Nick woke up after having a nice and decent night. He could tell he would have a boring a boring day, seeing as their was nothing to do. He did not have any heavy weapons training today and he thought he would just stay in and relax. Relaxing was something Nick hardly ever did. He spent most his time training, exercising, or doing some work with the Corps.  Nick scratched his idea of staying home and decided to do some training and workouts. He got up and looked around the room. In the small room to the right, was his armor and weaponry. Nick had a large collection of armaments, and was quite proud of it.

Inside the room to the right, was a Holonet. He used It so he could keep contact with friends and with the outside world when he was at home. It was also one of his main sources for instruction on missions and meetings. He didn’t have either of those to do today, so he steered himself clear of that room.

He decided that he should go to the Imperial training facility so he could do some target practice. It was his favorite hobbies, next to planning out ways to raid bases and ambush enemies for fun.

That was when he heard a noise coming from one of his rooms. A message was coming through. He had hoped it was another mission, or some sort of action he would be able to go to. He went towards his Comm and activated it. A voice came through the audio-receptors. It was huttese, but with a mechanical twist to it.

‘’Greetings.. I can not state any information onto why I am calling you at the moment, all I can say is meet us near your closest cantina. We will explain everything shortly.’’

The transmission ended, just like that. Nick had no idea what was going on.

He hoped he wasn’t the only one who had got this.

Nick was still curious who had contacted him earlier. He wasn’t sure if it was some sort of trap. Or someone was in great need of danger. All he knew was that he had to go see what the problem was. And if it really was some sort of false alarm, chances are he would blame everyone in the cantina. Nick prepared himself to go out. He didn’t know how long he would take, so he had a light snack and equipped himself  with his 210 personal armor, as well as his DT-57 Annihilator pistol. He didn’t want to look too armed and dangerous. If he was wearing commando armor, or the kind of stormtrooper armor his squad wore, he would probably look like someone who wanted to cause trouble.

He was still heavily armed, no doubt. But he wasn’t ‘armed enough’ to attract too much attention. He looked more like a simple bounty hunter, ready to search and destroy. Whoever it was who had requested an audience with him, Nick was sure it wouldn’t be their last encounter. Nick had feuded with various people, spanning up to months of rivalry. He couldn’t get too sure though. He had other things to worry about.

Nick left his quarters and went out into the streets. He began his long walk towards the cantina. Luckily, he didn’t even look close to being in danger, seeing as he had been able to walk without someone trying to shoot him. He came closer and closer to the cantina, being more suspicious as he walked.

OOC:

Past tense. Antos.

The trandoshans stood in the corner, snickering to themselves. They turned to Antos and Nick as they spoke. Quite clearly, they were talking about them. Nick and Antos had no idea what was going on, and remained quiet to avoid any problems. They waited patiently until the trandoshans were ready to speak. Hopefully they would start speaking soon.
One of the trandoshans walked towards them, giving out a slight laugh. He finally introduced himself in huttese.

‘’Greetings, humans. We have been watching you for quite some time now. Our names are not important, but we know your names already. You see, we had some friends with quite a few connections to dozens of underworld criminal leaders.’’

‘’Crimelords.’’ Nick said. He had dealt with these ‘’criminal leaders’’ before.

‘’..Yes.. Crimelords. They have not quite forgiven you for your past encounters with them. But, that is not quite what we are here for. My associate and I would like to recruit you into our little industry.’’

Antos finally spoke up, he had been listening patiently. ‘’What kind of industry? The kind that slaughters people just for the sake of it?’’

Both trandoshans didn’t seem to enjoy what he had just said. However, they simply ignored it and continued.

‘’No no no no. Of course not. In our company, we specialize in importing and exporting goods and weaponry. Stealing from the rich and giving to the poor. You humans may not understand our good quality, but you will see soon enough.’’

‘’So basically, you are smugglers. What if we refuse?’’ Antos said.

‘’You catch on quickly human. If you refuse, then we shall break you, bit by bit.’’

Nick and Antos turned to eachother. They found that pretty amusing.

OOC:

Nick watched the organized squads of trandoshans march through the street. Innocent civilians fled from the area. They wanted nothing to do with these trandoshan mercenaries, and they were smart to keep their distance. Nick and Antos slowly crept away from the crates and moved into the nearest alley.


They hid behind the corner, hearing the trandoshans footsteps as they followed. Nick pulled out his Annihilator pistol, jumped out of hiding and started shooting at them. His personal armor granted him better strength, so he was able to run better in terms of leg energy. He shot down three trandoshans, sending them into the ground. Nick then went behind for cover as Antos rolled out with his vibroblade. Nick covered Xon as he charged towards the trandoshans.  Nick shot four more while Antos cut through the remaining. They were not sure who to attack, Nick or Antos.

As Nick shot through the last one, they could see more mercenaries coming towards them. Unlike the dead trandoshans, the mercenaries wore light armor. Nick knew that neither one of them would be a match for them.

‘’Antos, lets go!’’

Then they fled.

Nick and Antos struggled to break out of captivity. Nicks armor granted a large increase in strength, but it still came to no effect. The mercenaries became annoyed with their resistance. They  and stun cuffed them and knocked them out cold.

In a flash, Nick woke up in a cell. He looked desperately for Antos. His only guess was that he was in a different cell in a different area.

‘’Antos!’’ Nick yelled out.

There was no hope in calling for him. Antos was nowhere to be found. Nick was also stripped of his pistol, but not his armor. They made a mistake in doing that. Nick simply grabbed onto the metallic bars and yanked them off. Nick stealthily walked out of the cell, undetected by any of the guards. He still needed to find his weapons though. This ship was somewhat similar to one he had beein in before. However, he wasn’t a prisoner that time.

Nick went down the long aisles of cells. There were people in a few of them, but they regarded Nick as another guard. In order to keep being undetected, he ignored them and continued moving on. Hopefully, he would find Antos Xon soon.

Then he heard footsteps and voices coming from behind him. Guards were coming. Nick quickly ran out of the cell area, looking for Antos and some weapons. He hoped he would find a blaster soon. It seemed impossible to come by in this cell. By the appearance of his surroundings, Nick had a feeling he was on a ship.

Nick continued to move down into the corridors. Fortunately, there was so sign of anyone. He didn’t have any weapons and he was extremely vulnerable. His first objective was to find some sort of storage room, and hopefully find Antos. He wasn’t too worried about being alone and unarmed in what appeared to be some sort of ship. All he had to do was make sure he didn’t get shot in the back. Otherwise, he would be fine.

‘’Do you think this deal is going to be any good?’’ Nick heard a voice coming from around the corner. He leaned against the wall, ready to ambush.

‘’We just need to wait and see. The hutts are not that patient, or forgiving.’’ Another voice said.

Nick listened carefully to their voices and footsteps, trying to figure out how close they were before they went past the corner. Nick knew he would have a problem with this. He was unarmed and going against two people who had a high chance of possessing blasters. Then, Nick remembered the armor he had with him. He knew he couldn’t rely on it completely, it still had some disadvantages.

Nick quickly jumped out of the corner, ready to charge at them.

‘’Prisoner has escaped!’’ Said one of the mercenaries, right before getting tackled down. Nick grabbed his blaster pistol and shot at him and then the other man.

That wasn’t too difficult. Nick thought, looking at the blaster.

Nick went back to looking for some weapons and Antos. Then, he heard blaster fire coming up ahead. Nick couldn’t see who was causing it, but he was sure that there was multiple people on multiple sides.

Nick then saw what all the noise was. It was some mercenaries fighting against a small group of mercenaries. Nick was confused onto what was happening.

Nick watched as the mercenaries were fighting eachother. He had figured there was some sort of dispute between them. It was perfect chance for him to make a move. But he was unable to. He had lost all of his weapons and he was alone. That was what he thought when he saw a majority of the mercenaries fall to the floor, dead.

‘’Now that they are taken care of, lets move in.’’ Said one of the opposing mercenaries.

Without thinking, Nick jumped out from hiding, grabbed one of the pistols on the floor and began firing away. The two mercenaries didn’t know what was coming. They hit the floor, completely lifeless.

‘’And another one bites the dust.’’ Nick said. It was easier than he had expected.

Now he was armed. He scavenged the blaster rifles from the dead bodies on the ground. Strapping them to his armor, he moved on. He then heard blaster fire again, this time coming from across the hall. He saw Antos hiding behind some crates,  watching yet another squad facing off. Nick crept behind the crates as well.

‘’Hi.’’ Nick said.

Antos jumped at the sight of his friend. He thought it was another soldier coming to blow up infront of him.

‘’What is the deal with them?’’ Nick said, pointing at the feuding soldiers.

Antos shrugged. ‘’Some sort of takeover.’’

‘’I like takeovers. Lets join the fun.’’ Nick said, rolling towards the soldiers.

‘’Are you mad!?’’ Exclaimed Antos, trying to restrain Nick.

Nick turned towards Antos, who was held at gunpoint by one of the mercenaries. He knew a situation like this would have happened sooner or later, but he never planned a solution.

‘’Drop your weapons,  humans.’’ The chiss mercenary had said.

Like all chiss, this mercenary was blue skinned with red eyes. The eyes were intimidating even to Nick, who began to get on his knees and drop his weapons.

The chiss mercenary watched as he held Antos in his grasp. Nick aimed his blaster at the mercenaries legs as he lowered. It was a smart move, now he had a clear shot of him without harming Antos.

Nick pulled the trigger and the mercenaries grip on Antos began to weaken. He then fell to the floor along with all the other dead mercenaries.

Antos let out a sigh of relief. ‘’Thank you.’’

‘’You owe me.’’ Nick warned.

The two walked by the dead bodies which filled the floor. It was like a battlefield, and they were the army.

‘’Whats next?’’ Nick wondered.

Antos examined the hallways. ‘’Shall we go look for some help ?’’

The two stormed off towards the Cells.

Nick shifted the teddy bear off of him. He hated the unusual actions children could do. Nonetheless, he was glad that this was over and he could finally continue the rest of the day. He planned to get himself free of this armor. He was sweating and wanted to go home and relax. After that, Nick wanted to stop by the cantina and get a few drinks.

‘’Well, this was..fun.’’ Nick said, getting back to his feet.

‘’Lets hope that’s the last we see of those guys again.’’ Antos said.

Nick nodded. But he had a strong feeling that their group of smugglers and mercenaries would continue to track them down. There was no denying it. Nick had a good understanding of the word ‘revenge’, and the merc’s had that on their mind.

Nick saw people beginning to gather around the wreckage.

‘’Time to go.’’ Nick warned at the sight of the people.

Nick quickly ran across the street followed by Antos. If they were there for too long, people might have blamed them for the crash. Technically, it was Nicks fault in a way. But he had no other choice. Nick hoped that no one innocent had perished during the crash.

The duo quickly walked through the dirty alleyways. They heard people talking behind them, knowing that a large crowd would form over there. Nick didn’t have much of a passion for extremely large crowds. He felt too vunerable, and preferred ‘laying low’ rather than making a scene.

‘’Now, we should be safe.’’ Antos assured. 

Nick thought so too. Now, they could move on with the rest of their lives. The two of them both had quite a thrill while on that ship. It seemed larger than it actually appeared. Nick was a bit nervous during the mission, but he eventually relaxed. Then, it seemed pretty easy until the ship begin to plunge into the city streets. It was quite a shock that Nick and Antos survived. If they had lived, then there were chances that the remaining mercenaries and prisoners had survived as well.


''Time to get some Corellian whiskeys.'' Nick laughed.
