brother was killed in the battle of the 2nd Deathstar. He became a smuggler escort 3 years ago and left Iridonia. He has traveled to several planets guarding spice transports and scouting new routes. He learned to hold his own in aerial firefights with local government pilots. Hakk seems as if though he is able to anticipate the moves of his opponents. After escaping from a small planet on the outer rim and shooting down 4 pilots, he was approached by an Imperial Navy officer and decided to join the Imperial Navy.

The Sandwich:
The Sandwich maneuver is executed by a pair of fighters against an enemy fighter. The maneuver is used when one fighter is being attacked from the rear by an enemy fighter. The first fighter will then break from the attack. If he is pursued by the enemy fighter, the second fighter will then falls in behind the enemy for a rear shot. The second fighter must not use heat missiles during this maneuver, until the first fighter has moved out of the danger zone.
Low Speed Yo-Yo Strait Pursuit
This maneuver is used to end a stalemate between two fighters. The pursuing fighter will begin a shallow dive. This allows him/her to pick up speed and close the range on the other fighter. When the pursuing fighter has closed the gap he/she will then pull up for an attack when a 30 degree off angle has been reached. The pursuing fighter may need to perform the maneuver several times before closing the gap for the attack. The pursuer must be sure to pull-up at the correct angle or the pursuer could end up in a fly-through situation or with the enemy barrel downing on him/her.
In order to counteract this maneuver the other pilot has two options. Option 1 is to mimic the move of the pursuing fighter, causing the stalemate to continue. The 2nd option is to wait until the pursuing fighter begins his/her attack, the other pilot then reduces his turn, raises his nose, and then makes a rolling decent into the attacker.

Passed, onto III. When you finish I will most likely be asleep, so you could probably work on your AE.
Good work.
