Welcome to HellGate Nighteyes and JawaHunter.

We will start up a story soon.  THe HSC is in full swing and I want to get you guys in the action as soon as you are ready.

Please post a greeting in here so that I know you guys are active.

Also, I have a small variety of possible stories, so I thought that I would let you guys pick.


We can do any number of things:

There are Counter Ops, in which the squad does something to slow down or otherwise inhibit the enemy.  This can encompass taking out an enemy target, dirsupting communications, sabotaging fleets of vehicles, hitting small squad targets, etc., etc.

There are reccoinnasance squads, which can perform by gathering intel, stealing data by infiltration, spy games, etc.

There are squads that focus on Multi Environment specialties, where the squad may be in ice one mission and underwater or in heavy jungle the next.  These need to be able to survive in many harsh climates and their missions must be important.

There are also Special Ops, which are advanced, but they can do anything that you would imagine special forces doing.  They may rescue VIP prisoners, kill a well guarded target, start a war, whatever.  We would be somewhat limited on the difficulty for this type because we are a drill squad.

Other squads focus on Unconventional Warfare.  Just guessing, but this may be where the paper towel tubes in ICS came from.  They would likely focus on hardcore guerilla tactics, chemical sterilization of enemy camps, stuff like that.

Another squad does long range reccoinnassance, which means long flights (except for us b/c of the simulator) and pretty much any info gathering you can imagine.

There is also an Armor squad.  This type most likely focuses on heavier infiltrations and would also be a more advanced storyline.

You guys let me know which one you are interested in, or if you have a story idea, and I will get one up for us to run with.

I want to do special ops

Ok:

We have a full squad now.  If you haven't posted a greeting please do so ASAP.  We will have a story up by tommorrow at the latest.  It will have an (HG) in the title os you guys know its us.

I plan on hitting a well guarded bunker in stealth and seeing how it goes from there.

The first post will be a briefing for everyone, and then you can post after that.

Try to pay attention to how the story plays out.

At first we will be outside of the simulator, and I will direct us in at a later post.

Just follow my lead.

Well i guess this is where i am supposed to be. So i will say reporting for duty. I am not sure where i need to post my character outline so could you please let me know. It has been 12 years since i have role played in this manner so it will take me a minute to get used to it again so please bear with me.

One more thing to add:

If you guys have the chance, I would like to get this thing moving ASAP.  We have about a week to get this story done, and there are others in line behind you guys. 

After the first post deadline, which is Friday night by 10 Central time, I will have to move the story on without whoever isn't there, and you will be in the next group.

Ok.  You heard the man.  Anyone want to develop their character on a personal story with me?  It will help give a shot at getting used to the posts.  We can do whatever:  Hunt, go orienteuring, running, take a ride, whatever. 

The main point of an RP story is to help discover personal interactions.  Gives a feel for what your character is like as an individual.  We can do whatever. 

Just post your idea in here, or if you are interested but can't think of anything, post that you want to go in here and I will set it up. 

There is almost no limit.  You can even ask to see my gun collectiona nd we can turn that into a story.  (though my gun collection isn't anything grand, at the moment.)  Just post up in here if you want some action and can't wait for the story, or just want to practice.

I am having a bit of trouble interpretting your questions because of all of the misspellings.  If you can write all of your posts in MicroSoft Word, Open Office, or something like it and spell check it I would appreciate it.  Another fallback may be to use Mozilla FireFox browser (As Jaden said in your other post) as it has a spellcheck built in.

Let me try to address your questions as I understand them:

You can try to get AIM addresses if you want.  Mine is Mako Sanguin.  It may  not work all that great though, as you can really only talk to one or two people at a time.  One other option may be to use the built in JavaChat IRC in the VE.  You will probably have to set it up everytime (unles syou take a laptop to the cafe I assume), but teh link is:

I have no idea what "eeoopis" is, but I can tell you this about the IC (money) issue.  Anything you absolutely need, you have been given. If you need anything else, your SL will ask you to get it.  If you want to buy stuff to use in the stories (as many people do) you can get it at teh Imperial Center Store (ICS) from the VE homepage.

You can get more credits by using the Pay Per Click (PPC) everyday.  THis is also on the left of the VE homepage under "General."

I prefer not to give out my personal email, however, teh VE has a mail system in place under the comnet message center.  I sent everyone an intro letter asking them to post in this forum and on the story to this box. 

Go to the ComNet at http://comnet.imperialnetwork.com/  (Same place as you get to this forum on) and click on message center near the top.  To send me something you will hit "Compose message" and  type my name (Mako Sanguin) into the "To" field.  Type a subject line and your message.

Hello Hellgate,

I have posted a new post at stormtrooper academy which requesats all members of squad to introduce among themselves and to me, pls help, thank you!!

Also I have started a new story at story net, pls feel free to participate thank you!!

It was my first day at the StormTrooper Training with HellGate Squad, After a hectic interesting day filled with breifings, Drills and Weapon Trainings it was rest back at the Barracks.

      Most of my colleagues where having a great day with charger brand beers. I lie down on my bed wide awake thinking about my hostile pirate infested world back home, tears welled in my eyes for those unlucky souls who where not as lucky as me!!

    It was near 9:30 chronos in my HellGate camp I thought may be I will take a stroll with one of beloved eeopis( they are mount and backpack animal I bought from imperial store I own 5 of them) At that time my CO Marko Sanguin called me on how well I have done on that day!! He also cheered me up and asked me to accompany him for a walk which was a great honour for a trainee trooper. Iam forewarned and foretold about the novice sector that lies around our barracks a hostile mix of desert and desert shrub land scape. He also shared with me the experience of hunting with other squad memeber!! We went out has planned!! The Wind is chilly and is blowing hard, and few distant clusters of stars are visible in the distant sky!!

    I had my E-11 blaster rifle some toast and beer and some food (my permission to take one of my eeopis was also granted) for my eeopi all mounted, we drifted away quietly in to the night not want to disturb our celebrating colleagues!! But at the Security Check up we're asked for clearence and is cleared!!

Not far as we wandered of in to the western south western co-ords of compass we reached a shrub tree with nice shade and we thought of enjoying the first day out with snacksthat we have bought and the Beer along with the silence and wind of the night.

    An Hour has passed!! we where talking about the vast empire and legends that happened suddenly my eeopi gets nervous and twitches its nostrils we turn our heads in every direction to see what is happening!  We here an aerial vehicle with queer shape not representing the HellGate Squad!! Two Non-Human species stepped out!! and started combing the place with some sort of hand held device and talking in language not that of of our squad!! I panicked and was about to reach for my rifle but Mr.Marko warned me otherwise. We huddle together and watch in silence!!
