When Zippy woke up that morning it was a brand new day. He got up, got dresed, ate breakfest and gathered his armor and E-11 blaster rifle. Zippy kept thinking," Why is it that all the other trainee's get to do virtual training while I get the boring stuff?" He knew that guarding the troop traing facility was an important job, but he wanted some action. Three hours later he was sitting on the ground for a break when he heard something. It sounded so bizzare that he stood right up and looked around."It sounded like a horn," zippy said to himself. Then out of the corner of his eye he caught soemthing coming towards him. It was an arrow. Zippy immediatly ducked and ran to the comlink." We're under attack!"

Zeshaun awoke to the sound of sirens and a cry for reinforcements. Zeshaun quickly put on his newly shined shock trooper armor and holstered his three blasters and his two rifles. Zeshaun ran out of his sleeping quarters and found himself alone. right, I applied for a few days off, I'm the only one not working. Zeshaun thought.

He saw a bunch of blaster bolts coming out of a bunker near him. He quickly ran into the bunker entrance and sneaked through the building until he got to the place where the shots were coming from.

"FREEZE!" Zeshaun shouted as he pointed his rifle at the back of someone's head.

Zeshaun noticed the head was wearing a stormtrooper helmet and he lowered his gun. "thoguht you might like some help.

"Thank god! I thought no one would help me." Zippy said.

Zeshaun switched his rifle to the sniper mode and starting looking around. Where did these little creatures come from? Zeshaun thought as he mowed down creature after creature.

"God damn! These things are every were."

Then the weirdest thing happened. As soon as Deritos and Zeshaun had come to help him, they vanished. Zippy was so puzzled it wasn't even funny. He then put back the E-web blaster turret and headed back inside. He quickly headed to the med room to fix himself up. He had taken one hit to the wrist while fighting off those creatures.

"God, I hope that I can just sit back and relax for a while, but knowing my luck that probably won't ever happen."

As Zippy walked down the hall back to his room he noticed that his com-link was going off.

"What now, Zippy said annoyed."

"Hey Zippy. It's Antos. I just wanted to know if you wanted to come down to the shooting range for a while. Some of the other guys and I are having a little competition and we wanted to know if you wanted to come down and participate."

"I'll be right down.'

Zippy headed down to the shooting range and took a seat. Antos was just finishing up his round.

"7/10 targets, alright then. Hey Zippy how are you doing?

"Pretty good. So when do I start my round?"

"Right after everyone else does theirs."

Zippy watched as everyone else did their turns. They were all doing really good. He knew though that they only were doing so good because of the fact that they had been down here a while.

"Oh please! I could kill you in this shooting competition." Zippy said.

"Well is that a bet? I bet you some ale that I can beat you."

"Your on."

Zippy was up first. 3,2,1 Begin! Zippy started shooting targets left and right. As he started shooting they just wized all around.  He kept blasting them and they just kept coming.

"Are you getting frustrated yet?" Deritos said mockingly.

"No.

Once it was over, the score was 17/20.

"Beat that"

Deritos then did his turn and his final score was 17/20.

"Why don't we just call it a tie."

"Agreed."

Once they were done, they all headed back to the mess hall for something to eat.

"Private Zippy and Deritos. You are needed immediatly for a base defense job in the main part of the city. There are some civilians down there who are getting really hyper and there are also some strange characters running about."

"We'll be there."

Of course, Deritos had to say something. Even though they had just got back from a base defense job, it was still exciting to be back in the field.

"My wish finally came true. We've got some more action. Lets hurry up and get down there."

"Let me grab my armor and stuff first Deriots."

The two headed down to the transport and left for the base. As they landed, all they could see was smoke and by the looks of it, there was a battle there.

"This is Delta squad 8, is anyone out there!" some one yelled.

"Hang on soldier, we're on our way.
