Alright everyone, here goes.

My stepmother has a huge family, they are a total of seven or eight kids but that doesn't really matter right now. These folks are having bad luck, a year and a month ago their father died at the age of 84.

A few months ago, one of her brothers was diagnosed with lung cancer, they treated him with chemo, radiation, the works. He got rid of that, everything was good until a month later, he got some bad news. He had bone cancer.

He wasn't doing as well this time because his immune system was already in bad shape, and so they pretty much lost the battle.

Today, I learned that he is in the hospital, his kidneys shut down, and he is on a ventilator. The docs are giving him 2-3 days left to live. I think it's now more like 1 or 2.

Anyways, getting to the point: Sam, Cos and Aeos are ordering me to take Leave. I'll be on IRC, I'll probably pop into he Pallies Squad Topic now and then, just don't expect any story posts from me as I don't now if we'll be leaving for Toronto for the funeral or if it will be held here.

So see you guys around! I'm hoping to stick around on IRC for some time during the week as that comfy place makes me forget about my problems.
