Just joined the Navy and figured I would toss and introduction type deal to the Navy.

Eryboscca is a wookie that stands at the towering height of two point seven meters. His fur is mostly solid black with a few patches of light brown on his knees and chest. His piercing blue eyes glisten through his black facial fur. The contrast of the dark fur and the pale blue eyes have been known at times to send a chill down the spines of the trandoshan’s who had taken him from his family.

Eryboscca grew up on the wookie home world of Kashyyyk during the Imperial occupation and the Trandoshan slave trade. He was taken from his parents when he was a teen. He was relocated to the far side of the planet and placed into a trandoshan auction camp. To his luck, he avoided being sold or transferred off planet.

During his time in the slave camp, he was forced to do a massive amount of physical labor. Although, this was what wookies were sold for. With the physical labor came stress, at times this stress sat so heavily upon Eryboscca’s mind that with even the slightest of irritation, whether it was from some other humanoid making a simple joke or just a pest crawling about his skin, he would burst into a blind rage.  These rages would only last for mere seconds, but those few seconds had caused him an enormous amount of punishment for the damages he caused. Stress was clearly one weakness that sat embedded within the young wookie.

On the nights after one of his out bursts, he would lay upon the floor, where all slaves slept, and reflect upon his derangement. Often times, this would lead him to think about his parents. He has yet to come to an understanding as to why he connected the two issues. Other times, this would lead to extreme depression. This depression would keep him from doing even the simplest of tasks like eating or sleeping. Punishment would result as well, just because he did not do his assigned chore.

Those years went by in agonizing slowness, but eventually he was freed when the New Republic took rise. The trandoshan slave trade was damaged nearly beyond repair because of the Imperial backers were now keeping extremely low profiles to avoid New Republic persecution. Eryboscca having been freed felt it was time to depart for a spell from his home on Kashyyyk. He traveled to a number of planets. His rages would still occur on occasion and the local police force would confine him to a cell after he cooled his temper.

When the wookie made planet side on Coruscant, he decided to seek help for his temper and depression spells. The doctor diagnosed him and prescribed two medications. One to control the rage by depressing the wookies overactive adrenal system; the other was an anti-depression medication. Not being able to repay the doctor for his service, the doctor conscripted the wookie to transport some rather seedy medications for him. Eryboscca at the time knew nothing of what it was he was transporting and quite frankly did not care.

These transportations ranged from a simple jog down the street to learning the basics of piloting a small freighter ship. It did take the wookie some time to really get comfortable with piloting, but once he reached his comfort level he began to enjoy it.

Although, he was required to interact with a great number of people in the years he worked for his doctor, he always kept to himself. He only spoke really when spoken to and on the rare occasion he would pipe up and state his own opinions. Few of the locals often called him the “Silent Giant” and he somewhat took a liking to the title.

After paying off his debt, he departed Coruscant and headed for the outer rim. He purchased a rather small ship, which was hardly considered a safe vessel for such a journey. From there, he made a number of contacts with the Vast Empire. The wookie never had any disposition against Imperials, because they were never spoken of really in the slave camp he was in. So, he eventually enlisted to become a naval pilot for them. He could have just as easily joined the New Republic, but the Vast Empire was more convenient at the time and he suspected that he would only be a freighter pilot for either side. He had no second thoughts or worries about being just a freighter pilot and so he began his piloting career in the Vast Empire Navy.

You have now completed all the requirements to pass Flight School, and be placed in a squadron in the Vast Empire Imperial Navy’s First Vast Imperial Fleet.
