OOC: Medic Spec Story One - First Aid

Kyie had always wanted to be a medic, so today was her big chance. She quickly put on her enlisted garrison uniform and started towards her classroom. "Okay, let's see now....room 110....no...room 109....no....room 108...no.....room 107...no....room 106....no....ah, here it is room 105. Oh no! I'm late!" Kyie said .Kyie walked skittishly into the classroom. She knew she was late and was worried about making a bad first impression. Apparently, her fears were not unfounded. The instructor, obviously annoyed with Kyie's lateness but tried not to show it turned to Kyie with a scolding look on her face.

"Hello and welcome Kyie you’re late."

Great...bad first impression. Thought Kyie.

"Now take your seat Kyie". Said the teacher 

"Hello class. My name is Sergeant Trish...I will be teaching you first aid along with some of the basic things you need to know to become a medic. As a sort of pop quiz to start things off...what do you do to someone that has a deep cut?" Kyies hand shot up enthusiastically. Sergeant Trish looked over at Kyie. "Yes Kyie?" said the sergreant.

"You put weight to the wound when the bleeding stops you put a Bacta on it".said Kyie

"Yes that is right Kyie,” said trish.

"One last thing every one look under you tables you will find a med kit. Put it on you desk" the instructor was saying as the group reached under their tables to find the med kits. As instructed, they placed them on the tables in front of them and opened them up. Kyie recognized some of the contents, such as the bacta: but there were other things inside that Kyie had no idea what they were called, let alone how to use them."inside you find becta, surgical equipment , a Datapad and some Reference rods  you will find out more about them in time.


“Now class we are going to do a field-test every one come with me” said Trish. "You!" Trish said as she pointed to Kylar in the front row. "come here" Trish stabbed Kylar's hand with a sharp-looking object, then looked at Kyie. "Kyie, come here and fix this."

Great just great just when I though the class was over but now I have to deal with a screaming bleeding person. Thought Kyie. Kyie ran over with her med kit in hand. When she got to the wound man she told him that she was going to take out the knife. Kyie opened the med kit and took out a needle and a vile of painkiller. She took the needle and filled it with the painkiller and stab the needle into the mans arm and injected the painkiller into the mans blood stream.

She then pull the knife out of the mans bleeding hand and placed it on the ground next to her med kite. She  took a piece of bandage for her kit and put it around the hand. And then she had to get the disinfect ready.

Which was rubbing alcohol she poured some over the bandage. Then she took of the bandage and placed a bacta then she put all of the tools away and helped the man up.

"Vary good Kyie you pass" said trish.

"Thank you ma‘am" said Kyie.

"Well you passed all the tasks with flying colors. So there for you don’t need to thank me you need to thank your self Kyie. Said trish  you are allowed to return to your room now Kyie". said trish

"Thank you Ma’am" said Kyie. Then Kyie jogged back to room to get a nap. But when she got there she hear the ringing of  hologram transmitter. When she turned it on it was trish saying that the next training is the next day and it is on Bacta Therapy.
