My name is Jegora Fal. I'm the Naval Training Officer. I'll be around to assist you in your training, although you'll probably become more familiar with Shazam, our Training Executive Officer, along with Tomas, C-3PX2, Ibram Tyrol, and Stormz, our current Trainers and Operators. Any and all of these gentlemen will be more than willing to help you out. Now, you've already done the first phase of your training; that is, you posted. Easy stuff, huh? Now it's time to move on to the next phase of basic training, Flight School. Flight School can be found at: http://www.vastempire.com/wiki/index.php?title=Flight_School_%28FS%29Flight School is broken down into several steps called chapters. After you complete Flight School, you will take the Aviator's Exam and join a squadron. Along the way you'll create a Wiki page, an Identification Line, file a Report, study tactical maneuvers, and most importantly you will define who your character is. Now, the first step is Chapter One. This is where you will create your character. A guide to character creation can be found here. This guide will give you all the information you need to get started. When you complete your assignment (creating a character biography), post it up here and one of the staff members will critique it to check for accuracy and flow. Of course, you may have questions that the Wiki can't answer. Thats why the VENA Staff is here. Simply post your questions on this thread, private message (PM) us over the ComNet, email us, or find us on our IRC server (irc.imperialnetwork.com). To access IRC you can use our free chat applet (jIRC) or you can download a client (mIRC). The #VENA channel is always open, and our main channel, #Vast_Empire, is always full of experienced members. Physical description: Velthis is lanky and clumsy. He always looks disheveled from always rushing and bumping into people. He has a light red skin color uncommon to many Twi’lek. He has eyes the color of soil. He always wears clothes appropriate for the situation.
Emotional description: Velthis is always stressed because he strongly cares about what other sentient beings thinks of him. The stress comes from creatures all throughout his childhood called him a freak because of his skin color. Other than that Velthis is very serious and tries to be organized. Velthis can be a neat freak at times. The constant stress and trying to organize his life is what causes him to be disheveled. When posed a problem he will try to solve in unconventionally. For example is Velthis needs to carry a few things, instead of making two short trips like most people would, he’ll take one long trip using teeth, feet and body to handle everything.
History: Velthis grew up on the planet of Deysum III in the Outer Rim. He had mostly human and wookie friends because all the Twi’leks he grew up around bullied him because he had an abnormal skin color. He was the only child of a loving mother and father. At the young age of 17 Velthis’ parents were captured by slavers. Velthis was devastated by the loss of his parents. He decided there was only one thing for him to do. Join the Imperial Navy in hopes of saving his parents from the life of slavery and to show all the Twi’leks he grew up with that he was more than dirt. Two years later Velthis was accepted into the Naval Academy and started the rigorous training he had to go through to become a full member.

Ill do that. Is the wiki page part of chapter one? I use a mac so mIRC won't work for me since it's for windows, and jIRC needs netscape or IE while I use the default browser for mac called safari.

The Barrel Roll: The barrel roll can be used offensively and defensively. To start a barrel roll, you roll slightly then point your nose up. Keep your nose up in order to keep on spiraling around the central axis. Offensively you can use this when you feel you’re gonna over shoot them. Defensively you can use this to make the bandit overshoot you.
The Lag Pursuit: The lag pursuit is used offensively. When you are going to overshoot somebody and the only reason you’re going to overshoot them is because of speed, then you use the lag pursuit. The way to use it is to turn at approximately the same rate of turn in order to maintain your position against the pursuer. If done correctly, you should remain beneath the defender’s tail.
