"Statement: Interesting. Please continue." said HK. Fenris began to smile as he tried remembering the whole story.
"Ok. Give me a second, just need to finish this screw. There. Alright, so, we were given a mission to infiltrate a small base on the Outer-Rim. The base itself was making assassin droids for, well, assassination attempts. The Droids were meant to self destruct if they failed, that way, no traces could be found, leaving the Factory able to operate without any problems." said Fenris.
"Statement: And something went wrong?" said HK. Fenris nodded his head and continued, his small ponytail swaying as he did so.
"Well, one of the droids didn't explode, instead he actually allowed himself to get captured by my squad, after a long fire fight. Blaster shots being fired left and right, it seemed as if he was every where at once, surrounding us from all sides." said Fenris, trying to make the story as interesting as possible.
"Query: How is it possible to surround a squad of people if the droid was cut off in an alley?" asked the Droid, finding something illogical about the story already.
"Well, the Droid was given a VI, a Virtual Intelligence, which gave him the ability to think more humanly, but only when he was around more droids that also had VI's, for instance, when he was in the Factory, he was thinking more and more like a Sentient, but the farther away he got, the less he thought like one. It appeared that he set up a trap, planting remote turrets in the alleyway, they were cloaked and everything, a simple Ion Grenade would have fried their sensors and we would have been able to capture the droid." said Fenris, who was now leaning on one of his work benches.
"Statement: That option would've saved you, but possibly destroyed the droid as well. A concussion grenade would've been a better option." said HK. Fenris had a confused looked.
"How so?"
"Explanation: The Concussion grenade would have knocked off the remote turrets, allowing you to shoot them while they were falling, since they couldn't shoot back since they need to be stationary and upright to fire." said HK.
"And the Droid?" asked Fenris.
"Explanation: The Droid would've recieved minor injuries to his chassis, and unless his detonation sequence would go off with extreme force, the Droid would've been fine." said HK.
"Yea, well we didn't have Ion or Concussion grenades, just frags. Anyways, after we dismantled each of the Turrets, captured the Droid, it took 3 days to get the information from the Droid's memory banks." said Fenris.
"Statement: Either your slicer's weren't adept or the Droid had a lot of information." said the Droid.
"Well, the droid had fail safes, like multiple anti-hacking shields. After we got through that, we had to sift through the randomly downloaded stuff the droid had hoping that eventually, his memory core would automatically delete the oldest stored info." said Fenris.
"Statement: Sounds logical." said HK.
