Start checking your email a little more often, Squall. You'll actually find some goodies in there every so often.
Also, if you want to actually see some members and participate in some interactivity, email me and I can send you an older version of mIRC (chat program).
I would do the gaming portion if only we had more active members. Thus far, you're pretty much the only one active enough to be seen doing anything, and I'm very close to scraping those who have not reported in as of late (*hint*)

Ok sounds good. I can't even download MIRC because I am on a Mac. I hate the fact that I can't download the Chat service on my macintosh in school. Unfortunently, I don't have a comp at my home establishment at the moment. It has crashed, and the internet won't work. Something is wrong with the modem, and I am looking into getting it fixed. -----------------------

Well, our school doesn't let us download things. Actually, it does. We can download ANYTHING we want, but the problem is that we can't use it. A few years back I tried to download the Jedi Outcast Demo 2.0 for my Mac, and it didn't work. I tried to play it, and it wouldn't work. Not enough access privelages.
But, we have quite a ditz of a computer teacher. I was looking at her hands one day, and I figured out her password. She was quite stupid, and made it her first name. I was on her name, and it will let me into System Access. I can't get onto the Admin Server, because I need to be the schools Server Administrator.
Another thing that is bad about our server, is that when it goes down, all of the schools computers go down. I was in the computer lab one day, and all of a sudden, the server went down. I tried it, and it came back up. Within the next 10 minutes, the server crashed again. As a matter of fact, I was in the in-school suspension the other day, and my server went down also. My little computer had a better connection, and I had the server while the office didn't. They actually came in to ask me what was going on, and I told them I was working on my History project. They said that I could use the computer as long as I wanted, and that I had to return it when I was done. They were quite stupid to let me do that, because I had my way with it for the rest of the day. I was on Yahoo Pool, jacking up my rating. I was on the Vast Empire for a total of 5-6 hours. My friend was sick that same day, and we were looking at our Messenger thingys. He was on, and so was I. We tried to get to eachother, but the timing was way off.
Sorry about this big rambling, I just wanted to explain how my school's server thing won't let me use mIRC in school. Soryy that I can't get on IRC as much as I can get on the comnet. Right now, its midnight, and I am getting quite sleepy. I think I will go to bed, wake up, and get back on. Well, off I go. -----------------------

I'm making a new "thing" in Drill. I believe I will make it so that when the recruits first come in, the very first thing that they must do is complete a character bio. Something that will get the creative juices flowing.

wow..this post is really dead..
its been dragging slowly on since October last year..which is very impressive..though i imagine damm frustrating for everyone actively participating in the squad
Umm btw, who are Drill squads members? Is there a roster someplace? Cause this place is kinda big and confusing 
I like the idea of character bios, it should help with storyboards. Means that we'll be able to talk more about other team members, with a greater level of detail.
I dunno if this is where i should be asking but what kind of training do you go through when you choose a military speciality? And does this impact on your squad placing if there is already someone with your skill in the squad?
does that even make sense? hehe...

it dosent realy change where your put for a squad, and your training is just Spec stories you write, i believe ther is a list of subjects you have to finish writeing about for each specialty before you can move up to the next, go to the RAIDERs spec stories in the army story board, those should give you a good idea of what thats like. -----------------------

Theres never too many questions. Hell I still have questions and I've been around for the better part of 4 years. Yes there is a Drill Squad roster. It is under the Resources Tab on the Navbar, "online roster" is what you click on, then on Stormtrooper Corps roster, and all the way at the bottom right above the ARCS. (heh i like that, Drill above ARCs  ) is the Drill roster. Also if you need help getting used to the writing I can help you. -----------------------

You can check out ID lines, medals, ranks, etc. on the Army Manual (accessed via the Stormtrooper Corps website).
As for being inactive, yes we have been because we've only had 2 recruits: one on leave and the other inactive. With the new shipment of recruits we've had, I'm sure that the activity will up itself.
Anyway, I'm still anxiously waiting to see those bios, so write them up and let me know when you finish. If you'd like, send them to me for red-pen work. Liquid would also be a good choice for some red-pen jobs if you want another beta reader.

All of you other Drillets must do the same. Drill isn't a regular active-duty squad. This is merely an evaluation squad, where you peeps are evaluated by myself, and I'm not liking what I'm seeing thus far. Only Private First Class kaMi has proven to be active-duty squad material. The rest of you have something to prove.
I want a character bio in my email by this Sunday. If I don't hear from you by then, an AWOL check will be deployed, and we'll see who's been shining their boots, and who's ready to swim in some bantha poodoo. -----------------------

one thing Cos, i dont normaly invade squad topics, but you guys have been on a few of the all army missions (ord Durral, Fresia, Alzoc III) so in theory you'd be in chapter 8 wouldnt you? dosent matter sence we'll never get to see it anyway. -----------------------
