I don't know about the rest of you, but I was browsing through the ImperiCare options, and I just can't decide if it's worth it. I mean, in theory, our health is covered by the state if we are injured in combat, correct? So my question is this: Is it worth taking out money from my monthly paycheck to cover health insurance, or am I wrong about the state covering our injuries during combat? Uh...
I never gave that much thought. It's just to help role playing, really. From my knowledge they don't charge you for getting hurt in a story, and if they do they ought to be sending me receipts.
As a PFC, your income is pretty low so if you feel like doing it, just go with the worst option(besides uninsured). But I think it's just to help you role play as a trooper with (fake?) real life problems like bills. In the brightest light,

Is it necessary? No. Will your wounds be taken care of should you be injured in battle? Of course.
