I'm appalled at the lack of a topic on the greatest sporting event after the World Cup and the Olympics in that order. Any persons here rooting for any particular side? Me, I'm just a punter. Won money off the Croatia and Austria game. Betting on a Portugal win over the Czechs tonight. BTW, hoorah for Swedish crumpets! Average team, lovely fans. Hashi, I've followed it religiously from over here however I could. There's only so much I can see on the tube... I try to catch every game I can on TV.
Watched Turkey v Switzerland today, as well as Czech v Portugal. Saw a couple yesterday, and the day before.

Earned some cash off Portugal. Only to lose it again when the Croats hammered the Germans. Damn Croats. Stupid Germans.
Sigh.
And yes, the next World Cup is 2010. Qualification is on the other way. In fact, I will be going for the next qualifying match pitting my own country against Saudi Arabia tomorrow.
Time to brush up my brawling skills. Hoping to antagonize some Arabs and enjoy abit of a scuffle; you never know. But Arab men are big and scary. Hmm.

Well I hope you realize it's in South Africa, Leon. That's quite a graduation present... flight to SA as well as balls-expensive World Cup tickets.
