"Yeah I know what you mean, and the name is Ror, Ror Nadon," Ror said as they walked down the street. Ror yawned, he had been drilling earlier that day and was in no mood to do a patrol, let a lone one at night with a new squad mate he knew nothing about. Ror looked at the man, he looked like he was slightly older then Ror, well by what he knew about human aging. The man had just been assigned to Paladin before the patrol was ordered.

"Yeah okay, I am Baretz," the man said as they approached a street corner. They decided to go and "search" the corner and really take a breather to relieve boredom. Baretz offered Ror a lung blaster and Ror gladly took one.

"Long time since I have been able to smoke." Ror said as he lit his cig. Baretz walked over and leaned up against the wall of the drugstore that was on the corner. Ror on the other hand walked over to a bench next to the entrance and sat down and pulled out his data pad. He figured he might as well study a little for class while he was "searching."

"What you looking at Ror," Baretz said after a minute or so of silence.

Ror looked up from his data pad and said, "Oh nothing really, just studying for my communications class thats all."

"Aww a com tech, we always need more of those..." Baretz replied.

"What did you pick?" Ror asked as he read over some channel listings.

"Oh I am almost done completely with my heavy weapons training." Baretz said as he flicked his Lung Blaster bud away.

Suddenly Ror heard a crashing noise coming from the drug store and shot up. Baretz immediately went for his E-11, "What is it Ror, huh?"

"I heard somthing from the store, I think someone might be doing some "after hours shopping.""

Ror looked at the man, Wow he just ordered me, ha I will call him on that later, because anyway he is right. Ror grabbed his comlink and got onto the public police channel, "Attention this is military patrol AlphaGammaHotel at (68,77). There is a suspected criminal who is breaking into a drugstore and are in need of someone to make an official arrest."

"Attention AlphaGammaHotel we are sending only one officer to make the arrest. Do you think he will be enough," a female's voice asked over the com link.

"Yeah It should be, we are two storm troopers after all." Ror said with a smirk. He switched off his com link and looked at Baretz who was still in the middle of the door way, "Hey is he not coming out on his ?" Ror asked as he walked back over and peered over Baretz's shoulder to see a dark room with no sign of movement.

"No I guess we have to go in and get him ourselves. Now Ror..."

"I will go in and check it out with you covering my back till the officer gets here. Now THAT is an order," Ror said in a serious voice trying not to laugh at it. In truth he did not care but giving him a hard time would be fun.

Ror walked into the room and slowly started to go through the rows of sleeves looking for the junkie. He went through them all and found no one in there, "There is no one here Baretz," Ror called as he started to return to his partner. At that moment he tripped over something on the ground and fell over. "Dammit"

Ror looked down at the ground and saw that it was a trap door on the floor, "Hey Baretz you might want to come here..."

Ror looked up at the door above them, "well I guess this is the only way up then." Ror started to climb that latter, "cover me as I open it Baretz" He looked back and saw that Baretz nodded and aimed his gun at trap door at the ceiling of the sewer. Ror opened the trap door a little and shut it silently and slowly climbed down shaking a bit. When he got down he saw that Baretz had a completely confused look on his face as Ror dropped off the last three bars of the ladder. Ror slumped down to the ground, his back trailing down on the wall next to the ladder.

"Ror, what happened man, what is up there Ror!" Baretz asked as he crouched down next to Ror to find out what had happened.

"There...there...there...was so many of them..." Ror said starting to ramble on.

"What, many of what thieves?" Baretz asked trying to piece together the running of words Ror was giving, "Snap out of it Ror, snap out of it."

Shaking his head for a minute and taking a deep breath Ror regained control of his composure and replied, "There are a dozen NR troopers up there in that meeting room. That wasn't a thief it was a NR trooper coming to a meeting. That drug store was probably just a front."

"Wha..wa..what Ror are you kidding me a dozen NR troopers," Baretz said turning to the trap door in shock, "What are we going to do man."

Ror thought for a moment and looked at all their options, there was only a few that Ror could think of at the moment;
1)Stay and fight and probably die taking one or two with them Not the best of options I would say
2)Leave and report it and hope they can send troops to here in time before they leave Nooo that will take to long we have to deal with them now
3)Lore them or part of them into an ambush and hope they weaken them enough to take on the rest This might just be the only option that is going to work I think

"Okay Baretz we are going to lead..." Ror started before he was interrupted by the sound of the trap door above them. One of the NR troopers came down the ladder and fell off the ladder when he saw Baretz and Ror standing there. The noise attracted the attention of others who looked down the hole and gasped. "Run!" Ror yelled as he turned and ran the opposite direction.

"We can't let them get away men, the VE can't know of our infiltration till we strike, AFTER THEM." one of the soldiers called out.

"Roger that Baretz," Ror repiled as he turned to the left  at a T intersection and started sprinting down and pulll out his data pad and looked for a meeting point. After examining the map for a good minute he heard shots ringing off behind him. He didn't wait to see if they were aimed at him ro Baretz before he turned again into a twisty path that went aroudn 4 corner in about 20 feet. He checked his apox. new barrings on the map and found a meeting point.

"Okay Baretz there is a abonded sewer bunker for urban warfare at the spot where both of us are going to come out at. I want which ever get there first to bunker down and get ready to cover the other to get in. Is that understood?" Ror said as he made the third to last turn before a striaght away to the spot on his map.

The response came back almost right away and he heard Baretz call out already panting, "Yes sir I am appoarching there now." Ror nodded to himself as he made the final turn and ran down the straight away as fast as he could with shots ringing off behind him. When he reacehd the edge he saw Baretz opening up shoting all around him at the his pursuers.

Ror jumped into the sewer water and climbed out the other side as the firing from inside the bunker stopped. Ror jumped in through the back window and found Baretz reloading, "Thanks you could have hit me private," I say as I bring up my own weapon and scan both entrances for an attack.

"They retreated a second ago, probably trying to reform to come again at us. Don't worry this is fortified enough to take a beating so we just have to watch ourselfs." Baretz said as he pulled up his weapon as well.
