SM_KO_CHM_Cosmic That's all from the Army side. Chief Warrant Officer Tyrol has the Navy report for this week.
CWO_Tyrol Greetings Everyone
CWO_Tyrol As all of you know, the Navy Holiday Squadron Competition finished yesterday, at around 6pm Central Standard Time
CWO_Tyrol or whatever timezone Denethor is in
CWO_Tyrol I've just been informed that it's Eastern
CWO_Tyrol Anyway...
CWO_Tyrol It was a supurb competition, great effort on a lot of people's part
CWO_Tyrol The final scores were:
CWO_Tyrol Nazgul in first place with 4065 points
CWO_Tyrol Viper not far behind in second place with 3850 points
CWO_Tyrol and Kaph coming in a very close third place with 3715 points
CWO_Tyrol But to be honest, everyone who took part is a winner, because everyone gave 110%
CWO_Tyrol I'm proud of not only my squadron, but of the whole navy. The amount fo recruits we brought in, the amount of activity that was shown... good times
CWO_Tyrol Nazgul will be recieving the title of the Captains Own, as well has having their equipment upgraded to TIE Hunters
CWO_Tyrol sorry, TIE Advanceds
CWO_Tyrol They will now be able to fly these formibable craft in all of their official squadron stories from this date
CWO_Tyrol As a bonus, each member of Nazgul will also recieve 10,000 credits into their bank account
CWO_Tyrol As you may have heard, there was also going to be a prize for the pilot who was clearly the best out of the entire competition
CWO_Tyrol I'm pleased to announce that Petty Officer 2nd class Sovern, Kaph Squadron, has one that award
CWO_Tyrol He will be awarded the title of Imperial Gaurdian, and will recieve a bonus of 50,000 IC's
CWO_Tyrol Overall, he scored the most points in the competition, recruiting 11 people, as well as putting up a good effort on the posting front for his squadron
CWO_Tyrol Just goes to show that having your squadron win a competition doesn't always mean everything
CWO_Tyrol Other pilots of note in the competition included: Blue Leader, Slasher, Ferran, Stix
CWO_Tyrol who all did exceedingly well posting wise
CWO_Tyrol Tomas also deserves a special mention, as he dominated the gaming part of the competition, almost to the point where people refused to play him
CWO_Tyrol As a consolation prize to the squadrons in second and third place, they will have their equipment upgraded aswell - to TIE Intecptors

CWO_Tyrol I'm sure we will all look forward to playing with our new toys
CWO_Tyrol Unfortunatly, since Denethor is not here today, I cannot formerly award anyone with any medals or promotions at this time
CWO_Tyrol but I can confirm that everyone who took part in the competition will probably be getting a reward one way or another
CWO_Tyrol I also take great delight in announcing that Petty Officer Sicario, and Petty Officer Mira O'Riley, will be getting lumps of coal for their non-efforts in this competition

CWO_Tyrol As Denethor was promoted to the Naval Executive Officer a while back, he's been finding it difficult to maintain both that role, and his other role as Wing Commander
CWO_Tyrol As such, and I'm sure he will make this more formal when he get's online, Stormz is to become the Wing Executive Commander, with the eventual aim of taking over as Wing Commander
CWO_Tyrol Please congratulate him when you can
CWO_Tyrol Also, I myself have been apointed Adjunctant to Denethor (in his Naval XO role) and will be helping him with the administrative side of running the Navy
CWO_Tyrol You may bow down to me and pay me homage at your earliest convieniance
CWO_Tyrol Also, as my first (un)official act, would everyone who took part in the Navy HSC please PM me over the Comment their feedback of the competition, tell me what did and didn't work
Denethor should be making an official announcement regarding who's been promoted and who's recieving what medal sometime this week. The awards that have already been announced, such as the new equipment etc... are I believe effective immediatly - enjoy.
