Background History
Janek was born on Corulag as the son of the planetary governor. Corulag was known for breeding rebel activity, so Janek grew up watching stormtroopers put down uprisings. Amazed by the godlike warriors in their white armor, Janek became infatuated with Imperial Stormtroopers.
On Janek's seventeenth birthday, the Rebel Alliance came to Corulag. Rebels rose against the governor's house and killed Janek's mother, father, and six year old sister in the blast that destroyed the house. Janek blacked out.
Janek woke up in a medical tent with a squad of stormtroopers standing around him. The detachment had found him while searching through the rubble of the governor's house and brought him to the temporary encampment.
The stormtroopers were all standing without their helmets on, and it was then that Janek realized he could become one of them. He would accomplish his lifelong dream and be able to avenge his family. |
