Aerial flip:

The aerial flip is a manoeuvre that is only an option whilst atmospheric combat is underway, using a ship with flight-grade repulsors. This manoeuvre allows a pilot in a compromising position to turn and line up a shot on a pursuer. The aircraft/spacecraft would stall its engines for a second, allowing a smaller, tighter turn radius for a very short period of time, using the lack of acceleration involved to the advantage of the pilot. The whole manoeuvre depends on a very small amount of g’s therefore, it may often require the pilot to slow down before the flip.

High speed yo-yo.

The High speed yo-yo is a manoeuvre that increases the distance a pilot and his target, so he can line up a better shot on this target. The manoeuvre is used during a turning fight, when the pilot is in an aggressive position, behind his target, but cannot line a shot upon the target. Once again, gravity provides an answer. The pilot pulls sharply upwards, and as the target turns, the pilot rotates, and descends until the target is in a 45 degree frontal cone. If this manoeuvre is done too high, the target could outmanoeuvre the pilot, so the finished position should be built up over a couple of yo-yos.

Activity: During this week, i entered into the navy of the vast empire's academy, and completed phases I and II of the training, i also introduced myself on the ComNet.

Upcoming plans: I intend to write an account of my training once i complete the final phase. i will write this acount in my wiki page, so as to make a story for all to see if and when i retire.
