The only problem I had with the java chat was that Kadbot kept saying that I had changed colors, but I didn't, it was mere black, or so I thought. I had accidently hit the color black. If you do that, just close down the window for java chat, and hit agree again. The default color should now be on. This is only for people who have this problem. Thanks to Garet who helped me out. ~_^ |

Help! I cant connect for some reason... in 1 room! In the other it's fine! plus some times when I connect for some reason - "Software caused disconnection"or something. I tried uninstalling it then reinstalling it but its the same  HELP! PLEASE! -----------------------

Jag just fixed it I think =). He was on and celebrating but if it continues to not work, perhaps the firewall? Not sure really though I'm supposed to be computer/politics oriented, im not good at either... -----------------------

Yes trouble with mIRC again. the 30 day period is up and now i cant connect. So i though if it would matter if i tried downloading it again but with a different country? |

the 30 days limit are not the problem, try using javachat, if it works, then there's something wrong with your setting.

Make sure XP's built-in firewall is turned off. I don't know what ports are enabled (Talon could give more info here), but sometimes you can try ports other than 6667, such as 6660-6669. You should also try restarting your PC before anything else. -----------------------

Well...yesterday one or more servers were down. t?he people who didn't use javaChat couldn't connect. java was the only way to get on IRC. -----------------------

renji still cannot log on using Java Chat which I find odd.
