Appearance

Jeff has an athletic build, young with no scars or tattoos to speak of.  He has his grandfathers light blue eyes, or so he was told.  He likes to wear comfortable but military style cloths his father got for him while he was growing up.


Personality

Jeff is a very driven young man, a lot of people told him that it is because is he is still young.  But he has even from an early age started to study to become a pilot.  He wants to be the best but also knows that is his one weakness. 

He tries to be like his father or should we say the image he has of his father.  A strong imperial commander with his own command.  When he can, he likes to sit and talk with pilots.  Just sometimes to pick there brains to see if he can learn something new.


History


Early Years

Jeff was born on correllia with his father and mother.  His mother died during child birth, so he went to go live with his father at the military base.  He father was always busy and never had time for Jeff, so he stayed with babysitters on the base.  He liked this time with his sitters because he would sit and listen to stories about the war and what went on in the galaxy.  This is where he started to fall in love with being a pilot.  It was the stories he remembering hearing.  But sadly nothing lasts forever and his father got reassigned to a star destroyer near the planet of tattooine.  He was three at the time when he first went into to space with his father.  He could remember how happy he was to be on an Imperial ship surround by real pilots.

But this happiness was short lived and Jeff soon realized it was no longer fun and games. He found out the hard way when his father started to yell at him that there were alot of places onboard he was aloud to go because of his age.  It didn't matter who his father was no one cared, so he had to find ways to get where he whated to go without no one seeing.  But when he was not out getting into trouble he was in his father quarters doing his school that his father left for him and sneak an extra book when no one was looking. 

He would love to sneak out of his fathers quarters and go down to the fighter bays just to watch the pilots launch.  Maybe if he got lucky ever know and then a couple of them stop to chat with him.  This first sparked his interest in the imperial navy.  He spend days listening to these pilots has they told stories about resent encounters they had with rebels or pirates.

Jeff spent much of his childhood this way, always looking after himself or reading books about space combat.  While his dad spent most of his time on duty.

Academy Years

It was not easy for Jeff to get into the Imperial academy or the Imperial Navy but he did it.  He spent most of his first year studying.  It seemed that it would take him more to learn something when the other cadets caught on just fine.  This is where he meet his what was to become his life long friend.  Jeff was in the Academy libary trying to study for an exam that was coming up when she walked in.  Her name was Jessica Swanson and it was because of her Jeff survived his first years at the academy.

During the second and third years he found out that he loved it when it came time for flight training.  This was the one area of the academy where he had a chance to excel and be better then most.  He also loved it because he got the chance to repay his for all the help she had given him over the two years they were there.  Jeff would spend most of his time in the simulators or going up on patrols, with actual pilots.

Chapter 2 Assignment

The Vertical Reverse

The vertical reverse is when the pilot pulls straight up and when he is just about at stall speed he gives the plane a hard rudder, at which point the pilot turns and comes back down in a dive.  This is best used when a fighter is reposition themselves or when they are trying to discourage the other pilot to break off.

The Immelman

Is a maneuver is when the pilot needs to gain altitude and reveres direction.  The pilot uses this when he needs it done in a hurry, it is when a pilot pulls straight up  and when he is at the right height he reverse his direction.
