first: a day is not a day, its a freaking commandment, cant remember wich, my mind tells me fifth, but that might not be right, it says the seventh day, now obvioulsy anyday can be the seventh, except that acording to the catholic callender sunday is the first day of the week, saturday is the seventh, the last, it is ment that way because on the seveth day God rested after creation.

now if this starts it will never stop, i dont want to piss people off, thats why i didnt want to go into religion at all, alos i think theres a CoC about it. religion dosent have anyplace in the this club and as i said before each mans religion is his own and nobody elses concern, per se.

Here's my thinking: yes, the Bible says "seven days." But how do we know that seven of God's days are the same as seven of our days? For all we know, it could be seven billion of our years equals seven of his days. As mere mortals, we have no concept of what eternity must be like. Kind of like in "Star Trek Generations," in that "Nexus of Joy," where they say that "time has no meaning here." So, it's possible that God used evolution, guiding it with His hand, over the course of billions of years. And because he is immortal, and probably percieves time differently, it's possible that it felt to him like seven of our days to us. Then when he inspired the authors (and translators) of the Bible, it came out as seven days.

Also, Jesus said something about all the old laws passing away; that you didn't have to go through any of the rituals, ceremonies, or sacrafices to cleanse yourself of sin anymore, because he sacraficed himself to pay all of our debts for us. So it doesn't matter so much about being dead-strict about following a certain schedule, we just ought to remember all the wonderful things that have been done for us, and it's nice to set a day aside for worship and reflection.

Sometimes it does get confusing; there are so many different ideas on how to worship. I think it's a shame that some people get to be on the verge of beating each other, sometimes on things as small as how to take communion, what communion means, or even whether or not to have music in church. I personaly have been to a few different churches, and have seen both good and bad ideas. But I think that the most important thing is that we all worship God and follow Jesus Christ. There may be thousands of denominations out there, but as long as we follow Jesus, we are all brothers and sisters in Him. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only son; that whosoever believeth in him shall not perish, but have everlasting life."

erg, old i think, old testimate is still perfectly legit, even though many of the customs may have been changed, lots of the basis and morals are still perfectly good, the Jesus didnt change the commandments, and something like that and creation wouldnt have changed with Jesus' coming.

i dont go to church, and those witnesses keep coming back no matter how many times you tell them to go away, believe me i was nice at first, surprisingly nice, but after endure 16 years of them coming back atleast once a month, the mormens i can understand, each person realy only comes to your house once, so they have no idea what they're about, but the damn witnesses, its the same two old ladies everytime, i finaly gave up being nice.
