Hunter felt like he had been shot in the head then poorly healed by some bacta. Why did I let those damn techs convince me to have a drink with them? Pushing up from his bed, he stumbled to his refresher and closed the door. A few minutes later, he stepped out with a minimally better step and got into his clothes. Nothing some good medication couldn't take care of, though I hate having to do that to myself. Next time they involve Sabacc, I really have to turn it down. Good thing they didn't notice I sliced it. I gave them half their money back, so it wasn't like I really stole from them. He consoled himself.

Picking up his datapad as he left his room, Hunter checked the squadron meeting's time for the third time. I'm getting anxious. It's been too long since I've flown. Aegis hasn't been given a mission for some time. I hope this one goes well. Moving through the halls of the star destroyer that Aegis had been stationed on for the past month, Hunter spotted the two men he had played Sabacc with the night before. Swerving to the left, Hunter took an alternate route. He soon realized his new route wasn't going in the correct direction any more. Breaking into a quick jog, he rifled through his datapad's files for the map he had stored in its memory. You'd think after a month, you'd know your way around, Hunter! I knew I should have left more time. I'm only going to just make it. Grinding his teeth, he dodged around an idle tech.

Ten minutes later, Hunter flew through the briefing room door, brow glistening with sweat. The rest of the squadron, who were taking their seats, turned to look at him. After straightening his clothes and mopping his brow, Hunter calmly walked to the chair next to Chip. "You almost didn't make it, again."

"Sorry, things just always. . . come up." Hunter grinned.

"For the past three meetings?" Chip arched an eyebrow.

"Yes," Hunter replied. "So where is this mission taking us?" He continued in a rush.

"Easy now. One would think you've been locked away for a week."

"We have been." Templar said from down the table.

"So we have," Chip muttered. "Let's begin then. This mission isn't really apparent. We don't get to just go in and blast a few fighters to bits. This one involves a bit more, subterfuge before hand."

"Doesn't that fall more into other squadron's territory?" Raigen asked.

"It would if the second part of the mission didn't need more fire power than an Advanced could give, though I don't doubt the other squadrons' abilities. Now, let me explain some stuff before you go asking more questions, or we'll never get out of here. A few weeks ago, a NR Corellian Corvette was captured. It had been equipped with a special power generator, capable of producing two times the amount possible by our ships. Intelligence had obtained the location of where the shuttle was taking its first long term test run. It had been heavily guarded, but our forces were able to capture it and escape.

"Unfortunately, do to the amount of resistance they met, a lot of our ships were destroyed or damaged in the encounter. They were to take three short jumps before heading in the proper direction. When they entered real space for the last time, they were met with a rude welcome, or so we can assume. We don't know exactly what happened, but due to the wreckage of a few ships that weren't our own, Intel. has surmised that a group of pirates stole the Corvette. They've been able to track down their whereabouts to Asteroid Prime. It's on the outskirts of our controlled systems and is normally left alone. It doesn't pose any threat to us in itself, but the people that use it as a stop of place or home are not people you want to bump into on the street, or space.

"If you haven't heard of Asteroid Prime, it is basically a small colony gone wrong. After it had been mined out, it was changed into a form of pirate and smuggler safe zone. Apparently, whoever runs the place is strong enough to force everyone who goes there to play nice with each other. Pirates and smugglers go their to trade, sell on the black market, go to a few of the bars, hang out at the casino, or just lay low for awhile. I'm sure you've heard of these types of places around the galaxy. You can normally find one in every asteroid belt that is close to civilization. Any questions so far, before I continue?" Chip finally paused and took a breath. The room was silent. Most of the squadron, who had been looking at the holo-projector, now showing a revolving image of Asteroid Prime, turned their heads to Chip when he stopped talking.

"How long do we have until we leave? I'm guessing we're going to Asteroid Prime to find the pirates that stole the Corvette?" Jmac asked across from Hunter.

"Skipping ahead now are we?" Chip grinned. "All right, as Jmac just said, we're going to find the Pirates. The reason we're doing this, is so if they decide to run, hopefully we'll be able to follow them in our gunboats to their base and take them by surprise. That should let us take out their defenses and take out any large ships they have in dry dock. If they don't run, then we are going to have force them to tell us where the base is. So, the first part of our mission is to infiltrate the local black market at Asteroid Prime to see if any Corvettes or new energy generators have entered the market. Hunter, that's your team's job. You will be taking your flight with you and pretend you're just entering the local seen. If nothing shows up, you'll meet the rest of us at the ship that takes us. We won't be staying on the asteroid. The rest of us will be moving through the bars and other establishments, trying to find or pump any information on where we might find a Corvette or who tends to pull off those types of missions. With some luck, we'll find the men we're looking for.

"The second part of the mission, as I've already stated, will have us either follow or find the pirate's who are responsible for taking the Corvette base and capturing it. Once it is secure, we'll send out a message to a waiting skeleton crew, who will transfer from their shuttle into the Corvette and take it to a secure area. The second part should only take us forty-five minutes to accomplish, thirty of which will consist of us babysitting the corvette until our crew is in position. Now, does anyone have questions?"

This time Hunter opened his mouth. "How are we getting there, and when do we leave?"

"We will leave in roughly three hours. Everyone is to pack a side arm or two along with some street clothes. We want to blend in, so nothing fancy." Hunter grinned. I'll blend in quite well with this face and eye. "A cargo transport, which will hold out Gunboats inside of it, will take us and dock with Asteroid Prime. It will look like we're in the trading business, and we will let everyone think that way. While on the asteroid, I expect you to all play that role perfectly. Any slipups and we might lose our prey. Also, the transport will be our home while we're there. It will be very crowded, because three-fourths of the ship has been modified into a hanger bay to hold our star fighters, so it's a good thing we're all friends. That's all I have. Get ready and meet me at the shuttle hanger in two and a half hours. We need to transfer to the Rough Ride then, so we can leave. Dismissed."

Getting up from his seat, Hunter stretched his back out. That was a longer meeting then I thought it would be. "Hey Hunter, will you be ok with your assigned task?" Chip asked him as the rest of the squadron filed out of the briefing room. "I know you were arrested for slicing into some confidential stuff and that's why your here, so I was hoping you might be able to use that talent to maybe search the black market records a little faster than the legal method, if you can count cheating something illegal wrong."

"I think I'll be able to handle it. I've gotten into a lot better protected things before." Hunter shrugged.

"Good, I'll see you at the hanger bay then." Chip exited the room ahead of Hunter and headed off to the left. Now if only I can remember the way back to my room. Hunter scratched the back of his head.

*After the meeting, Templar stretched his back a little bit and prepared to leave the room, as he was on his way out he notices Chip talking to Hunter. Templar doesn't bother to listen, but waits for the two to quit talking. Once their little conversation is over templar walks up to Chip and salutes.*

"Sir, as you know, this is my first mission in our Gunboats, and if I've read the Specs. right, I've also noticed that the Gunboats are quite a bit different from the Tie Fighters, considering their obviously superior size, payload, and reduction in speed. Do you think that perhaps I might be endangering the mission due to my...lack of experience?" templar asked nervously. No, I don't think you will endanger the mission, I have seen you in the simulators, and you're not to shabby, my advise to you would be to to stay focused and you'll do fine. besides, everyone has got to start flying for real eventually." With that Chip grins and walks out of the room..

*As templar walks down the corridor toward his quarters(He makes an effort to walk in the OPPOSITE direction of his squad mates) he feels a cold sweat start to break on his forehead.*

" This is so nerve racking, yet so exciting at the same time. My first real mission ever... were i will be in a real fighter, firing real blasts, at real enemies, hopefully." Templar reaches his quarters, and types in the password to unlock his door, he then walks in and plops down on his bed. "On the one hand, I will finally be able to begin the process of avenging my father, first pirates, then the Rebels. But on the other hand... if I mess up badly on the mission, and I end up causing the whole mission to be a failure... I will get in tremendous trouble. I could be executed, a little harsh but it's been done before. Or even worse(Gulp) I could be kicked out of the Empire. I don't think I will be able to survive being outside of it." *As Templar says this last sentence, he sits up, with grim determination on his face.* " Well, I just won't mess up is all their is to it, like Chip said if I can manage to focus on the mission, and not be so stuck on the past, I will get through this, along with all the other pilots in Aegis. I should probably go pack my stuff now..." *Templar looks around and realizes that he had already packed his bag three weeks ago in case Aegis was to have a mission.* "HM.. maybe i don't need to do that actually, perhaps i should instead go do some last minute self tweaking on the simulators..."*And out of no were all of the fear ans stress about the mission climaxes, and he feels exhausted.* "Or... a half an hour map might not hurt either." *With that templar kicks off his combat boots and turns off his lights, he sets his alarm system to go off in forty-five minutes, and he goes to sleep...

OOC: besides the personal story I wrote called "The Battle Of Endor", this is the first story I've written so far that actually includes other people in it. i apologize for the shortness of it, and for any grammatical problems it has.

Geth walked down the hall to his quarters. On the way he was re-thinking his time in the navy, wondering if the navy was a better choice. If he had joined the army he could have served along side his older brother, and stayed on Tadath, where he could have stayed with his family. Jeez, I leave in three hours, that's hardly any time with Glissa. Geth started a slow run through the maze of the ship.

Finally reaching the door to his quarters, he walked in to find his divine wife rocking their infant boy to sleep. Glissa looked up from her caring for Blaze, and saw who had come through the door, which brought a smile to her attractive face. Geth couldn't help but smile back but he knew she wouldn't like the information he had to give.

-= Two Hours or so Later =-

"I should say bye to Bronx too."

"Yeah, you should."

Geth and Glissa walked over to the holoprojector. Bronx happened to be in his room so he answered it himself. Geth explained that he was leaving for a few days. After a few minutes of talking Geth realized he still had to get ready, and gave his goodbye to Bronx. Bronx wished him luck and closed the link. Geth gathered his clothes and uniforms, walked over to his weapons cabinet, and took out twin IR-5 Intimidator Repeating Blaster Pistol's. They were a gift from his brother. After realizing that he had been staring at the blasters for a minute, he looked over at Glissa.

"It's time to go..."

Glissa replied through her sniffles, "Ok...I love you..."

Geth walked over and kissed her on her brow, "I love you too, Glissa."

Geth turned and walked through the door, leaving the two things he loved most in the universe behind, and started walking down the hall.

He continually nodded through the mission briefing. He would have considered throwing in a well timed joke, or perhaps even a throughtful question. However, he saw no good reason to do so, and wanted very little to attract too much attention to himself. He would let his skills speak for themselves.

The sound of his boots clanked against the durasteel plating as he made his way to the simulation booths. His head swam with constant procedure, and his palms grew sweaty with each thought.

"Preparation is the key to victory" he mumbled to himself as he strode into one of the booths. "Authorization 2-2-3-1-4 Alpha Bravo." A holo-vid screen lit up, and the simulation had begun.

He readily finished strapping himself in, and began the training. Two and half hours would be plenty of time to polish his skills.

After Hunter had found his way back to his room, he sat down on the bed and began to list the things he would take with him. After a few minutes, he walked over to a desk with a built in terminal. Opening the top compartment, he put his hand inside and pressed a concealed button. A hidden compartment suddenly jutted out from the side of the desk. Kneeling on the floor, Hunter bent over and started pulling out some of his equipment. If Chip wants me to access the black market there, I'm going to need a lot of this stuff, just incase it's more heavily defended than I assume.

Ten minutes later, Hunter straightened up slowly. Looking down at the pile of tools he would take, Hunter checked to make sure he had everything. Once he was reassured, he kicked the side of the compartment, closing back into its hidden position. As he bent over to pick up the slicing equipment, Hunter closed the drawer with the button in it. Wouldn't have been good leaving that open. What if someone had found the button? I doubt many people here know what this stuff is for, but they could probably guess.

Carrying the unique supplies he had taken from the compartment, Hunter carried them to his bed and started to sort them. First he picked up a datapad with nothing but a screen on it. Most people would assume it was useless, but Hunter had developed it so you had to press the screen in three key areas for it to activate. He had used it many times before when he was arrested in his earlier life. No one knew how to open it, so any secretive data he downloaded onto it was well hidden. The next few items were odd wires and cables, wire cutters, micro-torches, magnifiers, and miniature grasping tools. He sorted those into a small briefcase which had three concealed compartments. He had had it specially made out of a very hard metal that could withstand almost every weapon. Helping a few business men get rid of some things always had a way of paying off in the end. Hunter really didn't know how he had gotten his prized tools past security. He knew in the back of his mind that everywhere he was allowed to go was secured from him, even if he had taken his tools.

When he had been caught hacking into secure items by the Vast Empire, he had been given a choice, work for them or spend the next thirty years of his life in prison. Of course, he had chosen to join the Navy. Prison had never suited Hunter. Thankfully, he had shown signs of being an adept pilot besides his slicing skills. Once he was through the academy, a group of officials had given him back his confiscated tools and told him never to use them unless ordered by a superior officer. At that time, he thought it would be almost impossible to comply with the orders, but once he was sent to Aegis squadron, Hunter hadn't had enough time to slice into anything. Now, he only hoped he hadn't gotten rusty with his hidden talent.

Once he had finished packing his more delicate slicing tools, Hunter shut the briefcase and set the thirteen digit code lock. He didn't know what he was going to find on Asteroid Prime, but he was going to be prepared. Moving over to his closet, he pulled out a few of his clothes and flight suit. Packing the flight suit into a duffle bag, Hunter chose three other pairs of clothes to take with him. All the pairs of clothes were the same dark black suit with a stripe running from his right shoulder to his left him. The stripe was colored red, blue, or a darker black. It made him look more refined, but the all black one had an added bonus of making him almost disappear into shadows. Choosing the blue one to wear on the trip, Hunter changed from his clothes and packed everything else. Looking down at himself, he decided he looked roughly like a merchants aid. His metal right eye and scar showed he knew the way things worked on the darker side of things. This mission was made for me in many ways. I just hope I can help them once it comes to flying. He also hoped he could resist the temptation to return to his former life. The draw to leave his Navy persona behind had become his old self was something Hunter didn't know he could face.

Looking at his chronometer, Hunter saw he still had an hour left before the squadron was to meet in the hanger bay. Maybe if I get a little sleep I'll feel less anxious. Or maybe I should go fill in my flight on what we're actually going to be doing before it happens. Without a hint of guilt, Hunter flopped onto his bed and decided he would just tell his flight on the way to Asteroid Prime.

(OOC I know it didn't move the story too far along, but I wanted to give Chip, Jmac, and everyone else a chance to write some before I just took us to the shuttle. )

Ah, so a little flying mission, this will be good, I've been dying to get out of here thought Gemini to her self as she headed out of the briefing room. She stole quick glances around her at her fellow comrades. Her eyes settled on one if the new recruit. Malo. She was as green as he is, not being able to handle her flight capabilities well. Shaking her head she continued her way, not up to joining their chitchat with each other. Eve after months of serving with them the only person she would really talk to was Hunter. Probably the fact that he was the first of squadron to greet her. Gemini shrugged.

Hmm, what to pack, what to pack?
Gemini was going through closet not really finding suitable clothing for her mission. She threw most of it away thinking that she will be trapped in flight suits for the rest of her life. She smiled at her dramatic thoughts. Since when was she dramatic?
Guess I better head over to the store, get some stuff. With that in mind she left her room.

"Hi Blue, wait up"
Gemini rolled her eyes at her nickname she got from her squad. Reminded of one of her defects her hand automatically flew up to her dark blue hair. Damn rebels.
She sighed, she might as well start living that tip out Hunter and Jaden gave her so long ago. Get sociable.

"Hi Kid" putting extra emphasis on the word kid, to get him back on his blue greeting. She glanced at him where stood heaving up and down from the short sprint. Her eyes rested momentarily on his neck where deep ashen white scar stood out, though mostly concealed by his collar. Even though he flew much better then her, and had more experience, she couldn't help but see him as a kid, still in his teens fresh out of the academy. A twang of jealously roused in her at his natural abilities. She barely managed to pass flight school.

"Where are you heading?" she asked
"Flight Sims, get last second experience on the gunboats, you?" he asked, his brown eyes flickered around constantly, never able to to make contact with her. She stole a quick glance to his hands, she shook her head as he clenched his fists and unclenched them. He was nervous.

"I;m going to the store, I should get some hair dye for my hair, I might stand out a lot, and relax, you'll do fine on the mission. Mind if I join you on the flight sims? I need some experience my self" Gemini took a deep breath, she wasn't used to speaking so much, so fast all in one breath.

Templar stared at her with a slight shocked face.
"No offence Blue, but I think that's the longest sentence I've heard from you since I met you"
Gemini laughed finding the conversation quite pleasant to her surprise.
"Watch it," she said with a playful glare before her face returned back her usual expressionless stare.
"Thanks for the advice, I know I'll do fine, I just cant help but a bit nervous, Hmm, maybe you should ask Hunter what you should do with that mess of colour you call hair"
Templar received a whack across his head for the comment before grabbed by his arm and dragged him with her. Surprised by her strong grip he could only squirm.

"For that you have to come shopping with me, I need some clothes, then we 'll go to the flight sim"  ordered Gemini, she really should have dyed her hair before she came to the navy. Once she gets out of here she might write a book one day about the jokes cracked about her hair.

Templar groaned knowing there was no escaping, Gemini quickly gazed at her watch.
"We have fifteen minutes for me to shop, then sims, we only have forty-five minutes with it thought before we depart." Muttered Gemini.

"Crap" Templar thought as was dragged down the hallway by Gemini. "Why do I always say the wrong things about girls?" *sigh* *I don't know a thing about women at all" "Blue, are you sure we'll have the time, I mean uh, I was just joking about the hair thing. It uh, looks fine. *Templar tried to smile, but the smile fades when he sees her emotionless expression. He starts to break a sweat, and he breaks away from her so she won't notice his sweaty palms* "And besides, don't you think that uh... it would be a lot more productive if we spent our time in the simulator?" Gemini still had an emotionless expression on her face, but Templar could make out a small trace of a smile. "C'mon, this will only take a few minutes. Besides, we'll have the time in the world for the Sims after wards." *Templar pretended to ponder for awhile but he already had his answer. "Fine" In past experiences he found that just agreeing with them was easier then not.* "Ok, lets go".

As Templar and Gemini made their way toward the shopping center two men in Stormtrooper armor walked out of the shadows. "Hey Bow, take a look at the freak and the nerd."said the one on the left. " Ha ha ha...yeah, take a look at that, isn't it a shame that we're blocking this passage, and that we're the only people in this dark, shadowy corridor?" The one on the left grinned, "yep, Bow it is a shame isn't it." The grin left his face. "but seriously, you..pilots (he spats out this part) better pay up if you don't want to get hurt, lets see all your credits." *With that the two draw their blaster rifles*. *templar yells to get down, and draws his blaster pistol within milliseconds of the two drawing their own blasters. Amazingly though, Gemini had drawn her blaster twice as fast as Templar had, and had already shot both of the Stormtrooper thugs in the face.* "Oh Crap!" Templar yells,"your fast...are they dead?" "No, i set my blaster to stun before i fired, they'll just be knocked out for awhile. *Templar gapes at her for awhile before he regains his posture. he spits on the two stormtroopers.* "Well it's a shame their not, scum."
*Templar and Gemini step over the bodies before continuing on to the market....*

Standing in the middle of the hanger, Hunter had his bag and briefcase with him and was looking around for the rest of the squadron. No one's here yet, and we leave in five minutes. Great. Hunter dropped his bag to the ground next to the modified shuttle which would serve as the squadron's base of opperations at Asteroid Prime. Chip's probably already inside by now. As if his thoughts had summoned him, Chip appeared at the top of the boarding ramp to the ship.

"Hunter, get on board. Jmac's already inside as well. The rest of the squadron are still missing though. I'll wait outside for them. Oh, and you'll be sharing a room with Gemini once we get to the Rough Ride. So, you'll probably be outside of your room most of the time, since she is a girl. We would have given her a room to herself, but there isn't enough room. Since she seems to talk to you the most, we figured it was best to put you in the same room. I hope it isn's a problem." Chip had walked down the ramp to stand next to Hunter as he spoke. Picking up Hunter's bag, he tossed it into the ship.

Hunter quickly grabbed the briefcase and started to walk up the ramp, saying, "You don't want to toss this one." Looking back over his shoulder before he entered the shuttle, Hunter saw Geth and Malo Jewell arriving. Moving down the aisle, Hunter nodded to Jmac as he sat down across from him. Putting his things underneat his seat, he closed his eyes and laid his head back. It seemed like only seconds before the rest of the squadron had arrived. Gemini had sat down next to him with Templar on her other side.

Glancing at her a second, Hunter saw her with a look of consentration spread across her face. Probably putting a sentance together. She's getting better at it though. A moment later, she asked, "We'll be sharing a room, right?"

Hunter nodded. This was probably one of the reasons the two of them got along so well: Gemini had some difficulty talking, and Hunter just didn't like to talk. This somehow helped them to communicate without having to say much. Half of their conversations wouldn't make sense to some people. "Who am I staying with?" Templar asked.

Gemini shrugged, while Hunter looked at Jmac to see if he knew. "I believe its Geth," Jmac responded to Templar
s question. Before further discussion could continue, Chip came walking briskly down the aisle muttering to himself. "Two minutes late for take off..." Hunter grinned. It wasn't long until the shuttle rose from the hanger bay and crossed the energy field into space. Small talk boke out between pilots about what they had brought with them or what they thought was going to happen during the mission, while the shuttle made the short journey to the Rough Ride.

Gemini even said a few things to Templar and Hunter. She explained in a brief sentance that she had bought hair dyet the store to help her blend in while at Asteroid Prime. Tmeplar continued the conversationg after she stopped talking and told Hunter about their simulator training. Hunter was really only paying half attention to what he was saying. Most of his consentration was given to thinking through the many different senarios the mission could take. Hunter always liked to plan ahead.

It took ten minutes for the shuttle to arrive and dock with their real ship. It took another five minutes for everyone to get on board and into their rooms. Chip was going to pilot them there, so once he had made sure everyone was ready, he walked to the bridge and was lost from sight. Dropping his bag on his bed and putting the briefcase delicately next to it, he turned to Gemini and said, "I'll be out in the kitchen for a little while. I'm going to see what the gave us to eat for the next few days." She nodded and watched him as he left the room."

As Hunter walked down the hall, Chip's voice came through the intercom, saying, "The trip will take us about three hours, so do what you need to do to prepare."

(OOC Sorry I cut your little thing off Gemini and Templar, but the story needed to continue badly since it's been a few days since someone posted. I hope this post sparks some more people into posting. )

Gemini rested her face on her knees, while hugging her self. Hunter left a few minutes ago leaving her contemplating on what colour she should dye her hair. A common colour, something most woman or girls have. Gemini picked her self lazily from the bunk to get her backpack. She rummaged for a few moments through it before a small bottle protruded from it.

Might as well get it over and done with

Shocked silence fell in the kitchen when Gemini walked through the door. She looked up confused as the rest of the squadron just stared at her.
"What?" she asked, another few moments passed in silence. Hunter coughed. While Templar started to shake with laughter. Chip looked at her with raised eyebrows.

"Brown hair?" asked Hunter at last, a fry pan in his hand.  Gemini tucked the strands of hair that fell in her face behind her ear with a slender finger. It sure was odd to see her self in the mirror with auburn hair.

Gemini blushed, her cheeks turned scarlet as the guys kept staring.
"Blue looks way better," muttered Templar. Gemini nodded her head in agreement. Even though her azure hair was a defect, caused my scientific research, it was part of her, and made her unique in one way or another.

"Have you ever cooked before Gemini?" asked Hunter knowing she was uncomfortable; it was shocking to see her without her usual blue tresses. Gemini looked at him with surprise before she trudged over to him and took the pan out of his hands.

"Get going boys, you are overweight waste in the kitchen," ordered Gemini, she opened the fridge door to get some ingredients. Chip and Hunter feigned hurt in their expression, while Malo and Templar marched themselves out with a&
"Yes Mam" Gemini fought to keep her self from grinning at this.

"Are we there yet?"
Everyone looked at Templar with annoyed expressions on their face.
"What?" he asked innocently, a huge grin stretched across his face.
"We arrive there in an hour, happy?" muttered Hunter, irritation scowled on his face.
Gemini smirked as a brilliant plan formed in her head for Templar. Quickly forming her words right she straightened her self from her sleeping position and sat upright to face Templar.

"Did you enjoy the snack I made?" she asked with a sugar sweet voice. Well as sugar sweet as she capable off. Templar looked at her dumbfounded before grinning again.

"Sure did, why?"  Said Templar with a dreamy expression on his face thinking about the snack.
"And now you are a bit bored," Gemini continued. Already phrasing her next sentence in her head.
"Yeah, stupid crap of technology." Muttered Templar as he attempted to kick the floor. Gemini caught Hunter's eye, she gave an amused smirk, which he replied catching her plan.

"Yeah, technology is crap, as well as the droids and the dishwasher, be a dear and wash up the dishes" This time Gemini grinned and sugar sweet smile at Templar.
Templar grumbled a few languages as he stomped to the kitchen while Gemini resumed her lounging around activity. No use to lock her self in her room. The Aegis was too much of a laugh to be missed out.

After Gemini had sent Templar to the kitchen, Hunter had quietly left the lounge area of the Rough Ride and walked back to his shared room. Once inside, he went to his bed and was about to flop down on the covers when he saw that he hadn't unpacked yet. Picking up the briefcase which had his slicing equipment in it, he squeezed between his bed and the small floor cabinet next to it, so it would be secure if the ship came under attack. Picking up the duffle bag, the put it at the base of the bed. Only an hour left. I think I'll just lie down for awhile and rest, too much sound in the other room for me. Gemini seems to like it though. Her hair definitely looked better blue.

The next hour of the trip was a blur to everyone on board the Rough Ride. Whether they were cleaning in the kitchen, joking in the lounge, flying the ship, or just resting in their room, the time slipped through their fingers like sand. It seems like only a moment after he shut his eyes, that Hunter was being shaken awake. Sitting up like a bolt, Hunter reflexively grabbed the person's arms it was that touched him. "That hurts." Gemini said.

"Oh, sorry," Hunter said, releasing her wrists. "It's a. . . habit." Getting up from the bed, he asked, "Are you ok?"

"Yeah," Gemini responded while rubbing her wrists. "I'm fine." She paused a second, thinking on which words to use. "We're here. That's why I woke you." Stepping over to the door, she turned and asked, "You coming?"

Nodding, he followed her from the room and let her lead him to where the rest of the squadron was already grouped. "Ah, so he's awake. We were wondering where you went." Chip said. "Well, we've arrived and are about to dock. Now, here is what we are going to do. We are going to split into three groups. Jmac, Hunter, and I will be leading them. Jmac's group will be going from bar to bar asking for certain information that might lead to the Pirate group we're looking for. They will also be finding the local informants and so forth. Just make sure you guys don't get too apparent today. For the first day here, we want to just spread our nets without scaring the fish, so to speak. Jmac's team will be Templar, Malo Jewell, and Jmac. Hunter's team will infiltrate the local black market. They'll pose as bidders that just arrived at the asteroid. Hopefully, one of their auctions won't be today. After infiltrating the market, ask to see if any power generators have entered the market. You may get lucky. Once that is done, report back here. Hunter's group will be Gemini, Space, and Hunter. The last group will be Raigen, Geth, and me. I'll fill you all in as we go. Right now, just follow me. Everyone is dismissed. Stay safe. Raigen, Geth, follow me." Chip's group walked to the boarding ramp and exited the ship after it had landed.

"Let's go," Jmac said, leading his group out of the ship as well.

"You two wait a second." Hunter said. "Gemini, this is going to be hard for you, but you are going to be the merchant. This means you are going to have to talk for us, but I have to be the attendant, and, sorry to say this, since you're a woman, they might think we aren't a threat. Do you think you can do it?"

There was a brief pause while she considered the monumental task ahead of her, before she replied, "Yes."

"Great. The reason I have to be one of your attendants is so I can easily slip away while the auction goes on sometime in the future. The best tip I can give you, be arrogant. Let's go, we're wasting time now. Oh, and this will also mean you have to the lead the way. Don't worry, I'll be right at your shoulder, guiding you. I know where to look for the underside of the world."

Nodding, she strode to the ramp and said, "You coming then."

Grinning, Hunter nodded and followed her into one of Asteroid Prime's hanger bays.

Raigen followed Chip obediently. He had a multitude of weapons surrounding him including his beloved sniper rifle. Now this is my kind of place. Weapons and excitement everywhere and plenty to do! Raigen thought about this and smiled comfortably. He was lucky enough to sneak his Toscan 8Q starfighter onboard in a nice, cozy spot while the rest of the squadron was getting briefed. He preferred its excess laser cannons and modified controls, even if it was a tad slower. He hid his gunboat, the Heckler aboard the star destroyer where he could retrieve it later along with his droids.

Raigen's sniper rifle was strapped over his back. He was wearing his gray utility vest, long black military style pants with blue piping down the side. He also wore a long white pull over shirt and black, knee high spaceman's boots.

Raigen walked up next to Chip and kept up with him. "Sir, I thought I could do better working to find the pirates myself. I worked with these kind of people before enlisting and I think it would be less conspicuous if we worked separately." Raigen waited for a response. He knew he didn't have good chances at getting to work on his own but he gave it a shot. Besides, I could at least make conversation, he thought.

"I'd rather you stick to the plan Raigen, why don't you run some maintenance checks on the gunboats. See if everything's in order. We need to be our best to get that corvette back." Chip sighed and looked at Raigen, then continued walking. Raigen looked towards Geth. "Do you think that was an order?" Raigen was puzzled. "Think of it as a friendly suggestion!" exclaimed Geth who stopped and continued after Chip.

Raigen scratched his head before deciding to ask Chip for a two hour leave later. All he wanted was to pick up some needed supplies.

It may have been part of magnificence once, but its days of glory were over. The hangar spoke of forgotten pride, now overrun with slime and scum. The dirty tiled floor couldn't even manage the typical tap-tap of boots walking, much less a reflection. Grovel and dirt obscured it beyond recognition. It was bustling with characters beings and races from every corner in the galaxy. Most were ruff racks dressed in rags, with yellow beard lining their faces or a full beard reaching down to their burly chests. Young kids were hanging around, obviously trying their luck as pickpockets.

Gemini stifled a yawn as they made their way through the crowd. Hunter carefully guided her as he whispered from the corner of his mouth. Half her personality made up for her new rolls she had to fit in with. Her posture was straight and cautious, her eyes constantly darted around, and every man that dared to look in her direction was met back with a murderous glare.

"Right...right Gem" whispered Hunter, his whisper to a level up in volume. Gemini immediately changed her course, which was leaning slightly to the left.

For a second perplexity ruled Gemini's face. It was the first time in months she had set her foot outside the Navy base. It was odd to see no military structure, no discipline or whatsoever.

At last their reached a small door tucked away in the shadows. Eerie characters came through it every now and then, and the pressurized hiss resembled a drum rhythm as it constantly open and closed for its occupants to pass.

"Through that door" she heard Hunter order. Gemini gave a small curt nod and trudged over to the door.

The door and the walls connection to it were a good shield blocking sound and movement to the outside, but once through the door, rowdy laughter and chatter took over their ears.
"Good, it seems we have missed the auction" said Hunter.
Gemini nodded as she looked around. Her eyes were narrowed, she crossed her arms. Her whole posture spoke of caution. It didn't look suspicious. A character that hangs out in the black market was always cautious, always one-step ahead.

"Try the booth over there" urged Hunter in a low voice. Gemini didn't reply but did as she was suggested. Slowly they trudged over to the circular booth, with two twileks occupying it. Space and Hunter's faces both wore bored expressions as if not really finding their area exciting. For Gemini she was just being her self by being as usually expressionless. Neither twileks noticed their approach, which irritated Gemini.

She slammed her hand flat against the surface with a load clap. This seemed to bring both twileks attention towards them.
"Can we help?" asked the one with the yellow tint to his skin. Gemini named him Yellow, and the one with the massive scar across his face was dubbed...Scar.
Yellow looked at Gemini with wide eyes, clearly resembling those new recruits that always arrived the barracks while Scar was lazily sucking on a long pipe.

A twitch made its way in Gemini's lip in the upper corner. She was irritated.
"Of course I'm looking help" she snapped with a volume surprising Hunter and Space as well, her voice was always soft and silent. The Twileks looked at her unfazed.
"What assistance do you require?" asked Scar, puffing smoke in the air.
"I'm want the list and programs of everything that was sold today, and will be sold," ordered Gemini as her fingers drummed against the cool surface.
"What do you need it for?" asked Yellow as he started shuffling through the datapads littering the booth. For a split second Hunter Gemini was going to freeze on the question, but she made a icy reply.
"My business to know, don't question me"
"I'm sorry---" Scar fell silent as Gemini's hold out blaster protruded on the surface held close to her body, Hunter's eyes darted to the guards to see whether or not they were not. Small relief escaped in a sigh. They were not. He found him surprised at the ease, which Gemini handled her self-considering her lack of a social life.

Credits soon made its way to the surface as well,
"your choice" said Gemini while Yellow and Scar stared at the credits hungrily before their eyes flickered to the pistol again. Fear was evident; Scar lost his cool demeanour and sat completely rigid in his chair. Gemini knew enough about a black market to know there would always be someone hungry for money, especially on an asteroid belt. Not only that, but it was a known fact that the workers at the black market were just as corrupt as its clients.

Minutes later they were trudging back to Chip, with a datapad gripped tightly in their in their hands.

Raigen boarded the Rough Ride and waited till no one was looking. He then doubled checked to see if the coast was clear and searched for a loose wall panel. He found it and ran his left finger along the crease. He pulled at the panel to reveal a wiring duct. Tangled in the wires were a R3 astromech droid and a B1 battle droid with dark, navy blue detailing and a storm trooper 2 carbine.

"Kaythree and OneBee. I thought you would sneak aboard. I thought I told you to stay on the destroyer, and how did you get into the wiring duct?" Raigen shook his head and pulled the droids out. "Sir, We thought the Navy could use our assistance," replied the battle droid. Raigen laughed. "Fine. One Bee, come with me. Kaythree, go run checks on all the ships, refuel them if you have to&and fix this panel." Raigen walked off with the battle droid and checked once more to see if the coast was clear.Sorry Chip, I gotta get this stuff, you'll thank me later! he thought as he made his way down the ramp.

Raigen left the hanger stealthily leaving Kaythree to do his work. He had to dodge behind a wall to avoid a fellow pilot. No one could know where he was going. Raigen flung the sniper around OneBee's torso and unbuttoned his holster and snuck his sport seven into his jacket. "OK Onebee! We need to avoid fellow pilots, if they see me out it's my head. Hold your gun down and look passive. Many pirates travel with battle droids for protection. Try to act inconspicuous. We have to find a weapons store."

Raigen departed from the hanger into the busy crowd. He spotted chip and quickly ducked behind a durasteel container, pulling OneBee with him. Chip was walking strait toward them, it was over now, all he could do was wait or make a run for it. Raigen suddenly had a stroke of genius. He whispered into OneBee's voice recognizer. After a moment or two, OneBee Struck Raigen on the head with his carbine. Raigen blacked out and Onebee dragged him along the streets into an alley. It was just another beating applied to a bloodied up criminal, and Chip suspected nothing.

Templar glanced around nervously as he stepped off the ramp of Rough Ride. the hangar was grimy, dirty, and infested with rough looking species of all kinds. He stared around with distaste at the various outdated machines and computers. What were these people living in, the stone age? He looked around at the other members in his squadron, some of which were sharing the same feelings as his own. As he glanced around he noticed Gemini stare at him with concentration on her face. After a few seconds she opened her mouth.

" Did you finish those dishes?" She asked

Templar scowled at her. He hated doing the dishes. Once all of the squadron was awake and ready to move chip explained who was in what group and each groups assignment. After the groups separated, Templar, Malo, Jmac headed down the street until they came across a battered, dirty, and very old building. It said " Jaren's Pub" on across a grimy window.

"Well, this looks like a good place to start. Once we get inside I'll talk to the bar owner. You guys look around for any others who might have some information. Stay close though, and in each others line of site. I don't want any of us to get separated." Jmac said. The trio walked in to see small room filled to the brink with rough looking men, and scantily clad women. The room was smoky and dimly lit, with tables set up all over the room, their were also holo sets in each corner. As they surveyed the room Templar saw a man who stood out from the rest due to the fact that he was nicely dressed and trimmed. He was wearing a number of trinkets and jewelry on his person.

"I'll see what I can get from that guy" templar said, and nodded his head in the man's direction.

"Ok, be careful and don't get yourself into trouble. Jmac said, and he and Malo made their way toward the bartender.

Templar walked up to the nicely dressed man and sat down in an empty seat in front of him.

"Can I help you with something?" the man asked in a cautious, yet smooth tone.

" I hope so." templar asked, trying not to let the nervousness in his voice show. " I was wondering if you've heard anything about... some stolen power generators of any sort lately.

" The man stared at templar for a second, sizing him up, before responding.

" I may have. Why? Are you looking to buy?

" I might. That depends, have you heard anything lately?

The man pulled a death stick out of his pocket.

"Want one?"

"No I'm ok" Templar said.

"Suit yourself." The man said, then suddently an alarm went off. The man pulled something out of his pocket, stared at it, then put it back and hastily stood up.

"I'm sorry. But I have a..meeting that I'm late for. Perhaps we can continue our discussion tomarrow here? Same time?" The man asked.

"Hm.. Sure." Templar said. Unfortuantly the  man didn't even wait for a response before he speed walked out the door of the bar.

Templar stayed were he was for a moment, thinking, until he felt a clap on his arm. He whirled around to see Jmac staring at him.

"So, how'd it go? He asked.

"nothing." templar responded.  "You?"

"Nope. Lets go find some more bars." Jmac said.

"Sounds like a plan." Templar said. Than the three walked out the door...

"Nice work Gem." Hunter whispered from behind her as they left the black market room. Interesting how her name can me a precious stone. "Head back to the ship." Stepping back a little, he let Gemini lead them back toward the hanger. This time, he wouldn't have to pay attention to where they were going and could examine their surroundings more closely. The crowds milling through the carved rock tunnels were made of many different species. He could pick out Ithorian, Twi-lek, Duro, Sullustan, and many others. The majority though was still human, if you could call them that. These men and women were the underbelly of the universe. None of them seemed friendly, and all of them carried some weapon, even if they were trying to hide them.

Scanning the neon-signs above bustling windows and doors, Hunter saw that a lot of the buildings were bars and saloons, only a few of which looked decent enough to eat at. Unfortunately, Hunter still felt a form of longing for it. Being a slicer meant you didn't always get the best pay in the universe. Also, some of the best clientele liked to meet in places like that. Stop it Ridley. You know you're better than that. Aren't you?

Other buildings displayed weapons, repair parts and items, food, ship parts, odd ends, and even vehicles. Hunter could see a speeder or two sitting in front of the shops. Looking down a side tunnel, Hunter ordered, "Duck." Gemini and Space immediately dropped down. Two transport speeders flew by over head, a little too low. "Idiot drivers." Hunter cursed and helped Gemini to her feet. I should have remembered that these places were big enough to have transportation like that.

"Was that a speeder?" Space gasped.

"Yeah, makes for quicker travel through these tunnels. This asteroid is quite big. You could wander through its tunnels for years and find something new everyday, even if it isn't always pretty." Hunter explained.

"They were flying low." Gemini remarked.

"They don't care if they hurt anyone." Hunter replied. "Let's get back to the ship." Pushing Gemini lightly in the back, she got the point and started to walk again. A little shocked about the close call before. I guess almost being decapitated for the first time does that. The rest of the walk back to the ship was uneventful, and they arrived a few minutes later. Stepping on board, they found that no one had arrived back from their respective mission.

  "No ones here." Space remarked.

"They wouldn't be. Their missions will take the rest of the day. Space stay here with this datapad," Hunter handed him the list they had procured from the black market tenants, but not before quickly copying the files to his own datapad. "Always make a copy. Keep a look out for the rest of the squad and keep the ship under gaurd. If Chip arrives, tell him we went out to look for more information."

"Yes, sir." Space responded. Hunter motioned for Gemini to exit the ship again.

As they were walking through the dirty hanger again, she asked, "What are we going to do?"

Hunter thought about that for a second before answering, "Visit some of the local shops. You never know. Those pirates may have put the generator on the legal market. Plus, while we're there, we can always see if there is anything interesting to buy." Hunter turned only his mechanical eye to look at her. She was giving him a quizzical look, but then a small smile went across her face as his little plan dawned on her. Our part is done for today, but that doesn't mean we can't still lay some nets of our own and have fun at the same time.

Raigen came to a couple minutes later. OneBee was keeping lookout. "I dindt mean for you to hit me that hard. Where did Chip head?" Raigen wiped the blood off his eyebrow and rubbed he mark on his head. The droid replied, "I don't know sir! I was busy incapacitating you." The droid turned to look around. "Wjere to, Sir?"

"To Jarenz's shop. It's just northeast of here I think." Raigen pulled himself up and looked aound. He could see Templar's group entering a bar and decided to take the alleys. He came to a large tunnel and stoped, it was empty. There was no one there are far as he could see. A small whirr alerted him to a building side camera that was following him. Raigen pushed OneBee into the alley before the camera could see it. "Hand me my sniper." He whispered as he swung the rifle ove his back. Raigen made a large caw sound that echoed off the opposite wall alerting the camera's sound recognition device and turning it away. It was destroyed before it could turn back towards Raigen.

OneBee ince again took the sniper and flung it over his back. Raigen decided it was best to have all weapons out and he drew his O-6. Raigen and the droid made there way down the tunnel until they came to a dead end. It was a solid wall with no markings. Raigen ran his hand along the wall until a small square in the wall recessed and fell away, leaving a keypad where it was. Raigen type in the 6 number code and a door in the wall appeared.

"Welcome to Jarenz's Weapon Emporium."

Gemini and Hunter walked alongside each other silence. Both caught up in their own thoughts. The silence didn't last long. Hunter noticed Gemini's doubt, as she looked around puzzled.

"What's wrong? He asked even though he had a suspicion as to what it may be. Hunter waited the traditional seconds off, used at Gemini's slow replies by now.
"I'm not sure what I want to do," she muttered softly, as she kept glancing around letting curiosity take the better off her.

Hunter grinned slightly,
"Want to visit the cantina, I'm dying of thirst," he said.
Gemini scrunched her face up,
"Cantina?"
Hunter's grin turned into a dumbfounded gape.
"You don't know what a cantina is?"

Gemini took a small sniff at the liquid placed in front of her. Hunter felt it was job as good friend to take her to the nearest cantina so she could have a drink. He seemed so relax in the rowdy crowd, his arms hung limply over chair leaning, but Gemini still didn't miss the small movements of his mechanical eye. He was still alert and cautious.

"Come on, its not that bad" urged Hunter her on with a short laugh. He inhaled the contents of his glass deeply, his shoulders visibly relaxed while he kept drinking.
Gemini cocked her head to the side as she attempted to study the glass from the side. But Hunter quickly snatched the glass away from her and held it up. Gemini suppressed a laugh at the boyish grin he displayed. She hasn't seen that before, in truth, she hasn't actually seen him when he was totally relaxed. Except when he slept, but even then he seemed tense. She unconsciously rubbed her wrists where he grabbed her.

"It's the same stuff, whether you drink it, study it from the right, from the left. It's the same stuff," he said. Gemini sighed.
"Fine" she muttered and attempted to grab the glass from Hunter who kept it on purpose out of her reach. He laughed at her frustrated frown.

They were about to leave when Hunter's ComLink went off.
"Hunter, where are you?" came Chip irritated voice over the tiny voice box.
"At a cantina, what's wrong?" asked Hunter worried, his posture went straight, and no slouch could be detected in his shoulders. Back to business again.

"Raigen disappeared, he talked about working on his own, and then he vanished. And I passed several authorities, and they all were talking about a camera being destroyed, sniper blast. I didn't catch all their orders, but search parties are sent out, five speeders as well. Raigen own a sniper. Keep a lookout on him, he heated think up to early. I never knew this place was so security tight, means someone is afraid..." Chip cut the connection before Hunter had the chance to reply.

"Trouble?" asked Gemini s the excited the Cantina.
"If Chip is correct, big trouble, lets go look for Raigen, we should try and find a security datapad, there would be a listing as to where this camera was destroyed" suggested Hunter.

Raigen entered the store quickly as the wall closed behind him and the Toydarian shopkeeper appeared. "Raigen, good ta see ya! What do ya need....I got some riot guns in eh?" The small keep flew over to him struggling to hold up an espo riot gun. "No thanks Jarenz...I need some items. Do You have an E-11 Heavy Blaster. and I need S-5 pistol and a 500 Repeating Gun. Some cryobans too. Putem on my tab eh?" Raigen passed him a list. The Toydarion jumped. "Great scot kid, You takin on an army or something. With this much firepower you could take over that mod corvette they just pulled in!"

Raigen was shocked."What about this corvette. Who has it?" he asked. Jarenz replied, "Hey man! some pirates got it and sent it out yesterday. They got a hideout on the opposite end of this tunnel, about one sixty kilometers in the opposite direction. Theyve got some weapons too. Theyve been buyin squad weapons and ammo all week. Preparing for something I'm sure, but I doubt they're there now. With the shot out in the tunnel and al. You really shouldnt use that rifle in public."

"How did you find out about all this?" Raigen stared he was now buying weapons from someone associated with the pirates."Can you tell me where they would go?" The Toydarion got the weapons and answered Raigen. "No man, no clue. Try the bars and shops. But stay clear of those camera's, the security units here have some put up. Did you want these to go or shouldI wrap them, eh?" The Toydaran laughed as Raigen pulled the weapons from him and gave them to OneBee who was straining under the weight. "Ill talk to you latr Jarenz, and keep this quit....I still have debts and i dont want the loan sharks on me eh?" It was a good cover up. Raigen was known to be a weapons collecter and the story fit. A weapon collecter sneaking onto an asteroid to buy some items and get out before old "freinds" could catch up with him.

Raigen waved goodbye to Jarenz and made his way back down the tunnel and down the alley. He was running at a slow jog despite being overloaded with weapons.Once in the alley he placed the pistols in his boot and the grenades in his vest. He then made his way back to the hanger for his scolding. Nevertheless, he found some valuble information and had enough weapons to keep any pirates that happened to turn up at bay. He ordered OneBee to walk six paces ahead of him to be less noticable.

As the Droid walked ahead, Raigen spotted some of his squadren members on the comlink. He decided to give the comlink a try but something was wrong. The Device started making static but then cleared and Raigen's eyes widened. His comlink was picking up security transmissions. He could here what souned like a twi' lek barking out posistions. Raigen looked arround and realized that they were looking for him. He threw the rifle he was carrying to OneBee whose hydrolics were almost shot. He then ducked into a nearby alley and changed the frequency of his comlink.

"Chip, come in. Come in Chip! This is Raigen. I know you're mad but listen. I have a B1 battle droid, yellow with navy blue detailing, he's coming to the hanger with a load of weapons for us. I'm being followed but I'm pretty sure they know nothing about him. Ill meet you a Hadrian's Wall Cantina in an hour, don't come with too many people or they'll catch on. Oh, by the way...You all look really obvious traveling in groups of threes!" Raigen clicked off the comlink and smashed it on the ground making sure he could not be tracked with it. He then slipped into the darkness of the alley.

Spacespeed9 looked around. He walked out from the hangar, and remembered something he needed to get. He looked around for a place to buy Proton Grenades and Impact Grenades, before realizing that there wouldn't be such a place out open in the public. His blaster carbine and a heavy blaster pistol were in holsters at his sides. He felt slightly abandoned, as he didn't know where to look for these stores, or who to ask. He went into the nearest cantina, even if it could be slightly dangerous, and relaxed into one of the seats. He decided to put off looking for a contact, and thought that this place could be a good place to start.

(OOC Uh, Raigen, none of us are walking in groups of three anymore. You really have to read more closely and stop power playing please. )

Before Hunter and Gemini ever reached a security terminal, Raigen's voice came over the comlink. "Chip, come in. Come in Chip! This is Raigen. I know you're mad but listen. I have a B1 battle droid, yellow with navy blue detailing; he's coming to the hanger with a load of weapons for us. I'm being followed but I'm pretty sure they know nothing about him. Ill meet you a Hadrian's Wall Cantina in an hour, don't come with too many people or they'll catch on. Oh, by the way...You all look really obvious traveling in groups of threes!" Obvious?! Who's the idiot running around with a battle droid? Those things are so out dated, they stand out like a Wookie in water. What did he have to go and shoot a camera, and even buy weapons in the first place at that? Shaking his head, Hunter changed direction and walked up to a closer terminal.

"Uh, that isn't a security terminal Hunter." Gemini pointed out.

"I know. Just keep a look out for Raigen if he comes this way. It seems he pissed off the local officials by shooting that security camera. Oh, and if you see a random battle droid running around, drag it over here." Turning to the terminal, Hunter quickly scanned the surrounding area for any officials. With out seeing one, he ducked down and opened the access panel on the side of the terminal. Luckily, the terminal was built into a small alcove, so anything he did was relatively hidden as long as Gemini stayed behind him. Pulling out one of his slicing tools he always cared, Hunter attached his datapad to the terminal and quickly tapped into the local feeds.

After finding the officer networks, he bypassed the security systems and started scanning for information. They really need to update their security codes. Hunter idly thought. Spotting Raigen's name, he pulled up the file and skimmed it. "See anything different out there Gem?" Hunter asked.

"A lot of officials have been through the crowd. If I look closely enough, I can see them almost everywhere I look." This was one of those times Gemini was able to get around her speech difficulties. Hunter speculated it had something to do with her emotions, but he wasn't about to tell her that. "What did that boy do to make him such a target?"

Unhooking his datapad, Hunter reattached the access panel and stated, "It isn't so much what he did, as how long it has been since anything like this has happened here." Hunter finished replacing the panel and stood up. "Even though this place looks like the armpit of the universe-and it is-most people who come here know not to cause trouble, at least not openly. I thought Raigen would have known that with his experience"

"How would you know what he's done?" Gemini asked as she fell in behind Hunter, who had started to leave the alcove.

"I'm a slicer. I find information, and keep it in the process."  Hunter replies coolly. "All we have to do is get Raigen back to the ship and keep him there for the next day while things cool down. They'll probably think he left the asteroid in a couple of hours and then just keep a look out for him." Hunter entered a side tunnel.

"Where are we going?" Gemini asked. She was starting speak slower again.

"Hadrian's, where Raigen told us to meet him." Hunter answered, turning down another alley.

Gemini followed quietly for a few minutes before asking, "Isn't that the other way?"

"Yes." Hunter entered a stair well and started to move to a higher level of the asteroid. Smiling, Hunter answered her next question before she asked it. "We don't want to seem suspicious. Someone might have seen us leave the same ship as that 'boy'. So, we have an hour to get there. Why don't we go shopping honey?" He put his arm around her waist and turned his head to look at her.

Startled, she asked, "Honey?" Hunter nodded to two officials walking toward them. Smiling, she pulled him to a store opening and asked, "Can't we go in here darling?"

"Anything you want." Hunter said, trying to keep the charade going as the officials stopped to look through the crowded street. Seeing a security guard look in their direction, Hunter pulled Gemini closer and kissed her. He didn't know what had made him do it or how long they stood there, but when they broke contact, the officials were gone and he felt the fool. "I, uh, well. . . you know. . . guards and all . . I just. . . um. . . let's keep going." Hunter tried to ignore the heat in his cheek and pushed into the crowd.

Gemini had a pleasant look on her face and looked quite pretty when Hunter glanced at her a moment later. Fool. She doesn't even look like anything happened. Idiot. It was just a cover. Stop blowing it out of proportion. Girls! They spent the next fifty minutes walking into random stores and shopping, all the while approaching the cantina in a round about fashion. Hunter felt uncomfortable the whole time, while Gemini still had that serene expression on her face. Finally, they were standing outside the cantina, but before entering, Hunter pulled out his comlink and attached a device he had created to prevent outside transceivers to pick up anything he said, mainly making whatever he said sound like gibberish.

"Chip, this is Hunter. Gemini and I are at the cantina. If you haven't sent everyone here already, pull them back to the ship. We'll get Raigen back to the ship one way or another with out being followed. Between me and him, I'm sure we can ditch security." Hunter kept his eyes skimming the streets as he spoke.

Chip's voice came through the speaker and said, "Templar and Jmac are already there. I can recall everyone else. If you guys aren't back in thirty minutes, we'll assume you've been caught and put into the local holding area. We'll talk more once you get back here about what everyone learned today."

"Roger, Hunter out." Clicking off his comlink, Hunter motioned for Gemini to follow him inside. It was a dark, smoky, crowded room, with a lot of unsavory sorts. It looked like the perfect place to go if you didn't want to be noticed. I wonder how long Raigen stayed on this asteroid. It seems he knows where everything is for the most part. Good thing I do to, now. Slicing is always a good tool. "You look that way." Hunter whispered to Gemini, and tilted his head to the left a fraction. Smiling like an angel, she moved away from him and headed toward one of the bars in that direction. Stop admiring her, and get your head together. Wrenching himself from the odd feelings, he walked down one of the aisles of booths, toward the refresher unit. If Raigen wasn't seated in this row, Hunter would be able to enter the bathroom like that was what he meant to do in the first place. Using his mechanical eye to scan the booths, Hunter was able to check them without turning his head. I hope we find him quickly. Even though this place looks like it hasn't seen decent folk ever, the officials will reach here eventually.

What...was...that!
Gemini stared at Hunter as he managed to stutter a half composed sentence, to caught up in embarrassment to think properly.
"I, uh, well . . . you know . . . guards and all... I just . . . um . . . let's keep going." Said Hunter. Gemini detected a red glow from cheeks. They hastily broke eye contact, and hurriedly fled into the crowd.

Gemini found hugs rare, but a kiss? Not in her life does she remember its presence. Except for when some random scum had too much to drink, and decided on Gemini as their next target. She shrugged puzzling thoughts off. It was an act. Nothing more.

"Chip, this is Hunter. Gemini and I are at the cantina. If you haven't sent everyone here already, pull him or her back to the ship. We'll get Raigen back to the ship one way or another with out being followed. Between me and him, I'm sure we can ditch security." Gemini noticed Hunter's eyes were constantly alert, and his free had been resting nonchalantly on his blaster.

Moment later Gemini could hear Chip familiar voice.
"Templar and Jmac are already there. I can recall everyone else. If you guys aren't back in thirty minutes, we'll assume you've been caught and put into the local holding area. We'll talk more once you get back here about what everyone learned today."

  "Roger, Hunter out."

They have been waiting now for nearly ten minutes. But still there was no sign of Raigen. Gemini found her self becoming more and more agitated with. Hunter was also showing signs of irritation and anger.

"How hard is it to lay low," he asked angrily after a few moments. Gemini looked around alert. For a second he forgot they had to lie low and his voice rose a couple of notches. She gave him a quick jab in the ribs.
"Calm down, let me get some drinks" Before Hunter had the chance to reply Gemini bolted from her seat to the counter.

"Just some water please" she ordered. For a few seconds the man looked flabbergasted at her.
"Water?" he asked. Gemini rolled her eyes.
I guess they don't serve a plain glass of water she thought to her self. Her eyes flicked to the holo menu to see the other options, but before she could settle on a choice she felt her self being grabbed by the one arm.

"You are the girl who were on the same ship as that other guy," a skinny looking Twilek dressed in some form of military style looked at her. She tried to wrench her arms from his grip.

"What guy?" asked Gemini slowly and hesitant .She had no idea what he was talking about.
"The one who sniped the security cam" Then it dawned on her.
Raigen
She continued playing dumb.
"Burt, come have a look at this, looks like her, what ya think?" called the Twilek over. From the over crowded booths the human Burt made his appearance.
He seemed to be the dominant between the two them.
"Definitely, lets see if she has some answers, take her to the cells, there is bound to be more of them"" ordered Burt.

The Cantina seemed unfazed as they tied her. She ignored looking into Hunter's direction, knowing if her captors saw who she was looking at, it would only end up with Hunter bounded as well.
Frakked Raigen!
She started struggling with all her might, but it only earned her a heavy blow to her head rendering her unconscious.

"You answer, we question, sounds fair?"
Gemini looked up tiredly. A look at the clock told her she has been out for a few hours. She tried to sit upright, but a pain emitting from her ribs made gasp for a breath.

A dim light was swinging from side to side above her, suspended by a durasteel chain. She was chained to the wall; her wrists were encased in large shackles.
The whole room were covered in shadows making it difficult for her to see if there were more in the room.
A burly Twilek sneered at her, while his eyes roamed over her, filled with suppressed lust.  Gemini stiffened.
"Sounds fair?" he asked again, this time however his question was accompanied with blow to her ribs.
Gemini managed a tiny smirk when pain shot through her body. She stifled a snicker as she shut her self down from the pain. Something she taught her self when she was placed in experiments at the rebel laboratory.

"The silent type? We'll get you talking, just ya wait," said the twilek smirking in glee.
Dammit Hunter, where are you? she thought to her self as Hunter's face popped up in her mind instinctively.

Spacespeed9's comlink suddenly vibrated. He picked it up, and recieved the incoming message. At first, it sounded like gibberish, then he pulled out the pocket scrambler, and attached it onto the comlink. The gibberish cleared as the scrambler began its work, and soon, a clear voice broke through

" Spacespeed, you need to return to base. repeat, return to base [/I"]

" Copy that. Spacespeed9 out " He said, and he placed the comlink back into his pocket.

He casually walked out of the cantina, and began heading back to the hangar. On the way, though, he was stopped by a group of thugs.

"Hey, stop right there, pal."

Spacespeed9 spun around, and saw 2 or 3 thugs, with their blasters pointed at him.

"What do you want?"

"Just wondering if you were one of the people who came on that ship that just landed. If you are, we have a few .... questions to ask you."

He noticed a speeder coming in straight behind the thugs.

"No,"He lied, "but you might want to look behind you."

The thugs looked, and ducked. He also ducked, and used this event as a diversion to run behind a corner. Fortunately, the hangar was right ahead. He heard the thugs shout,"Hey, watch where you're driving... What the... where is he???"

Spacespeed9 got back into the hangar, safely.

Raigen was standing in the corner of the cantina, casualy leaning against the wall. He had snuck onto the Rough Ride in the past hour and dawned his scout armor which he had painted bounty hunter black onboard the Atrus. His sniper was safely on the ship and his only weapon was his O-6. Raigen looked around amd saw Jmac and Templar. They probably thought they could ambush me! he thought. Raigen recognized Gemini and laughed. There act in the street was anything but convincing. In fact he would say that it tipped the authorities to their presence. Not as much as Raigen's antics, but enough. Raigen had a nice little chuckle until his fears came true. He saw Gemini being attacked by a group of officials.

"What the..." he exclaimed as Gemini was attacked. He looked at Jmac and Temlar. They were twiddling their fingers. Raigen pushed his way through the crowd which was a difficult task. By the time he was in firing range, Gemini was out cold. Raigen had a dead lock on the head of a Twi' lek who looked like the leader but put his gun away and turned back toward Jmac and Templar. He thought for a second and realized that Hunter would be the better choice given the circumstances. He searched around quickly and spotted him at the bar. He once again pushed his way throiugh the crowd and grabbed Hunter by the shoulders and spun him around.

Raigen did nothing but point to Gemini who was being dragged away.

"What the!...Who are you?" Hunter exclaimed as he tried to break for Gemini.

Raigen held him back by his shirt and struggled to keep his balance. "No, it's too late for that Hunter. We need to find Chip!"
Raigen sighed and removed his scout helmet.

(OOC: Okay...I'm really not one to rag on people usually...but, Raigen, quit this shitty god-moding, ignorant writing. You don't seem to follow others' posts well and you make yourself look too damn good. You aren't some bloody soldier for one...remember? You're a pilot. Quit the heroic deeds, especially when your character doesn't seem to have strong connections with Gemini to begin with. Not to be an asshole, I'm trying to help. However...)

Rusty walked through the brightly lit hallways, carrying most of his few belongings in one great paw. His Ryyk blades were slung over his back as usual when out of uniform and clinked quietly as the furry humanoid scanned the doors for his room number. He took up most of the hallway and a small droid twittered about his head and shoulders humming softly to itself. Wow. It has been a while. These hallways spark so many memories...so many distant memories. The massive wookiee had quit his time with the Empire and faded into discreet existence. He had spent most of his time traveling and getting intoxicated. He was always intoxicated...it was just one of those things about him that others had to accept.

Rusty was back now, though. He had quickly grown tired of his existence out of the Empire. Mostly because it was just that...merely existence. When Rusty flew and fought for the Navy he felt that his life had essance instead of mere existence. He looked up when he saw an odd glare on a metallic surface. A plaque read "Room 237B". Well...here I am...this is my room. The wookiee opened the door and saw a small, modest room with one bed that was a bit too small for someone of his size. Rusty quickly packed away his belongings and changed into uniform. As usual...it was a comical sight because the uniform was too small and clung tightly to his massive body, fur spewing out from under the cloth. This is home...I have come home.

(OOC: I know this doesn't really further the story...but I figured I needed to make some sort of entrance.)

"We need to find Chip!" echoed in Hunter's head. He didn't know how long he stood there, struggling against Raigen, before he came to his senses. Gemini had already disappeared with the two men that took her, while Jmac and Templar were still somewhere else in the cantina. Grabbing Raigen's arm that was holding Hunter's shirt, Hunter pulled free and spun around.

"Where did you get that armor?" Hunter snapped. "And why did you stop me? We could have taken them."

"Hunter, you don't know how many of them are in here. You should know that you can judge things by their appearance in these types of places. Don't let a girl blind you." Raigen tried to talk sense into Hunter. "And I got this armor back at the Rough Ride."

"If you snuck on to get it, why didn't you just meet Chip there? Then none of this would have happened." Hunter prodded.

Raigen paused a second. "I was trying to lure the people who were after me out. I didn't know that they had Gemini's description also."

"Well, you lured them out all right. Let's get Templar and Jmac and get back to the ship, before more of us get arrested. You might want to put that helmet back on." Hunter advised than merged into the crowd. Weaving between people and dodging through gaps, Hunter found Jmac and Templar a minute later, near the entrance to the Cantina. "And why didn't you two do anything?"

"What are you talking about, and why do you have a Bounty Hunter at your shoulder?" Templar asked.

"It's Raigen, and Gemini's been arrested. Never thought they could arrest someone for being seen around someone. You and Jmac should get back to the ship. Raigen and I will meet you there. It's better if we split up. We can all discuss what happened once we get to the ship." Everyone nodded. Hunter and Raigen let Jmac and Templar leave the cantina first. Waiting a few minutes, they slipped through the exit and into the shadows. Having both lived on the darker side of society; they knew how to get around. Hopefully, the trip back would be uneventful.

Raigen dawned his scout helmet again as they entered the shadowy alley way to the right of Hadrian's. The alley was walled in on the far right by a thirty foot wall made of solid durasteel bricks sealed together permanently. This alley was one of the long, seemingly endless tunnels that Asteroid Prime, or AP as pirates and smugglars usually called it, was famous for. Raigen looked around to see if anyone was following them. His right hand hovered over his O-6 blaster pistol. Raigen had acuired an acute taste for Naboo weaponry that had, since he joined the Navy, grown into a passion. Raigen looked aound once more and decided to make conversation to pass time.

"We uh...We shouldv'e gone first. That way, if we got ambushed, Jmac and and Temp coulda helped. Now we could all be in danger." Raigen's voice was echoed softly in the helmet and his breathing was magnified and louder. It annoyed him somewhat but complaining would just create more echo's.

"Too late for shoulda's and coulda's now Raigen. Let's just get back to Chip so we can find Gemini." Hunter said with a detectable sence of irritation. Raigen wondered if he was irritated with him or the fact that Gemini was captured. A horrible vision of Gemini being tortured flashed through his mind. He knew all too well what AP authority did to prisoners.

Neither of the pilots were keen on where the conversation was going or focused on the task at hand for that matter. Hunter was only half-listening while Raigen was worried about an ambush. Nevertheless, Raigen kept the smalltalk going to calm his nerves which had been decomposing since he was about ten. "Have you been with Aegis long?" Raigen asked.

"Long enough. But it's not the time you spend with a group, it's the time you spend with the people in the group. You gotta be friends with your allies or the squadron becomes a thing instead of people and pilots start thinking of themselves as just...whats the word?" Hunter seemed to be focused on the conversation a little more as he searched for the end to his insightful answer.

"Another brick in the wall! My mother used to say that, before she died. It's all I remember of her." Raigen tried to fight back a long lost memory but it was useless. His mind wandered to Tatooine. He remembered how the hot sand felt beneath his feet, How the suns would beat down upon his back. It felt like rays of warmth. Sometimes, it was even refreshing to have the dual suns looking over your shoulders. Some cursed the two suns, but Raigen praised them. "We are bricks Hunter, we all are!"

"True Raigen, but together, we are a wall. And if a brick feels to much like a single brick, he ight fall off and make a hole." Hunter said. They had both put asside their previous thoughts and were now totally focused.

"You're pushing it Huntz! Philosophy is spur of the moment, not continuous!" Raigen laughed as they made their way down the alley. They were half of the way back but still had about a mile or so to go. It would take less time if they hadn't chosen the longer, less noticible route, well Raigen pointed the longer route out ad Hunter conceded after a short debate.

"I was referring to you. Where dod you go anyway?" Hunter asked. He seemed to be more in tune now although he was obviously thinking of Gemini. Raigen knew what he was thinking too, This wouldn't have happened if he had stuck with the plan. Raigen knew what he did was risky, but he found out where some of the pirates were, even if they had no chances of defeating them.

"I went back on board the rough ride and heard something in the wall pannels. I checked, and there was my droids, tangled in the wires. I got em out, and sent Kaythree to complete my rders, they weren't really order as much as a freindly suggestion. So with that taken care of, I left to get some weapons. I thought we might need them. The rest is...well you know. I came across some information but I'd rather run it by when we are all present. Hey Hunter, if something happens, have...just rerun OneBee's video records, that should clear everything up." Hunter nodded when Raigen finished.

A mynoc rushed in front of them as they walked and was followed by and inraged scurrier who zigzagged down the alley at lightning speed. "Did you ever see that before?" Raigen joked as the scurrier ran head first into a trash bin while his prey ran off into the darkness. The lid of the bin popped up and flipped three times before falling on the walkway and rolling into the wall. This alerted the to as they looked up from the scurrier to a pack of uniformed security guards armed with riot guns. There were six in all.

"You take three, I'll take three!" Raigen said as a last joke. He looked for a way out but it was to no avail. Raigen and Hunter were cornered and overpowered. They could only hope for an escape.

Drip...drip...drip
Thoughts counted with each splatter the drop of water would make as it fell from an unseen opening. The floor it self were absorbed in murky water, making it perhaps best to stand against the wall, while rats tried to gnaw at steel strong imperial boots. The damp air were clogged with stank of previous life, now retired to the havens of a grey death.
Raw breathing rasped from Gemini's dry throat. She was sitting in water, with her knees drawn to her face, her head resting on her arms. They didn't get much from her, not that she knew off, even she after a while couldn't resist the torture inflicted to her.
It was a few minutes since she woke up in this...

Dump...frak it
Her green eyes narrowed, her hair dye didn't work that great either. It was wash out dye, she read the label wrong when she bought the bottle, and slowly but surely azure strands were showing through her dark hazel hair.
Before she could think of something new to curse at, her cell door opened with a loud clang before it screeched and waved through the water against the stone floor.
"Got ye sum company, thought ya might like em" muttered the slight intoxicated guard dragging an unconscious form through the door. His unshaved face cracked in a toothless smirk before the door clanged shot again.
Ignoring the searing pain, Gemini stood up, her curiosity and worry spiked by the crumpled form in front of her.  Blond hair caked blood was all she could make out in unlit room, the only light coming from the barred window in the rusted copper door.

Hunter!
Gemini rushed to his side knowing the only guy with blonde military cut hair was her Executive Commander. She cradled his head into her lap. A large bruise with a cut in the core were present, blood still ran down the side of his head in a thick oozing river.

"Hunts...Hunts!" Gemini shook him softly, but all reply she got was a groan, with the poor light, she couldn't see the further extend of the injuries he attained. Gemini sighed frustrated and suddenly winces when her ribs protested against the sighs.
Great, got a few broken or cracked ribs as well,

Seeing there was nothing that could be done till hunter woke up or the door opened, Gemini was obliged to make Hunter as comfortable as possible. She leaned her self against the wall, and rested Hunter head on her lap to avoid the cut being infected by the puddles of water. She teared a piece from sleeves and tenderly bandaged his head. All that was left to do was wait. Gemini looked down worried to where Hunter laid unconscious in her lap. It must have been a intense fight, or whatever happened to knock him out. Left with nothing but her thoughts, increasing fewer and blazing pains across her body Gemini dozed off to join Hunter's anguish of unconsciousness.

_______________________ Before Gemini's Post ______________________________

It's just my luck. We just couldn't get back to base without something happening. But why are the authorities so bent on capturing Raigen. Hunter couldn't help but think about it as Raigen and he slowly kept backing down the alley. Then it dawned on Hunter. They think we're part of the pirates. The people we're after probably are already on the local official's bad side, and now they think we're part of them. Too bad they won't believe us if we tell them we aren't, and we can't afford to blow our cover if we ever want to capture one of the pirates. Either that, or the pirates are suspicious of Raigen and are using the locals as their lapdogs. The pirates may have infiltrated the local official system. This whole asteroid may not have any real government on it at all. That just leaves two choices. Hunter whispered so softly that he could barely hear himself. "Run or pray. Which one do you want to do?"

There was a moment's pause as Raigen seemed to consider their odds either way. "If we run, we probably only have a twenty percent chance of making it back down this alley without being killed." Raigen whispered back. "If we stand our ground and pray, we have a five percent chance of living, and that's only if someone comes to help us."

Hunter nodded. "Then there is only one thing to do. You run, I'll stay. I'll distract them long enough for you to get far enough down the alley that you have a shot at getting away."

"Stand still and put your hands in the air." One of the guards ordered.

"But they'll kill you. I'm the one they're after." Raigen stopped moving. "So you go."

"It's better they not get you. I doubt the officials on this asteroid are really on the side of justice. We want everyone to stay off balance as much as possible, and if they get you, they will hole up so tight there won't be a chance to capture one of the pirates. Just get back to the ship." Hunter grunted. "I'm telling you to as your higher officer."

Raigen looked Hunter in the eye. Hunter could see he didn't completely understand. Each of them had shady pasts and different ways of doing things, but this one time, Hunter knew he was right. He felt it in his gut. They both waited with arms held high until the guards were only feet away. Then, they both sprang into action at the same time. Raigen got two shots off before dashing down the alley. Both flew true and hit two guards, one in the knee and the other in the head. Meanwhile, Hunter pulled out his blaster and fired at a third of the guards while he threw himself bodily into the last three.

Holding as many of them as he could, Hunter ignored the pain erupting in parts of his body that the guards beat with anything they could grab. The last image Hunter saw before he was hit in the head was Raigen running full tilt down the alley. The guards would never catch up. Hopefully, Raigen wouldn't run into any more trouble.

(OOC Well, that's how I got captured. Hopefully the rest of you can get me and Gemini out of that cell. )

Spacespeed9 was able to get back to his quarters. Other people saw him, but he was mostly ignored. He checked to make sure everything was in place. Good, he thought, Everything's in place. At least nothing was broken or stolen .

Wonder how Hunter's doing. I haven't heard a message from him in a relatively long time. But it's too dangerous to go out and look for him. That could get myself captured as well. He sighed. Might as well as scan for incoming messages. He took out a communication scanner, plugged the descrambler in, and listened.

After a while, he thought, This is hopeless. Hunter's either trying to keep communication slience, which wouldn't be such a bad idea here, or he's in really big trouble. He walked out from the ship, but not away from the hangar.

Raigen was running out of time. Hnter and Gemini were captured and if they were followed on a empty alleyway, then Jmac and Templar didn't have a chance. These were times Raigen would rather be smuggling mineral water down the Rampa Rapids, but as a pilot in the VEN duty came first. Raign was now on a navy blue speeder bike heading for the docking bay in his civilian clothes.

Templar and Jmac somehow made it back to the bay unharmed. I guess they really do want just me, which would mean that... Raigen aproached Chip reluctantly awaiting his scolding. "Hunter has been captured, along with Gemini. They flanked us on our way over and he ordered me to run."

"Now you take orders! Your droid told me everything except where you went for those weapons. Why do these people want you so bad?" Chip asked. Raigen waited a second, his left shoulder had become numb, he turned his head and saw the blood

"They want me for a visi I made here a couple years ago. I uh....shoved the barrel of my sniper though a pickpocket's stomach...heh! I guess he was popular. So they must want retribution. That's all I can think of at any rate... listen, these copos don't use conventional methods of torture. They cal them surgeons! I gotta freind name Derron who got a toe cut off during interigation. We gotta find them!" Raigen felt somewhat responsible for all of this, maybe cause he was.
