just out of curiousity wouldn't it make more sense for the DJO to look for recruits as opposed to them getting applications? Like notice the talent as opposed to it being handed to them? Cmon they're Jedis give them some credit

We accept those that the High Council feels would work well, and only those that wish to join. Those who wish to join the ranks of the DJO will apply, and the High Council discusses whether or not that person is a good option for the DJO as a whole.

Back when I joined, the DJO was basically free to enter as any other division. You could check the DJO Box on the Join Application to join, and you'd be taken under consideration - that's how I joined.

Also, the DJO has already requested (many times) for certain individuals to join, but they've denied.

You must meet the requirements before you submit your application, or the Dark Council will not even look at your request.

Also, the fact that you submit an application (and fulfill the requirements) doesn't mean you will be accepted. The Dark Council hand-pick candidates based on numerous qualities.

I sometimes doubt whether the LoR's makes such a big difference, but to Army members; I've been having a few LoR requests, which was no problem, but I need to establish something that makes the LoR count on my behalf.

If you come to me for an LoR, don't expect me to reply to say yes or no. I will be giving only one LoR a month from now on, if the Dark Council wants, I can PM it to them directly, or otherwise, just have the applicant attach it as usual.

If the Dark Council has a problem with this, please let me know;

I'm pretty sure that the Council's never wanted the applicant to send in their own LoR, because they've not wanted the applicant to know what the LoR says about them, or be able to adapt it. I've always PM or emailed any recommendations that I've been asked to write.

Question: It says that I'm supposed to submit two LoR with my application, both coming from superiors.

However, since I'm a Squadron Commander...I kind of am my own superior. The only person directly above me is Denethor, but who should i ask for the other one?
