Quick Write Episode II Notes

Vaser Terval is still classified as missing. He was not located in the raid that the Army made prior. Intel is currently attempting to track where he may be.

OOC:: The raid made by the Vast Empire was largely successful, however Terval was not located. While intel works to locate the target, the Army sets up camp about 2,000 kilometers northwest of the facility they had just captured. They situate themselves in a Sensor station (Hexes 0308 -> 0309). Here, night watches/patrols are set while others rest.

At approximately 0100 hours local time fires are noticed across the river at the forest. Storm Platoon is tasked with heading out to the fire to investigate along with two platoons of regular army troopers.

When Storm reaches the river, several mortar rounds hit the sensor station, causing the Wildcards to quickly establish defensive perimeters and Storm is recalled back to the station.

Defense of the station is main priority, however eventually the fire threatens a large commercial farm and we have to divert forces towards that, Wildcard and Storm will take different routes towards it while regular army troopers hold the station. Once the fire is controlled, Wildcard will divert to handle the artillery and Storm will attempt to board a boat that is off the coast that is firing upon the station and may contain Terval.

If anyone needs any advice for writing about fighting a wildfire I've got some knowledge in that field. What with half the people I know doing it.
