Physical Description:
Stix is generally unassuming and could be from a multitude of worlds. His brown hair is a natural shade, his blue eyes light and appealing. He is just tall enough to be respectable in a crowd but not tall enough to draw undue attention. He is fit, but not overly so, just meeting the minimal requirements of fitness. His face is young and appears younger than he really is. He walks straight, most of the time, but has a bad habit of slouching when he thinks no one is looking.
Emotional Description:
Stix joined the Vast Empire to meet people and get away from the normal life on Corellia. As such he is open, friendly, and generally a guy everyone likes. He has a tendency to take this a little to far, however, and is known to become rather annoying at times. Still, he is the guy that everyone wants to be around, whether they know it or not. He ALWAYS has a smile and a kind word for anyone who needs it. While always jovial, Stix doesn’t deal well with failure and incompetence, both in himself and others, and is known to have a terrible temper under the right circumstances.
History:
Born to unassuming parents on the Orbital Shipyards of Corellia, over the Elder Brother itself, Stix is a native Corellian born and bred. Stubborn, independent, friendly, and with a natural knack for piloting and getting into trouble, he inevitably left the shipyards to seek his own fortune. That path led him to the Vast Empire where he was quickly selected for flight training, which he is currently undergoing. His parents fully approve of their sons’ choice to become a Navy pilot, feeling it will give him a sense of pride, honor, and duty that he could never achieve anywhere else.
Chapter II
The Immelman is a maneuver that is neither inherently offensive or defensive, but can be used in a variety of situations. It is a sharp pitch completed at the same time as a roll to achieve a change in direction and altitude. It can be used to gain firing position or to quickly change position without losing speed.
The Barrel Roll is an all-purpose defensive maneuver that can be used to avoid enemy fire. It consists of all three ranges of motion, yaw-pitch-roll, to achieve a distinctive pattern of movement that, while basic, is incredibly useful for avoiding pursuing craft and enemy fire.
