“Thank you…you may all be seated…We gather here today...to witness the execution...errr...trial of our dear friend Epic... Epic vs. the Vast Empire. Sergeant Epic, you have been brought up on charges of breaking the Vast Empire’s Code of Conduct and ethics, on counts of 1,943,760 acts of article 3. 582,710 acts of article 5. 5,428 acts of article 6. 56,340,162 acts of article 9. 43,970 acts of article 10. Lost count of how many acts of article 11 and 13. 992, 178 acts of article 14, and only god knows how many acts 16…how do you plead?” Asked Anakin…
“Suck it,” Epic said in response.
“Ok for the record that was ‘suck…it’. We then move to the prosecution. To represent the Vast Empire, Brigadier General Talon and Ensign Japheth. Epic has chosen represent himself. Talon…Japheth, you may present your case…”

Brigadier General Talon stood from his chair after a quick glance at his notes. He cleared his throat once and began a well practiced speech. Talon used the Force to amplify his voice to make it clear what he was saying to everyone in the room, but even though the room had a stone floor and walls, there was no echo. "Sergeant Epic, these charges are quiet serious. It has been some time since someone has been accused of something such as this. You make no defense for yourself, but you still say you were not wrong. Now, I have a question, but you must remember that you are under oath to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. Now.. Boxers or briefs?" Talon asked, leaning on the short wall that boxed in the witness stand.
"Umm.. depends." Epic stammered.
Talon shoved himself backwards, off of the wall and faced the jury. "Well, if that doesn't tell you something, I don't know what does." Turning back to the defendant, he asked, "Would you mind putting on these leather gloves?"
Speechless, Epic grabbed the hardened gloves and tried to force his fists into them. There seemed to be dried blood on them. Trying to ignore it, Epic fought to put on the gloves, with no avail.
Talon snatched the gloves back and tossed them onto the evidence table. Turning back to the jury once more, Talon commented, "It would appear that the Sergeant isn't willing to cooperate. It would also appear that he has something to hide. I'm going to turn this over to Ensign Japheth." -----------------------

Japheth stood, shuffled some papers, all of which were blank, put them down and walked over to the witness stand. He took his time; he looked around the room, nodded at the jury.
Finally, he reached the stand, he arched backwards, stretching and then looked at Epic.
"Why are you guys doing this?" Epic asked, sounding bored.
Japheth squinted a bit, "Why don't you tell me?"
"Cut the crap, Heth!" Epic yelled, "Gimme the truth!"
"YOU CAN'T HANDLE THE TRUTH!" Japheth bellowed.
"Your right.... I can't..." was the only reply.
Japheth turned to the General, "I've nothing further, your honor," he said, and made his way back to his seat.

Anakin looked at the prosecution table. "Closing arguments?"
Talon rose from his chair and walked strait for the defendant, who was back on the stand. He leaned forward on the short wall again, forcing Epic to sit as far back in his chair as possible, almost tipping it backwards. Talon poked a finger just inches from Epic's face and quietly said, "Pull my finger."
Epic tipped farther back in his chair. He lost balance and it hit with a thud on the back wall.
As if nothing happened, Talon straitened up. "Ladies and gentlem.. err, Threeof4... of the jury... Yeah. We are here today because... Umm.. One sec. It'll come to me. Oh yeah! Wait.. Nevermind. Well, we all know Epic's guilty. Just look at him. He looks like a monkey on speed. If I had it my way, he'd be buggy whipped in our most public place, and the holo-vid shown all over Coruscant. Why, when I was his age, we'd have gotten a kick to the head for even thinking about half of the stuff he's done. And we appreciated it!"
Japheth hurried from his seat and whispered in Talon's ear for a moment. Talon nodded and Japheth darted back into his seat. "I guess I should shut up now. Nothing further, your honor." Talon said. With that, he returned to his seat.
Epic leaned toward the judge and asked quietly, "Could I speak in defense now?"
Everyone in the courtroom yelled "NO!" at once. The reply startled Epic so much he almost fell out of his chair. -----------------------

"Thanks you Talon... Epic, you can't cross examine yourself therefore this is really no defense...  So...Threeof4...as the leader of our VAST panal of jurors, please go to your headquarters and discuss what verdict you'd like to give to the courtroom."
Threeof4 stood up and walked out of the room.
"Guards would you please restrain Epic in the mean time...he's looking jumpy..."
Two royal guards walked over him and took each arm and pinned him to the chair. "Hey big boys...." Epic responded. And the court waited....
