"i wanna be a stormtrooper" if you dont have it contact me, i dont think its even owned by anyone in particular, unless your squemish about it, but i think you are aloud to use it for something like this anyway, if you've ever heard it you'd see why it would be perfect, even if you only used part of it. -----------------------

Eh, personally I think the Imperial March would be the best. It's just a classic, and it still has the right feel to it for what we probably want to portray. -----------------------

I don't know, I think of the Imperial March more as impressive than evil. Anyways, the best one I could think of for us would be... that one at the end of episode 2 when they have the Theme of the Republic intermingling with the Imperial March. -----------------------

I changed my mine, go with Imperial March. But, use the one that Metallica remade. It is on the game Force Commander, but the version on the game isn't as good as the one to download. Either than or pick some other StarWars song that someone remade. We could also screw with a few StarWars songs, and mix em together. I don't know how to do it, but It would be cool. -----------------------

I've got an idea. What about having a bunch of scenes with Rebels being slaughtered and executed, while playing Linkin Park's "In the End." Then show cool scenes of Imperials with the Imperial March? -----------------------

Yea well i think the Slaughtering of the Rebels MIGHT not be the best thing. The into has to get the attention of the person, it has to be cool, good/fitting music, and then something that reflects the Vast Empire.

My vote is pretty much with "I Wanna Be a Stormtrooper" because it is public domain.
Public domain is good.
Keeps us out of legal trouble.
If there have been other public domain suggestions I apologize but I don't have a very comprehensive list of public domain songs.
Or even heaven forbid we can even try and come up something original. Someone in this org has to know a band somewhere that they can get to help us out. -----------------------

Well, I still think we should stick to classical style music. Newer stuff basically gives the idea of a bunch of punk kids who don't take it seriously. Heck lots of classical music is public domain, and I'm sure we can find something we like. The important thing is just that it sound impressive, that's what first time viewers are more likely to relate to. -----------------------

I have two songs from two different styles... Carol of the Bells-Orchestra, or a song from Linkin Park-alternative... Those are the two ways I would end up going... Then I would time the frames to the beat of the music...
And I'm not quite sure how I would go about getting executions of rebels... But I think I might try to get Flash. That would be nice... But it's like 700 or 800 dollers... And I might be too lazy to save my money... That and I think I would get a new computer before I ever got flash. That way I'll just have an actual graphics computer... I just gotta find a place that I can make more money than I do. Lol. -----------------------

There's an awsome version of the Greatful Dead's "Fire on the Mountain" on their new album, The Closing of Winterland. It's a 4-disc set created from extremely high-quality tapes of their concert at Winterland, on some New Year's Eve in the late 70's. They supposedly played with such force, that plaster was raining down from the ceiling. It's said to have been their best concert ever. -----------------------

I agree, Imperial March has been quite overused in the internet. Almost every starwars site that you visit, has the imperial march as their domain song. Gets quite annoying at times. -----------------------

Ok so imperial march is out. But how about the music played at the end of episode two. Where it is the imperial march florish then goes into the love theme and then the ending music. And when it ends it does the circle thing and then credits and off the the main page. -----------------------
