== Background History == Raised on Tattooine by his father whom was denounced by the very family they belonged to, all because of a petty argument between Skjoll’s father, Geirmann, and Grandfather Ostvard. Geirmann settled down, beginning what he had started months ago, by designing and making armor with whatever materials he could acquire and sell these armors to customers concerned with their safety for affordable prices. It was not something that rolled in the money as some would have enjoyed, no, it was more of a service to the people which was the very reason why Geirmann and Ostvard were always so very opposed to one another.

Before the move, as a young child, Skjoll had suffered several traumatizing events at the hands of relatives, such as beatings and worse. As the boy ages, he began to adopt his fathers career as his hobby, and grew fascinated with some headgear. He’d be mildly inspired by a helmet his father had made, based on common Tusken headgear only metal and more protective. It WAS designed to frighten off opportunists in the desert, but after some thought it was conceived to be a bad idea, especially since Tusken Raiders were far from predictable.

As the boy matured, psychological quirks rose to the surface after a decade or so of being buried. His father had found out for the 5 years they had lived on Tattooine that no children had at all played with Skjoll. Mostly he played by himself, and grew to be a very quiet boy who liked to cover his face most of the time. When he finally reached maturity, he’d arrive home one day from shopping and noticed a note. This note wasn’t much different from others, just his father going to salvage scraps. It was normally harmless – except that it wasn’t his fathers handwriting, and there was a hole blown through the door lock.

Skjoll would have searched high and low for Geirmann before finding him unconscious on the dunes. His father was only able to tell him little fragments, explaining Ostvard had died and as part of his dying wish, wanted his son and grandson dead soon. Soon enough several thugs popped up, but just after them several more Tusken Raiders popped up. It was horrible, Skjoll was able to survive thanks to the Raiders, but was not able to escape and soon was entered in Tusken Servitude. The 16 year old boy, hardly a man by most standards, was used as a labor slave and at times an auxiliary warrior when the nomads crossed paths with other Jawa or Raiders. In their servitude he learned the Tusken language, not comprehensively but enough to follow most conversations. He also learned how to use a Tusken Cycler Rifle, and a Gaffi Stick, though capable of using both he preferred the Cycler Rifle and found it strange how efficient a bunch of Raiders could be at…refitting such weapons.

After roughly five years of fighting, working, and at times getting beat the Tuskens had considered taking in an outsider before there was an explosion. Thanks to a roaming patrol of Desert Troopers, Skjoll was finally freed from captivity. He took the moment of chaos to escape and taking with him his helmet, a Cycler Rifle, a bag of 450 Cycler Rounds, a Gaffi Stick, and enough supplies to last him a while before he escaped offering his thanks by beating off some Raiders on his way out.

For 2 years he gained some fame in the deserts of Tattooine, sticking close to civilization though only entering it to trade for supplies and such. Skjoll gained a reputation as the Madman of the Dunes. He was known for hunting Tusken Raiders, and sometimes accepted jobs to aid in the safe being of transportation of equipment such as mining machinery, and trade caravans. He claims he’s killed at least 100 Tuskens alone, though rarely does he make such boasts. After 3 years, further growing proficient in the use of the Cycler Rifle, He decided it was time to stop this lifestyle and return home. After all, there was nothing he could do to avenge his father – this was not what Geirmann would have wanted, not was it the Tusken’s fault that his father died.

He decided to take a break for a year, it was not hard seeing as you were considered a minor hero, though minor is the key word. Sadly that did not hold up when getting a job, the people that once praised him were now frightened – what sort of rational person lives in the desert fighting Raiders on their own? At least he was away from the town, but who could blame them? Skjoll was in a slump, before he was approached by an Imperial Loyalist, taking advantage of Skjoll's plight they managed to offer them a job protecting cargo on his ship. It was strange, especially seeing as there was little anyone would want, and soon he was pulled from New Republic space and into Imperial - where he was soon lured into joining the Stormtrooper corps. via local recruiter.

== Character's Personality == Contrary to belief, Skjoll is a mildly disturbed man whom some might call a Lunatic. If reputation didn’t work for and against him, he’d likely would not have been nicknamed Madman. Though fairly proficient and well-versed in firearms, he is stubborn in a non-verbal way. He prefers to speak sparingly, not wanting to make a fool of himself nor does he believe that he can at all argue his own beliefs very well. So instead of arguing he remains quiet though upset he cannot vocalize himself well.

Theirs also the problem with his preferences, he tends to disdain modern firearms in preference to his Cycler Rifle. He has parts to modify the hunk of junk in several ways, and enjoys the weapon right down to the sound it makes. Nonetheless he has insisted upon using it, especially since he had tried contemporary blaster rifles on the grounds of a wager, betting that he’d in fact like the weapon better – which he didn’t. He is able to compromise, and also knows well where his preferred weapon will and will not work. He also has a quirk where he prefers a helmet he himself designed. For the most part it bears the same capabilities as a Stormtrooper helmet does, mostly since he simply stripped one down and placed the sensors and whatnot in his own helmet. He prefers this helmet, over most others, despite these quirks if he’s allowed this gear he is known to be quite responsive and obedient if his little quirks are satisfied.
