Squadrons aren't required to have an XO, although it is common practice for one of the FLs to be an XO, and rarely one one of the non-FLs.
You do not lobby for better fighters, you earn them in comps and whatnot. Aegis was flight T/Fs when I joined 'em, they're in Advanced now. Thats about the highest upgrade any squadron can reasonably expect to get. -----------------------

I just sent a letter to the editor of VE Today. Also, I intend to fully update the Venom page tomorrow at school where they have a faster connection. I also kinda started the story on the Venom Story runon -----------------------

Go to the roster: Click here
log in if you need to
go to the Navy Roster, it will probably take a little while to load.
Scroll down to where Venom Squadron is, and check the 'zoom in' feature on yourself (I suggest opening this in a new window, so that you do not need to reload the navy roster later, as it takes a while)
If you feel the need to update or add any information that seems really blank here, go to the 'Edit profile' option in the left-hand link bar. In this you can edit most of the things seen on your profile. Then hit update.
