In my appointment as Army XO I know that I was supposed to be taking up the slack left by Fury's regular absences due to work responsibilities. I also know that I've not fulfilled this expectation at all.
And so I'm considering retiring. I'm out of work at present but planning to be employed as soon as possible again, so it will be back to my old ways of working all day and not doing my duties here.
So tell me what you think, and I will let you know what I decide. -----------------------

To me, it all depends on what your new job will demand of you. I think you can do your job, but you just need the time to do it. If you're looking for someone to tell you to resign the position beacause you're not the right person for it: you're not going to get it from me. If you resign, to me: it should reflect how your personal life may/may not interfere with your VE Career. I think I've said my piece. -----------------------

my opinion is to quit your job and become a cyborg connected to vast empire 24/7 
honestly though find out what your job asks of you I'm sure it wont be seven days a week even i get one day off from school/work but if you decide to resign I'm sure I speak for all of VE by saying we would miss you. -----------------------

It is a perfect sign of my schedule that it has taken me over two weeks to see that, and THAT was because Rizzit told me about it...two days ago.
That said, I barely feel like I earn my paycheck here lately. Merr, most of your job is to let me know what is going on when I'm not around. Usually that means my night/your day as well as things that come up that I may not get spoken to about. After all, I'm the old dude and you are still young enough to be approached about stuff.
We are just coming off a really bad period for activity the past couple of years and I need talent just as much as I need presence. You are good at what you do. Stick around; you'll find ways to earn your keep. -----------------------

I dunno, what is really sad is everyone's total lack of interest in it. So many views and hardly any replies.
But as you say, I suppose that is a product of the terrible activity shortage happening atm.
