Yes, I play. I am in command of the most powerful Imperial Guild on the valcyn server, called Imperious High Command (Latin for Imperial High Command.) We do alot of roleplaying and are loyal to the Empire.
I am willing to lead the guild for Vast Empire if you guys are willing.

agree and disagree Cosmic, when I was playing I found it rare that I ran into other players that were not AFK or something. Those that did I did mention the VE but they were not interested. -----------------------

It would be a good recruiting venue, but the only problem would be that most of those people would prefer to have a guild to join in game. That would mean that the VE would have to develop a strong guild in game to begin to bring in recruits from SWG. That is just from my personal experience with this game.
Then is the small matter of the million changes that will happen to the game before the VE even gets a good guild up and running and chances are those changes will make a large group of people upset and then they will leave the game. I've seen it happen quite often. At least I did while I was playing. -----------------------

A bunch of us got this game when it came out. We started a guild jointly with FES. Some of us quit playing SWG. Some of us quit visiting the VE.
Basicaly last time we actually *lost* members. That being said I really don't care, I'm just letting you all know. -----------------------

The problem with any MMO is that it sucks people in with it, not people out. You have to also pick your servers carefully for activity and develope strong contacts in the game to survive as a new player. Just some friendly advice from an old man :P
As for the operations with Eclipse server, I am happy that "Corporate Universal", the work of both VE and FES members from the games launch is still kicking and going on to this day. Though I know I'll surprise Peacemaker and Kadann sneaking into SWG in a few days (if possible.. waiting on fixing my computer first). -----------------------

If BioWare makes it, its sure to be good, but MMO's are different then RPG's, BioWare might take everything Players say, and then you'll get whiny players, and then BioWare becomes SOE Raiders

I think they'd probably work on KOTOR3 since it is probably two different sections of BioWare.

I would love to help out with TVE on SWG
all we need to do is find members that are all ready part of the VE and SWG. Tell them to put a advertisement in the bio and say that they are part of it. This will help some.
Also we need to pick a server. So when ppl deciede to jion from VE to SEG they know where to go.
Also we could give members of VE creds special items for being members in SWG.
Then there ofcourse need to be a section on here VE for SWG.
VE could take over a server in SWG. Of course it will take time and effort. I am willing to help out in this area. |
