Hello there. My name is Jegora Fal, and I'm one of the Naval Academy's Operators. That means I'll be helping you through your training, both here in Basic and beyond.
There are several other trainers and operators that will be assisting you as well: Shazam, our Commander of Training; Tomas, the Training Executive Officer; C-3PX2, our only Trainer; and Ibram Tyrol, our senior Operator. Any and all of these gentlemen will be more than capable, and willing, to help you out if I'm not around.
Now, lets get down to buisness. First off, the Vast Empire isn't a 'game' in the traditional sense. It's a forum-based, play-by-post RPG. This means that we roleplay through stories. These stories happen on a variety of levels, from personal and squadron stories, to Wing stories, and even Chapters, which involve the entire organization.
The first step of your training is Flight School. This is where you will learn the ropes of the Vast Empire. After going through Flight School you will take the Aviators Exam, which will qualify you to join a Squadron and begin your career here in the Navy. So, lets start, shall we? First off, you need to have a Character Biography. This is the first stage of Flight School, and perhaps the most important. This is where you create your character; who he or she will be, what he/she will look like, his or her personality traits, etc. A link to a Character Creation Guide can be found here.
When you complete your biography go ahead and post it in this thread. I or another staff member will then look over your bio, making sure everything is in order.
If at any time you have any questions, or if you're looking to get idea of our club and its members, I highly encourage you to explore the rest of the ComNet and jump onto our IRC server, via either our free chat applet (jIRC) or the downloadable version known as mIRC. The most commonly used channel is #Vast_Empire, and the Academy channel can be found at #VENA.

WEll here it is, I'm not sure whther th history section is what your looking for, since it's pretty much just him leaving the planet and It was on sudden notice. Though very often he rushes into things without thinking, most of the time this puts the ones he loves in danger. HistoryJacen was once a smuggler for his father's smuggling buissness. He's made over thousands of runs, including a few for the Hutts. After one of his smuggling runs for a group called the "Burning Stars", he was accused of stealing some good from them. a bounty was immediatly put on his head. He fled to Tadath where he thought he would be safe. He joined the VE NAvy and stayed there. Here's Chapter 2: The Barrel RollThe barrel roll is a simple maneuver that involves keeping rolling slightly, but keeping the nose pitched so that you spiral around the axis of your flight. It is used if you want to force your Opponent into over shooting you or, if you're going to over take an enemy to quickly, you can execute the barrel roll to escape a fatal Collision. The High-Speed Yo-YoThe idea of the High speed yo-yo is to reduce(Area off of trail) AoT so that you may get a better position behind your Target. It is used when the target makes a sharp turn. In turn the Attacker pulls up on the nose and is put into a sharp climb, he almost immediately inverts, performing a small roll, then apply pitch to position back behind the target in a smaller AoT. This will put you further away, however it will give you a better firing position. Trainee

EDIT: I edited my Wiki page. Chapter III: Report: This week I made my Bio so that I would have a character to use in the Navy. I also explained two Manuevers in Chapter 2 so that I would have a better grip on space flight. Today, I also created a Wiki for my character, which I will update continously until it is completed, or I have it at least close to done. For the record... Chapter 2 Assignment: Pretty darn good for an Army fella, RK  The only thing that I'll note for you, though I'm sure you're fully aware of it, is that some of these moves, especially the two you mentioned, are only affective in the ways you mentioned if they're in "atmosphere." In space, neither drag nor gravity have so dramatic of an effect as they would in the atmosphere surrounding a planet; thus, a low or high yo-you would not act in the same fashion, necessarily. However- you explained them well: so you pass! Chapter 3: Looks good to me, Ryno. And you've already been assigned to Viper: the best to you, bud; welcome to the Imperial Navy.
