New 360 Game help

So, today, after these people finish removing my braces, I will be travelling out to the mall and will most likely be buying a new 360 game. With one problem; which to get?

I have my fill of sports games with Madden 09, though NCAA Football 09 is a want; but can wait till Xmas. I love RPG's, so naturally Fallout 3 or Fable 2 spring to mind since I already have Mass Effect & Oblivion.

I also enjoy war games, RB6V2 or CoD4 entice me.

All in all, what I'm looking for is a game that is worth my money WITHOUT counting it's online play. I want something that will strive in longevity, and will have me interested for weeks on end.

Fallout 3 is being strongly considered, but let me know what you guys think. It's for an Xbox 360, and don't count a games offline feats.

Fable 2 = 10-11 hours of gameplay (not counting side quests). A great game, no doubt, but hardly worth shelling out 65 dollars. You're better off renting this one and passing it over the course of a few days.

COD4: I can't really say enough about this game, and it's impossible to give a fair review without mentioning just how flawless and addicting the multi player online experience is. This is a must have for the 360.

Fallout 3 received a 9.0, but I'm also hearing that the game is so-so.

I took the guy @ the stores word and went with Fallout 3. I did research and I think I'm pleased. We'll see tonight.
