Crewman Joshua “Yoshii” Wetere, started out as a crewman on a private salvage ship. Scouring the asteroid fields for scrap parts and other valuable items to sell on the black market. Serving on the HMAS Salvager for 5 years until
the Salvage was attacked by a squad of raiders. After Crewman Wetere help to fight of the attack his bunk mate Senior Crewman Jones noticed that the raiders were not retreating but holding position just outside of our firing range.
As we moved to engage the enemy, they opened fire on us, rupturing our hull. The order to abandon ship was given and we moved to the life boats. The raiders didn't care much about our retreat as they opened fire on our life boats shooting down 7 out of the 10 that were launched. After that I resigned my position on the Salvager and enlisted in the Vast Empire's Naval Fleet. Hoping that this would give me an opportunity to quell the threat of the raiders and any other
party that threatens the peace and stability of the Empire.
Receiving his orders, he packed up his belongings and headed of the the Vast Empire Naval Academy.
