*Greetings Vast Empire Stormtrooper Corps.*

I hope this to be the first of many Prefect Reports to keep you updated on the happenings (and future happenings) of the Army. Those who have been in the VE long enough, or those who have poked around in the old ComNet V1 archives, may recognize these types of topics. To my knowledge, they were originally created by former Prefect of the Army, High General Crysus. I think it's important that the Prefect interact and communicate with the soldiers under his or her command, so I will definitely give this concept a shot and see where it takes us.


*Reminders*

Be sure to check your ComNet and e-mail inboxes for Major General Rizzit's message. In short: I would like to have a Command Staff meeting with the following individuals: Squad Leaders, Platoon Commanders, Company Commander(s), and Army High Command (AHC) staff. Some of the topics will include: position responsibilities, Army hierarchy/structure, and stories. More will be included onto that list as the week progresses.

I am hoping to get everyone together after the Weekly Meeting next weekend (right after the meeting). If you are unable to attend, you will be sent a log of the conversation. I would love to see a great turnout, so here's hoping that you're all there! (Including myself. :P)


*Upcoming Activities*

As I mentioned in the meeting yesterday, the Stormtrooper Corps will be having another Holiday Squad Competition (HSC). This will actually be starting within the next week or two, so be sure to check ComNet often for further details and updates.

I will be making some Command Staff amendments in the next few weeks. Some changes will occur sooner than others, but all changes to the Command Staff will be complete by the end of this month.


*Promotions & Awards*

And now the good news.

- Private First Class Nick is hereby elevated to Lance Corporal for his excellent work and activity as a trooper. His activity has been stellar since his arrival, he is a recipient of the Letter of Recommendation, and has already published five Specialty stories. Congratulations, and keep up the great work, Nick!

- The following three troopers have been recommended by their Squad Leader, Gunnery Sergeant Tanus Solvona, to receive the Emperor's Will 1st Class for their service and activity in keeping the squad alive while he was absent:

• Senior Sergeant Garryll Gates
  
• Senior Sergeant Orobos
  
• Lance Corporal TX-47

Awarded to members who have shown dedication, loyalty, and outstanding activity in his/her platoon. This award has two classes; 1st Class, 2nd Class. The first is higher than the second. It may be awarded by Platoon Commanders and above.
