LoneWolf sat in the sim room with the rest of Aegis squadron, all except Sk8guy at least. The clock was ticking precious moments away, and LW began considering starting the mission without his commander. "OK guys I know were one short, and Sk8guy wouldn’t like us to start without him here but we gotta go." The Anxious pilots looked at the screen in the room showing  the current ESC score. "We’re getting beat. Get in your cockpits were starting!" LoneWolf watched Liquid, and Jmac get in their Simulator cockpits then closed the hatch. He waited a moment to see his commander get through the door, and realized that he would come in due time. With less hesitation the Dark Jedi Knight slooped into the cockpit then put on his headset as the capsule closed shut. The dim lighting added excitement into everyone’s motives then the sim began loading. LoneWolf gave last finally orders to everyone, "OK we’ll go as first plan and charge into the rebel fleet from the Devastator; Zakath you’ll fly with Liquid, and Jmac until Sk8guy gets here. Once we get into the fray split up into that order. Other than that," LoneWolf looked around as the sim was ready to launch, "Burn some rebels for Wolfie’s sake! Lets launch Aegis!" the screen all around LW flashed up, and his nimble Tie Interceptor launched off from the labeled Imperial Star Destroyer Devastator. Aegis Squadron began its approach to the already cramped fleet, star ships were firing at each other and fightres scattered out. LoneWolf gripped the control stick tightly imagining a massive strike on Home One. "no we got more important fish to fry." LoneWolf scanned furiously for all the squad leaders, including Gold Leader. Aegis was the last wave in the ties as they all rushed at the outnumbered rebels. LW waited to order the break up as all the fighters intertwined in a beatiful yet deadly dance. "Break off into flights Aegis lets fry some Ties!" (OOC: I'm sorry sk8 but we NEED to start posting!)   ----------------------- EFL/ESN Lonewolf/Aegis 2-1/mSSD Atrus/DEF/VEN/VE/(=A=)(=SA=)(=JCPA=)(=SCPA=)[SRC][VC:Ebony] CM/DJK LoneWolf/Sith/Eagle Sect/VEDJ Army character: Ares "Burn Your Eyes!"

Rogue felt the hatch close and lock down on the spherical TIE simulator that he was sitting in, as he powered up the simulator’s systems. The flat black image in front of him dissolved to the view port of a Tie Interceptor, called a squint by the Rebel pilots. It had been the premier fighter of the Empire at the time of the Battle of Endor. Rogue made sure his simulated ship’s systems were ready for flight and combat. His ship was simulated to be in the belly of the ISD Devastator at the moment. Any minutes now they, the members of Aegis squadron, all in simulators, would be launched to participate in the battle of Endor. They were being put in after the deflector shield had been taken down and the Executor destroyed. There mission was to stop Lando Calrissian and Wedge Antilles from destroying the Reactor Core this time. As he waited for launch, Rogue thought back to the real battle of Endor. He had been in that desperate fight, only flying for the Rebels though. It had been one of his first major battles as a pilot with the Rebellion. Heck, it was one of the earliest major things that he could remember. He could only remember back to waking up on a Rebel Nebulon-B hospital frigate during the time between the famous battles of Yavin and Hoth. He had been on they very same frigate that Luke Skywalker came to, to get his replacement hand fitted. It was with that section of the Rebel fleet that Rogue learned to fly fighters, X-wings in particular.  As for the Endor fight, he had enough skill and the Rebellion was desperate enough for pilots for him to be assigned to Wedge Antilles’ Red Group. Rogue was one of the Red Group pilots who stayed outside the Death Star dealing with Tie’s while Wedge and Lando made the reactor run. “How ironic it is,” Rogue thought to himself as his squint rotated into launch position in the ISD’s main hangar bay. He could now get to see how good Wedge Antilles and Tycho Celchu really were, or as well as the computer could simulate them. He was glad that it was only a simulator run in case the computer did a good job of simulating the two Rebel aces. He heard the launch command and felt his squint drop free from the launch cradle, so he dove out of the Devastator’s hangar bay and back into the desperate battle known now as the Battle of Endor.

Liquid smiled inwardly as the Tie Interceptor he was in dropped free of the bay of the ISD. Liquid was amazed at how real it felt, and how much he could still tell wasn't real. "It's nothing like an Advanced," Liquid said over his comlink, "but, it'll have to do." Liquid pushed his throttle forward and sped off towards the Death Star, pushing the limits, and testing (Though it was hard to tell) the capabilities of his craft. He knew that the Interceptor he was in had to be in tip top shape (as in the sims, they were programmed by experts) but, for some reason, Liquid felt uneasy about the whole situation. He knew that it was his time to prove to those who called him unworthy of the Elite title his squadron had gained before he had joined them. JMac actually recruited the young pilot into the ranks of Aegis, but, he never knew why. He now had a chance to prove all those that opposed him wrong. He sensed something coming from behind him, low and behold, the newer member of Aegis, Zakath, was flying on JMac's right wing, forming up to hurt some rebel scum. He flew close to the Death Star, admiring the Imperial ship's beauty, and the vast amounts of programming, time and effort that went into the ship. Liquid knew about the Death star, having read a lot about it's captain, Darth Vader, the true Lord of the Sith, that is, until he was killed by Luke Skywalker. Liquid had heard various acounts of Vader coming back to the light as he died, but it was a futile attempt, for, once you go dark, you'll never go back. Liquid watched the 2 X-wings that contained the crew that were to blow up the Death Star's reactor core, and throttled up his Interceptor to give chase. He commed to JMac and Zakath for backup, and was surprised to see Sk8 coming up beside him, now, it was only them that were left to give these rebel scum dancing lessons, and oh, how deadly they would be....

LoneWolf lined behind a rebel X-Wing, and shot two well aimed linked bolts at it sending it into a fray of debris. He grinned even more evilly as he marked another rebel downed. He began to realize he set himself for a trap; but his wingmate, Rouge, swooped by and shot down a A-Wing sneaking up on him. "Thanks Aegis 6!" LoneWolf would of grinned if it were not for the star ship opening fire on him. He pulled the Interceptor into a tight turn dancing around, as not to get hit. He broke from the Mon Calamari’s attention, and his flight formed up. "Line up Flight Two! Lets cycle through in a variation of a slash attack." LoneWolf was lead then PJ, and lastly rouge, lined up behind him. They came up on a B-Wing leader who was occupied attacking the last interceptor of a simulated flight. LoneWolf let off the first assault of scattered un-linked shots, he waited for another B-Wing to line up behind Rouge Before his wingmate could complain he looped behind to the back of the line and raised hell on the B-Wing. PJ continued stealing the shields of the lead B-Wing as it just finished off its prey. He broke off as it turned sharp to his left and out of his fire range. LoneWolf broke his attack, and took out the shieldless lead fighter as PJ got behind Rouge, and his annoying tail to finish off  the foolish rebel. Rouge led the next wave as LoneWolf lined in the back of the line this time. The XO knew as anyone else that the tactic would only work a couple of times before it was caught on to. And so they worked on it taking out a total of 7 fighters, a highly effective move as it lasted but as LW began to start a recycled lead he realized a flight of fighters noticing his handy work. "Break off and scatter, lets give Jmac and the others cover before that flight takes too much more interest in us."

Liquid smiled as Sk8 came up on his wing. "What'd I miss Aegis 10?" Sk8 commed, pushing his throttle forward and firing a few missed shots at the 2 X-wings. "Not much Sir, just a few rebel scum here and there, nothing to be afraid of for Force users such as ourselves," Liquid stated, reaching out with the Force to misguide the one young X-wing pilot's hand. Sk8 cackled as the one X-wing slammed harmlessly into the heavily armored deck of the Death Star. "Nothing smells better than fried rebels in the mornin'!" he shouted, picking the other X-wing off. Suddenly, Liquid sensed that something was wrong. "Sir, that had to be a decoy flight, they were way to easy to pick off for them to have been the real reactor core bombing team!" Liquid commed in, desperatelly scanning the area, letting his r-6 droid, Hellion help with the scan. "OK, let's find those suckers then! We're gonna make 'em sorry they ever messed with the Empire!!!!" Sk8 said, as his fighter blew up and he was left in the dust by Liquid. "Shazbot!" Liquid screamed, knowing he couldn't take on 2 rebel aces without any help, his only consolation was that Zakath had wondered off, and had been closely tailing him, almost mistaking the Imperial pilot for a rebel. Liquid dodged his untrained shots, and commed over to Zakath. "It's me fool, quit shooting!!" he shouted, dodging another blast of linked lasers. "Geez, sorry sir!" Zakath shouted back, immediately dropping throttle a bit. "Don't drop your speed, you're coming with me, we still need to give this rebel scum some dancing lessons!" Liquid shouted, transferring some power from his sheilds to his engines. "Yessir," Zakath shouted, struggling to not get shot up by the rebel scum that were tailing them.

Though the ties given to the pilots were ones with shields LoneWolf dropped them. He knew he would be lucky if they even withstood one hit so his natural course was to drop them. He say his commander was back in action, however didn’t bother to tease him. "Clear that X on my-!" he broke off as the Tie Interceptor dived at the surface of the Death Star. He drew the X-Wing in a tight dance past active surface turrents. The turbolasers shot off almost harmlessly barely getting splash damage on the Rebel. He then hit his flare trigger and pulled up. the counter measure flung out and smashed into the cockpit, and demanded the ship go into a massive swirl. Enough to have the turbolasers pick him off forever. Flight two formed back up, LoneWolf began studying the battle he realized to prevent more strikes against the failing Imperials they would have to focus an attack on a command ship yet keep an eye on the millennium falcon. "Aegis Leader I think we should focus our efforts onto Home One!" a mummer of replies came back then Sk8guy came in, "Err I think we should keep on the falcon! We’ll split up ill take flight one and three to Home One, you’ll provide us cover until the shield fails then proceed to defend the Deathstar!" LoneWolf took a breath in then conceded, "Roger Aegis One following you lead!" the squadron reassembled to tackle on the Mon Calamari lead ship. LoneWolf however took the first attack so he could clear the way for his peers. Flight 2 drove at the mother ship attacking the bridge then switching to a turbolaser turret. The explosion of the turret set satisfaction as they interceptors lined up to provide cover. "OK take a few swings when you can at the thing but give the rest of aegis it’s needed cover!" LoneWolf focused back onto a X coming at Liquid, he didn’t even hear the "affirmative!" his two wingmates gave him as the battle engulfed him more, and more.

Rogue pulled up hard after making a run against Home One’s starboard side. He had managed to kill another turbolaser when he noticed an A-wing trying to slip up behind Lonewolf as he cleared an X-wing of Liquid’s tail. Rouge cut a sharp, tight turn and opened fire on the A-wing. Rogue’s lasers caught it dead amidships, blasting through its shields, and penetrating straight to the cockpit killing the pilot instantly. Rogue cleaned his own tail with a pair of back to back hard multi directional jinks and turned to reattack Home One. He started working on another turbolaser when the bulge next to it blew, sending shrapnel straight into Rogue’s flight path. Only a hard, vertical loop and reverse saved Rogue from being cut to pieces. Rogue remembered that the Mon Calamari put cluster bombs on there ships as anti-fighter weapons disguising them as extra blister bulges. This would make hurting Home One harder to do now. Rogue got on the com to Lonewolf and informed him of the hidden cluster bombs. Rogue saw a pair of B-wings coming to defend the Rebel command ship and turned to engage them. He got one with almost no trouble but the second took a little time to kill. All of a sudden his shields started taking hits. He called for support over the comm but couldn’t tell if anyone heard him. He went evasive and caught sight of the X-wing that was engaging him. Rogue almost had a heart attack when he saw the markings on the X-wing. It had the same marking as theX-wing he had been flying at the Battle of Endor. That meant he was up against one of his former wingman or worse, himself. Several of that unit had similar painted X-wings. It was going to take all his skills to kill himself if it was his own fighter and himself that he was up against.  He started trying all sorts of combinations at random but the X-wing stuck with him. He called for help again and kept trying to loose the X-wing, which lasers were getting to close and starting to hurt his shields.

Liquid commed back to his distressed squadron member, "I'm coming Rogue!!" Liquid shouted, powering up and finishing off the A-wing that was trailing him tightly. He pulled up behind Rogue, asking where the hell that X-wing was that was tailing him, Rogue claimed that it just disappeared. Liquid knew that that couldn't be true, but then realized something quickly as his shields starting taking damage. "CRAP!" Liquid shouted, taking a tight vertical loop and releasing a flare into the midst. Liquid opened up to the force, guided the flare, and took out one of the blister bombs on the command ship, and then turned his attention back to the X-wing that was giving his friend and squadron-mate trouble. "Frack!" Rogue shouted, trying desperately to shake him off his tail. Liquid realized that there was only one way to keep his friend from dieing, but, he also knew that it was suicide. He relied solely on the vast amounts of strength and will that he had to save his friend, he let the anger flow, and pushed his craft to the limits, slamming into the hull of the rebel X-wing and detonating a concussion missle and blowing himself apart along with the rebel Rogue that was threatening his friend. Just before Liquid had detonated the missle, he caught a glimpse of the rebel pilot, and he almost couldn't bring himself to kill a member of his squad, but realized that it must be done for the mission to succeed. "Good job pilot," Riel congradulated, flipping the switch to put Liquid back into combat. "Thanks Sir," Liquid said, half saluting as the black screen turned back into the now familiar cockpit of a Tie Interceptor. Liquid flew off, finding his flight and continueing the battle, not sure of where the Force would lead him next.

Another kill was notched up as LoneWolf disintegrated another A-Wing, for now the only fighter classes left were the X’s and a decreasing amount of A’s and a flight of Y’s. he heard rouge speak of a cluster bombs then static as he went into evasive maneuvers. Little by little it seemed almost vague to attack the tremendous Home One. The shields seemed to last at twenty percent as if it refused to submit to the harassment. LoneWolf took another pass taking a turbolaser then a cluster bomb before it could eject out. Finally the shields nudged two markings, "Still not enough! I want that squid head for dinner!" the general reference of Ackbar brought a few chuckles from weary pilots through the squadron as they heard the remark. "I got two on me give me cover!" sk8guy yelped calmly over the radio, Lonewolf pulled from his pass to take out the two X-Wings. A green bolt sliced easily through the first one then several pounded and surrender the other to submission.  "Look out for those clusters on you run guys!" he then looked around to dodge fire from another X-Wing as it moved for senseless revenge. He launched another flare then swung around behind it to stop it’s reckless spinning. The he realized his plan had worked, the Millennium Falcon turned around to protect Home One, which was begging at ten percent shields.

Liquid pulled his Interceptor up after another run, and circled around for the final one, the shields were now just struggling at 3%, and Liquid knew this would be the final run for Aegis, he pulled his fighter into a sharp dive, and began firing as fast as his fingers would let him. He smiled as the rebel ship's sheilds failed and he saw the satisfying images of his lasers hitting the hull, and starting to inflict some real damage, Liquid kept firing, and pulled up at the last minute, the rest of Aegis followed suit, and the all almost scraped the bottoms of their Interceptors on the ship. Liquid called upon the Force, just as he had done quite a few times so far on this mission, and felt the fear eminating from the crew of the Millennium Falcon. He used this fear to fuel his power and to guide his actions. He felt the anger flowing freely around him, and he was tiring quickly, if he was to do it at any time, now was that time. He suddenly pulled tightly upward, and went full speed into the Millennium Falcon's open doors, heading for the reactor core that was powering the ship. Liquid found it, at the same place it was in his new YT-2000, and quickly fired off some turbo-lasers, knowing that it would only take a few to make contact with the semi-unstable core. He flew as fast as his Tie Interceptor could carry him. He calmly pulled out of the open doors of the massive Millenium Falcon, and pulled beside his Flight leader, JMac, and commed over to his friend that the mission objective was completed, and that we should concentrate on the rest of the X-wings and the other ships that were slowly decreasing in numbers.

(Keep refreashing to look for new post!) LoneWolf veered off at the last minute broken shards flung at him and he flew through the massing pieces. The maze was hard but he popped out the other end. To his horror the millennium falcon appeared on the other end too. He soon realized he picked up the huge target, "So you wanna learn the Aegis tango! You gotta move that fat arse to get up to this heat!" He put the interceptor into an insane twisting dive through Star Destroyers, and Rebel Ships. The stubborn Millennium Falcon followed every turn and fired off dangerous shots. LoneWolf was more maneuverable though, he pulled into too tight a turn for the turrets, and appeared at the back of the freighter, almost in the blind spot. It was insane he could get so far without a hit but now he was hammered with a massive one. He quickly broke off before he was finished. "Stang!" LoneWolf quickly studied the instruments, and found his cockpit would of been breached, he also would have been wearing a space suit though. The YT-1300 came in another attack but was distracted with the banging of Star Destroyer turbolasers. "Thank You Force!" LoneWolf grunted as he locked onto another fighter instead of the Elusive Falcon.

I smiled as JMac looked over towards me and gave me the thumbs up sign, indicating that he was ready to go after some rebel scum together. "Everyone, form into your flights, we're splitting up and taking them all head on," Sk8 said, glancing at the shiny metal object on his hip that he had crafted just weeks ago. I knew that I was in trouble as the X-wing behind him tried to lock on with a concussion missle, and pulled a tight loop, spinning around in mid-air, and firing a few quick quad-laser blasts into the topside of the rebel scum's cockpit, slamming through the debri, and taking a few hits to his shields from an A-wing pilot that was fast on his tail. I dodged to the right, and the A-wing followed me, I took eratic manuevers trying to break free from the almost lock that the seemingly Ace pilot had on me. I then reached out to the Force, and almost fainted as the lack of power in my body was growing evident. Seemingly, I knew that I needed more training, and after such long dabbles with the Dark Side, I couldn't keep it up for much longer. I decided to stop using the Force for the rest of this mission. It would just work better that way. I smiled as the A-wing pilot behind me slipped up, as I faked to the right, and went to the left, he flew past me on the right side while I decreased speed, and opened up with my turbo lasers. "Liquid," JMac commed over, obviously distraught about something. "Yessir?" I replied, trying to concentrate on the mission at hand. "Watch out!!!" JMac shouted, almost scraping my craft with the top of his, JMac almost losing control in the midst of this grueling dogfight.

Rusty runs into the Sim room, ready to test himself in a battle. He jumps into his sim eagerly, ready...Rusty coms into Sk8 and LW ,"Sorry I'm late! I'm a fresh recruit, right outta flight school! I am ready to fight, and willing to join the true elite squadron." LW:"Finally, where ya been, kid! Lets go get these bastards!" Sk8:"Watch your language, boy. Hurry, we need to take out this floundering rebel gang!" Rusty:"Sir, Yes, Sir! With pleasure." Rusty quickly saw that Liquid and JMac were in trouble. The eratic and out of control Liquid was going to be embedded into his own teammate. Rusty swoops down to the unsuspecting A-wing, and grips the trigger of his joystick. This takes a piece out of the A-Wing, who quickly runs for his life. Rusty peels off from the group to chase the wounded A-Wing down. Suddenly, a suprise attack from an X-Wing! Rusty keeps his cool, ready for anything this beast of an enemy had in store. As the X-wing fire uncontrollably to save his friend, Rusty does a barrel-roll and excellerates up to the A-Wing. The X-wing speeds to keep up, and has Rusty locked on. Rustichituk quickly realises that there are now two Fighters on his tail. Rusty realises that there is no way out. Rusty:"Sorry guys, but I'm in quite a situation here! I need back up!" Liquid:"Im commin'" Liquid separates from JMac, who shortly after, follows. Liquid takes the X-wing, and JMac takes the other fighter, a B-Wing. Liquid locks on and fires at the cockpit, and takes out the pilot. The X-Wing slowly fades into black. JMac out manuvers his B-Wing and fires his blaster cannons and takes the B-Wing out with ease. Rusty sees hes clear after all that and concentrates on the A-Wing. Rusty fires, but the A-Wing dodges and dumps some cargo into Rusty's fighter. Rusty barrel-rolls to shake the cargo off. Quickly Rusty catches up and fires at the A-wing, blowing it to Smitherines! Rusty:"WOOHOO! MY FIRST KILL, YEAH! Liquid:"Dont get too excited, but ya did good, kid."

Liquid smiled as the newbie racked up his first kill for the ESC, he couldn't help but be impressed by his enthusiasm, but then again, what was Liquid to expect from a 150 year old Wookie? Liquid pulled himself up in his seat, he couldn't help but notice the A-wing that was tailing him and his new Flight Member. "Rusty, pull a tight vertical loop, and try to get above him, i'm going under him." Liquid said, pushing down on his controls. "Yessir," Rusty said, following the orders of his makeshift Flight Leader. JMac had been blown up, and was waiting the 10 minutes he had before reinsertion without rest. Liquid could hear JMac whining to Riel, begging to be reinserted before the 5 STU's were up. "Come on Riel, you know that adult diaper was really from Japheth's office, Liquid was just saying that to be funny!!" JMac shouted, getting aggravated with his commanding officer. "Silence!" Riel shouted, waving his hand at JMac and watching as the young pilot and Sith Adept flew across the simulated cockpit and slammed hard into the other side of it. "Yessir," Jmac shouted back, awaiting the 5 STU period to be over with. Liquid turned his concentration back to him and his new found wingman, dealing with the rebel scum that were attacking his makeshift flight. He commed over to Rusty that they were to be on evasive manuevers now, only firing if they had a clear shot. Liquid figured that accuracy counted for something on this mission, and watched the young pilot pull high-G manuevers that only the young could withstand. "Sir," Rusty commed in, his voice wavering as he talked, "I've got 2 A-wing on my tail, could i get a little help here please?" "Sure thing Crewman," Liquid said, pulling his Tie Interceptor into a hard right turn and lining up with the closer of the 2. Liquid let lose quad laser fire, and watched the A-wing explode into shrapnel. The young pilot inside the Tie Interceptor that was being chased, had somehow pulled behind the other A-wing, and blown it to bits. "MY SECOND KILL!!" Rusty shouted, as more and more rebel scum kept coming at them.

Rusty feels honored to be flying by the side of a Sith. He knew this would be better than his old Bounty Hunting gig. Soon a group of Y-Wings flew into the scene. The bulky bombers must have thought they could keep up with the Interceptors of Liquid and Rusty. Rusty just thinks to himself "Growl! These guys think they can take us, they're nothin but a scrapheap with bomb in its belly!" Rusty: "Ill take the two on the right, Can you take the leader and his buddy?" Liquid: "Sure thing, kid. Just watch your hide." The young wookie just takes his piloting instincts and creeps up behind his two enemies. The right Y-Wing notices...but its too late as he tries to zoom away. Rusty takes his cannon and blasts his target into his compadre and they careen together making shrapnel. He notices that Liquid took care of one but, when he went after the other, a B-Wing zoomed up. Rusty:"Watch it, you've got one on your tail!" Liquid:"Ahh, SHIT!" Rusty:"No need for that, Ill take your pursuer, you worry about that Y-Wing." Rusty swoops up to the B-Wing who notices his enemy and peels away from Liquid who quickly took care of the Y-Wing. Liquid and Rust pursue the B-Wing. It was flying wildly in everywhich way. Rusty and Liquid patienly await thier chance to fire. Rusty fires...negative. Liquid fires and takes a chunk outta that B-Wing. Rusty finishes the job, destroying the ship. Rusty: "We make a good team, Liquid" Liquid: "Nice shot kid." Rusty: "Lets go help the others!" Liquid: "Good idea!"

(OOC: good job so far Rusty, keep up the good work) Liquid started humming a familiar tune, one that had been in style a very, very long time ago. "Another one bites the dust, woo-hah!" as he blasted through yet another rebel ship. Liquid couldn't believe how quickly and effectively he has blasting through rebels, the cockpit of the Interceptor felt familiar, almost as if he had flown one somewhere else. He shook his head and brought his attention back to the simulated mission. Liquid looked at his shields, checking to see if this clearly trained pilot that was attacking him was hitting him at all. Liquid almost crapped his pants as he looked in horror: his shields were almost gone! 10% left before the rebel scum starting hitting his hull! He pulled a tight vertical loop, jamming the controls quickly to the right at the apex of the turn, then pushing them forward. He was hoping to get the scum off of his tail, and possibly get off a few pop shots before the X-wing could realize what was happening. He got above the rebel, fired off with quad-linked lasers, and then flew straight through the debri that he had just created. He got a sense of satisfaction from blowing up this scum, and was very happy with himself for some reason. "oh well," he stated, wondering where Rusty was, and suddenly seeing Rusty almost scraping the hull of the enemy pilot's Y-wing, and saw how he pulled the right, dropping a flare and letting the rebel run right into it. "good job," thought Liquid, as the young pilot racked up another kill. Liquid didn't have much time to celebrate though, as he was getting trailed by yet another rebel. "Don't these guys know they're all gonna die?" Liquid shouted, releasing a flare and pulling into an upside down barrel roll loop, pulling the controls hard and fighting the massive forces of gravity that were being simulated in the cockpit. He watched as Rogue skillfully blasted through his pursuer, and was grateful that the trained pilot had broken off his flight.

LoneWolf began to realize that the dogfights were a result of Imperial craft dwindling down. Rebel ships steadily became more equal to Tie’s present. LoneWolf took down another rebel X-wing, the prime kill for the squadron, he quickly moved on from the flight member to his flight leader. The X-wing’s shields collapsed to the relentless attacks, LoneWolf realized he just took down two Red Squadron Fighters. A big mistake especially to have just picked up the other flight of the prestigious fighter group. LoneWolf dodged frantically through star ships; but the three remaining fighters of the flight followed, blasters firing away. with his hull so low he danced into a desperate maneuver, asking the devastator for docking clearance. The Imperial Star Destroyer readily agreed and LoneWolf flew underneath it, almost missing his entry port. The Tie Interceptor snapped into a half loop landing upside down in the Star Destroyer, letting the Turbo Lasers take out the two Rouges. With his action made he could pick up the only extra craft issued to him, and have his other fighter worked on. It took a minute for the computer to switch his craft in the sim but soon he was launching out in the new Tie Interceptor as he began to chop through the rebels again.

Rusty noticed that the there where only a few rebels left. About 10. "We can take 'em" Rusty thought. He saw that Lone Wolf was in a bit of trouble. He had been chasing an A-Wing, well it had somehow gotten behind him, and had gotten backup from another A-Wing partner. Liquid had already peeled off to help JMac, who had returned to the sim. Rusty sped up to LW's pursuers. Rusty locked on, and fired away at one, making some pretty fireworks, but the other was less vunerable. It had more shields, and was a better pilot. Rusty had his work cut out for him, but he was willing to take the chance. Soon, 4 X-Wings came up and started wailing on Rusty's shields. He noticed that everyone else had been busy. So Rusty commed in "I see that the rest of you are busy with your own problems...my hull has taken a beating. Sorry guys, im in a bind, i mind as well take one out with me." Rusty accelerates right into the A-Wing that he had been pursuing. Lone Wolf: "Hmmm, he's not afraid to take his life if it helps us out. Good job, kid, see you in 10 minutes." Liquid: "Well, it was great run for your first sim while it lasted, see you back out here soon." But before Rusty could return to help with the sim, his compadres had recieved some fire from the dwindling rebel fleet. Liquid commed to LW: "We need more people like little Rusty here, loyal, and willing to do anything for his squad!" Lone Wolf: "Yes." Rusty patiently awaits his return to the battle, and to help out the rest of his squad in the tight position with the rebels. His 10 minutes are about up now and he ready...   ----------------------- TRN/LCRW Rustichituk/Aegis 3-3/Wing 1 (Phoenix)/mSSD Atrus/DEF/VEN/VE/(=A=)

LoneWolf winced at the sight of the A-Wing, exploding with the Tie Interceptor. He knew it would be harder but he had to carry on so Rusty’s plan would be worth it. "Twice as hard" he said under his breath, it would of been an easier breeze if he didn’t noticed that the numbers were setting to the "hero’s" of the Battle of Endor. Though the command ship had been massacred the rebels seemed to fight harder. LoneWolf  took a charge at a partially disabled gunship. He took a pass at it then cleared as a tremendous green laser bolt struck it down. "Almost forgot that thing was operational!" it was a sickening over kill, the deathstar laser beam striking a corellian gunship to shreds. At the end of the thought he couldn’t help but laugh. He brought the interceptor back to charge into the fray, the new command ship was the rebel medical frigate. "lets concentrate on the Frigate guys! Same plan as it was last!" flight two led the charge again striking at various positions, LoneWolf sensed rouge being a little un-easy about this action. "It’s in the past man lets just get this mission over with!" he jerked the interceptor as a turbolaser turned to fire. Flight 3 began getting light harassment and LW knew it was his turn to help them out.

Rusty finally arrived at his eagerly awaited time to join the sim fight again. He felt so free flying away from the Devastator. He noticed that JMac and Liquid were being chased by the same four X-Wings that had forced him into Kamikazee. With revenge in his blood, Rustichituk accelerated to help his friends. He noticed that the leader was wounded. He was foolish, no shield left, and reactor exposed. One shot at the reactor from his cannon took him out. The others noticed their leader was gone and went wild. Their frantic manuvers were a pathetic attempt and getting away. "The fools!" Rustichituk had thought to himself. He locked onto the middle one, and blew him to kingdom kong. But the explosion from the blast made the left X-wing manuever out of the way. During the process of this, the Left X-Wing careened into Liquids Titanium hull. Taking Liquid out with him...This upset Rustichituk quite a bit. Rusty: "NO! My first mistake, sorry Liquid." Liquid: "Its ok Rusty, calm down. Its just a sim...but, try not to do that in a real battle." Rusty: "Yessir." With 3 of the 4 X-wings taken care of, the last was tailing JMac closely. Rusty accelerates ahead of Jmac, and turns upside down, speeding head-on at JMac. Rusty blasts JMac's pursuer and pulls up just in time. JMac: "Nice Shot! You saved my hide." Rusty: "It was nothing, lets go get some more of that scum!" Flying beside his new partner seems natural, as it did with Liquid. The two blasted some B-Wing, then were alerted by Lone Wolf "I was trying to help the flight, but i got some rebels on my tail! I NEED BACK UP, AND QUICK!" Rusty and JMac zoom into black space to help their dear friend...

Crimson lasers swept pass him sizzling his fragile hull, as before he dumped his shields for speed, he knew they could last two minutes with no hits, but in this case two minutes was a while back. "Where are you guys I need this nuisance off my back!" he dodged yet frantically took a fired shot at the medical frigate. He had to muse through the hectic dancing that the rebels decided to retreat. It took him a while to notice Jmac and Rusty approaching his vector, the stubborn X-wings exploded from the barrage of unexpected shots. "Good job you two, you just blasted some of those dang rouges!" Rusty howled over the comm as did Jmac. "Continue the assault on the Frigate! Let us show them the might of the empire as their weaklings are crushed!" nearly everyone in Aegis got boosted from the mention of the name of the Empire. LoneWolf formed up with Jmac, and Rusty for a quick hit, and fade on the Frigate.  The shields slowly came to fifty percent. It was trying to escape between two star destroyers, the shear power of some of the turbo lasers cut the shields down by one percent with each shot. "We’ll have that thing soon enough!" LW growled over the comm as he took a pass with flight two.

Rusty felt good after helping the fill in leader, Lone Wolf. The medical frigate was in trouble now, the star destroyers flaming it with blasts, and now that Liquid was suited up with his Tie Interceptor again the Posse of four Ties started barraging the Medical frigate with blasts of their own cannons.  The frigate was starting to show signs of fatigue and it was wounded, the 4 ties then were approached by a small gang of 2 Y-wings and 3 A-Wings. They fired away at the right Y-Wing, who had started to bomb the Star Destroyers. The second tried to get away from the group of Ties, but it was just too sluggish to stay away. The A-Wings had started to lower Rusty’s shields. Rusty growled in rage over the com. Liquid: “Uh-oh, they made the wrong wookie mad today!” Lone Wolf: “Well, as the saying goes ‘Let the wookie win.” Jmac: “Ummm, we betta stay outta his way, he seems pretty mad!” Rusty accelerates up to the leader, who had hit him, and flamed him with a cluster of red beams leaving shrapnel floating in the place of his enemy. The other two were taken care of by the rest of the group. Together they concentrated on the Medical frigate, they angrily blasted its bridge apart, but then left it, wounded. Insult to injury. They noticed a transport ship in the distance and sped towards it. Rusty: “They are trying to land troops to destroy our base!” Lone Wolf: “Lets go get ‘em!” Jmac: “Yessir!” Liquid: “With Pleasure!” As the 4 Interceptors approached the transport 2 B-wings flew into sight. Lone Wolf: “Ok, Jmac  and I will take the B-wings, Rusty and Liquid start firing at that transport!” Rusty: “Yessir!” Liquid: “Lets get ‘em!” Jmac: “Time to let some blast fly, and make some rebels fry!” As Lone Wolf and Jmac held off the B-Wings, Liquid and Rusty fire at will upon the helpless transport. They start seeing explosions on its hull, and the reactor is taken out. The transport is a sitting duck. They barrage it with a few more blasts and BOOM! It was gone. The B-Wings had been taken care of during the Pursuit of the Transport…

The transport probably took enough damaged that half the crew was dead for sure, just the med bots taking care of the still wounded passangers. "Wounded for now!" LoneWolf yelled as he fired at the ship. He would of continued if it were not for the commotion of the imperial and rebel fleets. Aegis got orders from the devastator. "Aegis Squadron you are to prevent the fighter screen from attacking the station! We just received word the shield has failed!" LoneWolf quickly cut off his attack, and twirled around to the Death Star. several fighters and the ever annoying YT-1300 passed infront, of  the Ties. LoneWolf and rusty seemed to be closest in pursuit.  He opened a rain of green laser bolts (most missing) but still desperate to hit them or make them panic. the last leg, and majority of the fighters fell off from the lead to engage. He quickly realized he was the closest target dispite Rusty being right behind him, they all targeted him, "Rusty break off and fallow the Falcon! I’ll distract these rebel scum for you!"  with no response the wookie pilot simply complied and drove through the fighter screen untouched to chase the falcon. LoneWolf directed his attention to the three X-Wing’s that just locked onto him with missiles. One fired it away however LoneWolf fired and shot it down before it could come close enough to him. Three came at him and he blew two up before they were a safe distance from the fighter. LoneWolf dodged off to the side the last one and fired a flare as it blurred by. The torpedo exploded harmlessly behind him, leaving his worry to the remaining X-Wing.

With the transport out of our way, Rusty pursued the Falcon. The highly evasive Falcon was both faster and more maneuverable than Rusty’s TIE Interceptor. Rusty was afraid that his prey would get away, so he commed “Liquid, can you give me a hand with the falcon?” Liquid happily replied “Sure I will!” As Liquid came into the scene, but the Falcon just became more evasive.  The Falcon turned its turrets back to the pair of Ties that were tailing him, and fired, clipping one of Rusty’s solar panels. This made the wookie’s craft spin out of control. Quickly, he regained his concentration and stabilized his craft. Liquid fired some green beams at the Falcon, useless…The Falcon was just too maneuverable. Rusty took some shots too, but all were negative. Rusty: “This ship’s just too good!” Liquid: “I think I have a plan.” Rusty: “What is that?” Liquid: “Just follow my lead.” Rusty: “Yessir.” Liquid sped off into the distance as Rusty tried to keep up. Looked as if Liquid was going to try to corral the Falcon to help…Rusty scraped his hull against the Falcon to try to make it turn to the Star Destroyers. His attempts were failed. And they needed help with this thing…Rusty thought “I wonder what Liquid has in mind…”

Liquid smiled as the rookie pilot tried futilely to corall the rebel YT-1300, but, he ultimately failed. Using his wits, and his knowledge of ships based on his years gone by as a renegade pirate, and other things. Liquid thought quickly realizing there was only one way to bring this ship down, and realizing that it had to be done quick. Liquid pulled up beside Rusty, acting as if he was the flight leader, and comming over to him that he needed to fly directly for it's hanger bay, also telling him the rebel's frequency, so he could get it. Liquid commed into the rebel ship, using his old call sign, and gaining access to the ship's cargo bay. He flew in quickly, making sure he and Rusty had proper clearance. Liquid pulled up quickly, and dropped a concussion missle, set to detonate in 1/2 a STU, which should be plenty of time for him and Rusty to get out alive. Rusty did the same, pulling in a tight right turn, then pushing forward the throttle until he could hardly stand the simulated g-forces that were pushing on him and Liquid. As they pulled out of the now deseased looking Falcon, Rusty's concussion missle went off as well, sending a bone-jarring jolt throughout the galaxy, and he was sure that everyone on the Death Star felt the massive shockwave that eminated from the now-in-pieces Millenium Falcon, and knew that it was as well as done. Liquid and Rusty pulled around, and looked for more fighters to blow up, knowing that the Death star was still in trouble. Liquid locked onto a rebel ship, and motioned to Rusty to do the same, as he pulled through the debri that was left of the Millenium Falcon. He smiled inwardly with a sense of satisfaction.

Rusty was satisfied that they had found a way to destroy the Falcon, but now they had to destroy the rest of the fleet. Suddenly a Mon Calamari command ship appeared from no where to assist the dwindling rebel fleet. Rusty alerted the star destroyers of the Mon Calamari's presence. He was told that it would be taken care of right away. Liquid and Rusty approached some wounded X-Wings. "No Mercy..." Rusty mumbled under his breath into the com. They bombarded the rebel starfighters with a barrage of green. The debri floated into the line of sight of the Mon Calamari. This was their chance to help the Star Destroyers out. They skimmed over the smooth skin of the command ship and dropped some cannon blasts, leaving some gray blemishes upon the hull of the Mon Calamari ship. Soon they were encountered by a group of mixed rebel fighters. Rusty locked onto a Y-Wing and blasted it to bits. Soon they were approached by an unexpected starcraft, a Z-Wing.  The flat build of the craft gave great manuverabilty. But it had very little in the category of weapons. As the A-Wing and X-Wing closed in on him, Rusty caked the Z-Wing with green, lowering its shields to twenty percent. But it was almost too late, the rest of the group was closing in on Rusty and Liquid. Rustichituk saw a chance and took out one of the A-Wings that had been chasing Liquid. Rusty: “To anyone that hears this, we are under siege, a group of mixed rebel craft has attacked us!” Jmac and Lone Wolf: “We’re on our way!” Lone Wolf had his tail saved too many times this mission, it was his time to return the favor. The B and X-wings that had been tailing Rusty were now being hit with unexpected bombardment. Lone Wolf and Jmac had taken out half the group. Rusty shot down the rest of Liquid’s pursuers, but the Z-Wing was evading their attacks and was getting back up from some more Y and X-wings, plus the Mon Calamari ship. Well Rusty blasted his way through the sluggish Y-Wings, but the fact remained, they needed to destroy that Mon Calamari control ship…

LoneWolf took out another X-Wing adding up an even higher number of the kills. Even though the mission was a vitural success the minor appearance of a Mon Calamari, barely heated things up. he took down a trailing B-Wing, on Rusty’s tail. "Don’t worry bout that one boys even with the Executor gone that squid ship is gone!" the clenching teeth of the Imperial Star Destroyers came in on it, only leaving the few without shield generators left. The fighters were all the Imperails had left to worry about. And easy victory indeed! This was a diversionary tatic, a rather pathetic one, saving a ship for the last stroke luck. LoneWolf chased a fighter that had been their scince the begging of the attack. He greedily took it out as an invitation to his fellow friends. The whole horde began to evacuate, somethign the Empire would not allow. The Devastator rang in, "Aegis Squadron dock with us we’ll be tracking the rebel retreating fleet to Sullest to wipe them out!" LoneWolf asked how they knew they would stop there, "We’ve planted an interdictor in ther region they won’t get far!" Lonewolf then gave the order to dock and prepare for the chase and defeat of the rebels.

Rogue heard the call from the Devastator and broke off from engaging the remaining Rebel fighters. He docked with the ISD and watched as the screens went dead around him, The simulator shut down as Rogue felt and heard the hatch open behind him. Cool air drifted into the hot simulator as Rouge unhooked himself and climbed out. He didn’t know if the sim was over but he was tired and wanted a shower. In the sim, they were supposed to be chasing the Rebels aboard the Devastator.  The only real question was, were they going to simulate taking the real time it took to get there or just skip on along. But Rogue wasn’t going wait around to find out. He left the simulator room and got to one of the ship’s subcaferterias/snack bars, grabbed a drink and some fries, and ate’em on the walk back to the sim room. He made a quick stop at the refresher, noticing several other members of Aegis had the same idea, and then it was right back into the simulator to wipe out the Rebels at Sullust. Rogue was back in the docking bay of the Devastator when the sim powered back up. He checked his ship status as he powered up and noticed almost all the damage from the Endor fight was repaired as if they had given him another ship to fly. He heard the launch command and felt the squint drop free, so he dove out of the back into the joining battle. The Imperial fleet that had come from Endor was moving to engage the surviving Rebel ships. The armed rebel ships tried to screen the unarmed ones from the oncoming SD’s but to little avail. Despite the damage to the Imperial ships, their numbers were looking too strong for the Rebels. But no ships could leave the system due to the two Interdictor cruisers that had been deployed by the Empire. Rogue joined up in his spot on Lonewolf’s starboard wing as Aegis joined up and headed to engage the remaining rebels.

Rusty felt ready to fight after the quick break. The Devastator arrived at Sullust, and the Aegis Squadron was ready to take out the remaining rebel fleet. Rusty felt the cold harness on his fur, but concentrated on the fight. Lone Wolf: “Rusty, Rogue, you two go to take out the pathetic attempt to fend us off, the Mon Calamari cruiser.” Rusty: “With pleasure!” Rogue: “Whatever you say boss.” Lone Wolf: “Liquid, myself and Jmac will provide cover.” Jmac/Liquid: “Yessir!” Rusty swooped up next to his (yet another) new partner. They pasted the Mon Calamari with green, leaving small black imperfections upon its hull. Lone Wolf and the others remembered that they had taken out all the fighters. So they too, joined in on the fun. Liquid used his old call sign again, and they docked in the cruiser’s bay. While the others placed some 7-prg proton grenades around (which Rusty was without), Rustichituk blasted the inside of the ship with his cannons. Taking out some Mon Calamari in the process. They left the cruiser as a large explosion from the bay area took the ship out. Now they saw another transport ship, Rusty aggressively barraged it with laser. The small shots slowly lowered the ships shield. The others had peeled off to take shots at the other ships in the fleet. Rusty felt alone, and tried to concentrate on taking out the transport. But he had stopped and it was getting away, he was reminded of the time he was left alone, when the rebels betrayed his parents and killed them. He shook his head and focused on the transport. He caught up and blasted away at its hull, he was pursuing his prey…   [Edit: Scored through this post Aug, 3] ----------------------- TRN/LCRW Rustichituk/Aegis 3-3/Wing 1 (Phoenix)/mSSD Atrus/DEF/VEN/VE/(=A=)

(OOC: we're starting the next mission as seeing this last one getting kind of stale. Check your emails for plans and news!) Once Rusty got the transport everyone took a quick break. It was good to stretch out and eat a meal, after eating at the Lounge LoneWolf felt more than ready to begin the next one. He was the first back in the sim room and waited for everyone else to join. It was a few minutes but then they were back in this sims. This time each had their own Scimitar Assault bomber. Though the craft usually had two pilots, this time they would just use the computer to fill that spot in. LoneWolf played with his docking options adding flares, and torpedoes. He went through his plan with everyone else earlier. Given the bombers had no Ion Cannons, half of them would use Ion Pulse Warheads, while the other half carried missile payloads for any heavy resistance. He lifted off from the simulated floors of the escort carrier taking them to the mission. He wasn’t quite sure how the alien craft would be in any type of fighting, so he flew out carefully. He waited in space for the rest of his squadron to pour out an join him. Once he counted everyone, he waited for the carrier to zoom into hyperspace leaving them to their objectives.   ----------------------- EFL/ESN Lonewolf/Aegis 2-1/mSSD Atrus/DEF/VEN/VE/(=A=)(=SA=)(=JCPA=)(=SCPA=)[SRC][VC:Ebony] CM/DJK LoneWolf/Sith/Eagle Sect/VEDJ Army character: Ares "Strong men don't give hope, or weaken at the knees at the sign of impossiblity; rather they stand up to face it and dominate that obstical."
