Now, I consider myself a smart person, able to put 2 and 2 together. Now if 2 = temperatures increasing in the world, and 2 also = a major climate changing geological event dissipated right around the time the temperature increase started.

Al Gore is a disgusting waste of human life. Almost as bad as the human wasteland that can feed a small village in Africa and still have enough fat left to keep himself warm in Antarctica, all while making Freddy Mercury look like Mr. Clean (Michael Moore).

Anyways, Angel, you're right on everything until you say that Al Gore is a waste of human life, cause we never had an American presidential candidate speak out about this. Try to think of it from his perspective, the person who took care of him died from lung disease because of the very same tobacco that they were producing, plus his son almost died from a car accident, it's just as he says: He wished to have connected the dots a little sooner, really.

So, If an authority figure, ie: Hillary Clinton, states categorically that little fuzzy bunnies cause cancer in albino, cross-dressing Puerto Ricans, we should put the full power of the Federal Govt. behind the eradication of said bunnies?

Um... The argument can be made both ways, Dante. To be fair, there's TONS of evidence to prove that humans aren't causing global warming.

Of course, that doesn't mean while we have our eyes in the dark we don't have to cut back on things that are portentially causing global warming. There is no conclusive evidence either way.

let's see, your evidence is based on less than 150 years of intermittant data collected from mostly the US and Western Europe.  while ignoring the lack of long term evidence from Africa, Asia, SouthAmerica,and Austrailia. 

Not saying we may not be helping warming, however to say that man is the sole cause, and that we have that much effect on this planet is a bit of human arrogance.

No, Gshlecc, that's not what I mean. I meant that Al Gore is the first authority figure that has led us to recognize and solve this problem, which U.S. can do without lifting a finger, cause they're the only superpower on this planet. Also, Gshlecc, please don't take things off topic, we all hate Hillary because she called Putin a soulless man but Putin's a big fellow, he can take it, he'll rise above America with China, I know it.

But we'll discuss that another time. Gshlecc is right, CO2 emission has not been control in the US, their standards aren't even those of China, they are the main country contributed to polluting the air with CO2, making the heat waves bounce back to earth with athwart radiation, if you call can understand my meaning.
