Thank you to everyone who has been patient with me over the last couple of weeks, or rather, months- it's been interesting. My job is to ensure that the VENA is well kept, but my absence has forced me to leave that job to those who are already busy enough as it is: Tomas and C-3PX2. For their consistency and devotion to the VENA and our new recruits, not to mention their outstanding activity, I have promoted Tomas and C-3PX2 accordingly in our VENA ranks. Furthermore, Tomas has been given the position of Training Executive Officer (TO). This means that when I am not present, he literally becomes the life and will of the VENA- his word is the word of the entire staff; it is a great honor, but also a daring responsibility that I'm proud to say he willfully accepted, lol. Congratulate them in whatever way you will if you see these two gentlemen; they've been the soul of the VENA as of late. However, I'd also like to recognize those members who consistently welcome our new recruits- those members are actively involving themselves in the training process by making new recruits feel more welcome, and for that I am grateful and highly encourage others to do the same.
With those thoughts in mind, I would also like to announce the opening of one to two position on our staff that, most likely, will pertain to new recruit response and interaction, primarilly interaction on a run-on story. Also, if you took the TE and received a certificate, make sure that it fits the current standards for TE certificates- lemme know if you have any questions concerning it.

01-16-08:
-Nell passes the Aviator's Exam is promoted to the rank of
LCRW- assigned to Nazgul Squadron
-Fulfiller passes Aviator's Exam with distinction and is promoted
to the rank of SCRW - assigned to Viper Squadron.
-VENA Wiki edited for TE and LE certificates instead of just MEs;
further exam questions and tests put under review for relevance
and accuracy due to recent changes in style and aim of VEN.
-One to Two possible openings in VENA-S announced: lower level
positions for members looking to keep new recruits actively
participating in run-on story.
-CWO Tomas (Trainer Lv 1) promoted to VENA-S rank of Trainer
Lv 2 and named Training Executive Officer (TX) of Vast Empire
Naval Academy.
-WO2 C-3PX2 (Operator Lv 1) promoted to rank of Trainer Lv 1
-Rogue passes Part II (tt) of Technical Exam (TE) and thusly
passes the TE, attaining the Technical Exam certificate
demonstrating Meritorious Status (=TE=)
