Biography Verlock Macross was born on Naboo, in the city of Theed, during the clone wars. However, as soon as it became apparent that the Clone Troopers weren't what they said they were, Verlock's family, along with hundreds of other families, got themselves smuggled off of the planet by brave trader ship pilots. Verlock's family settled on Tantooine, living in caves with other families that were escaping the Empire also. For years, Verlock and his family hid down in the caves, away from civilisation, and away from the force ruling the Galaxy.
After many years, Verlock grew up big and strong, being one of the tallest of the people in the caves. Meanwhile, Verlock's father had begun a small production facility deep in the cave complex in which he produced ammuntion used in rebel firearms. After a long many years in preparation, Verlock was given that task of going into the city of Mos Eisley to fetch supplies for his fathers work, aswell as for food. Verlock set off, reaching Mos Eisley late at night, unaware of the curfew in place. Stopped by Imperial Stormtroopers, his ruse nearly fell through when he let his real name slip. However, none of the Stormtroopers heard it, and told him to get indoors. Verlock couldn't believe what he had seen. The white armour instiled in him a feeling of admiration and fear mixed that he had never felt before. Returning home late the next day, Verlock told his father about what he had seen in Mos Eisley the day before, and how he felt about them. His democracy obsessed father was enraged by this, and told Verlock that if he truly felt that way, then he was no longer his father. Verlock stormed out of the cave, vowing never to return, and knowing exactly what he was going to do. Upon reaching Mos Eisley however, Verlock fell to his knees. Everywhere posters were stuck up proclaiming the death of the Emperor. With despair, Verlock fell into an inn and rented a room. In return for being able to stay, Verelock worked in the canteena, cleaning up after drunks and brawlers, until one quiet afternoon. Verlock was cleaning up, scrubbing a table, when a man in military dress strode in, and looked around. He saw Verlock and sidled over.
"Say, you look like your a strong lad," he whispered in Verlock's ear.
"And, so what if I am?" questioned Verlock.
"Well," continued the soldier, "Its just, I'd say you could do better than this," he said, gesturing around.
"Go on..." said Verlock, intrigued.
"Well," the officer edged closer to Verlock, so close Verlock could feel his breath on his neck. "How would you like to join the Vast Empire?"
"The what?" exclaimed Verlock, as he began cleaning again.
"The Vast Empire," explained the officer. "Its a remnant of the original Empire. We're fighting to restore the Empire to its original glory." Verlock turned around.
"I'm listening."
Emotional DescriptionVerlock Macross, toughened by years of living underground and on the run, is fearless and courageous even under heavy fire. A great shot with a blaster, if your'e in Verlock's sights watch out. Although Verlock is prone to outbursts when cornered or ganged up upon, he is relatively sociable and easy going also.
