Growing up wasn't always easy for Perin. As a child he lived with his parents in the lower levels. Both were good people. They worked hard and wished the best for thier son. Infact they payed for him to have special tutoring with money they didn't have. And with the near by gangs always demanding some sort of tax, plus what they owed on top of that to a hutt, it wasn't long before his home was raided. His father killed before his eyes while they did unspeakable things to his mother. Perin was forced to watch, and when they were done they killed his mother and planed to kill him next. Perin was quick on his feet though and bit down on a hand that was holding him still, while at the same time bringing his heel down hard on the mans toes. As one of the others pulled his blaster Perin pulled the blaster from the holster on the distracted man behind him and fired a few shots toward the gang member infront of him as he made a dash for the door. The first shot missed but by sheer luck the second hit the man square in the face before he could pull the trigger and by the time the others figured out what was going on Perin was gone.
It doesn't take much to get lost in Nar Shaddaa. And there is plently of work to find for a kid all alone with nothing but a blaster and the clothes on his back. It wasn't long before Perin started doing jobs for one of the many lower gangs. It wasn't much, delivering a little spice here and there. But as he aged, he found his skill with a blaster and knowledge of the streets would be fit doing something else. Bounty hunting became his trade and there was plenty of it. By the age of sixteen he had made quiet a name for himself in the lower regions and finally had a small enough fortune to find his way off the smugglers moon.
Out and about he was now looking for a new job and the empire was hiring. After roaming the galaxy for the last few years, his fotune was wearing thin and he needed a new job.
