I apologize for the confusion, Magus.

And to everyone in general: Magus shouldn't be blamed (nor should anyone who joins) for thinking the VE is a game of some sort. If you look at the About Us section, as well as *ANY* of our advertisements, we specifically say we are a *gaming* organization. Unfortunately, the About Us page hasn't been updated since our establishment - which, then, we were a gaming club integrated with writing.

So, to the rest of the world, we are a gaming club. So, we're currently to blame for false advertising. :P

A new club description is currently in the works.

It's not that simple as we are 'not' a gaming club or we 'are'

We used to have gaming, however that population dwindled away and now we are predominately writing. I believe we want to do some gaming again, however I wonder why we find it hard to start a fledgling gaming population... it can't possibly be threads like this, can it? Oh no... not at all...

We do have an IRC roleplaying population (DnD, d20 modern, Star Wars Saga Edition, Firefly, Battlestar Galactica, etc), and that is the only officialized gaming component we have running at this time in the VE.

But ya, I think we love to have a decent SWG population here, and gaming as well. Although the lack of SW games over the past few years did hurt us... but with new ones coming out... we should try and re-enter that field. So... try and be nice folks, we might want them to come back once we have an actual gaming group.
