Some of my army picture on duty.   Private Dugas with is C9, shooting on nothing.  Corporal Robitaille and Corporal tremblay.  Me receiving my Military achievement Award. (2006) I have been Promote Lately to Corporal :P  me (middle), Salute the officer of training.  The Team Hooah.  Alpha Squad setting up base camp. I will put more pictures when i will find them. Just outside of Halifax Hartigan (a good navy town  ).
For the most part, I think Canadians do really respect the soldiers, though perhaps not the institution of the military as a whole. Don't let the anti-Afghanistan sentiment get to you though; I think the number of people who celebrate things like Remembrance Day really get across the fact that Canadians deep down respect you and what you do (I know I do).
