JMac eased back a little as the ship went into hyperspace.  They were out of Coruscant.  It was a close call, but they were out and the data was safely in the VE computers by now.  The only thing that was bugging him was the loss of their ship.  Not only was it a major financial hit, but he didn't even want to think about all of the information that New Republic Inteligence could pull out of it..  Still, nothing that they could do about it now.  The door to the small passenger's room that the Agis pilots were in suddenly slammed shut with a muffled thump. "What the...", JMac yelled, standing up.  A quiet hissing sound brought JMac to the revelation about exactly what was going on.  "That Hutt slime is trying to gas us!", Liquid angrily shouted.  The agas slowly filled the room, making them all suddenly very tired and sleepy.  With a great effort of will JMac focused his rage at being tricked in order to stay concious.  The world snapped back into focus, letting JMac attend to the situation.  To his left, Liquid  nodded at him, confirming that he was also good to go.  Rouge staggered in place, blinked, and crashed into the floor.  Liquid started to pull out a knife, then put it back as he realized that they needed the man alive.  He moved to one side of the door, allowing JMac to step up to the other side.  A few short STUs later, the gas was ejected and the door snapped open.    The man slowly stepped inside, holding his blaster in front of him.  As he saw only one pilot unconcious on the floor, he tried to jump back, but he was just a split second too slow.  Liquid slammed his elbow into the man's  nose.  The sound of the break shattered the false stillness of the room.  The hurt spacer reeled back, bringing his blaster up as he went.  Jmac had to admit, he was good.  His first shot burned into Liquid as he lunged forward, sending him to the deck plating.  His next shot slammed into JMac, but he was ready.  The Corellian absorbed the crimson beam and used it to replenish his twindling energy reserves.  A quick gesture sent the man’s blaster flying through the air into JMac’s outstretched hand.  The man’s shocked expression was replaced by blankness as a stunbolt slammed into his chest. Liquid gave the man a push and sent him into the wall.  Across the Atrus’s main starfighter hanger bay, Sk8 saw them arrive and started over. “One prisoner ready for interrogating from intelligence,”  JMac said with a grin.  “Seems Black Sun wanted a bit of revenge.” “Nice work getting back here,” Sk8 began.  “But don’t get too comfortable back here.  We are going back out really soon, cause things are beginning to happen…”

Two days later, Rogue wasn't in a happy mood. He was downright mad infact. Mad because he had been forced to leave his Hammerhead in storage at the spaceport on Coruscant. He hadn't plan to leave it there but had been forced to do so on his first mission with Aegis squadron. Some how several members of the squadron had been discovered by New Republic authorites, so they had to flee the planet in a hurry. Well, Rogue had to meet up with Jmac and Liquid since they were the last Aegis members on Coruscant. The three of them were forced to escape together by hiring afreighter captain to fly them off planet, since Jmac and Liquid's ships had been impounded by the NR's and Rogue was a single seat fighter. The three made it off of Coruscant and back to safety in the VE, barely, but Rogue still wanted this custom fighter back. He was glad he paid extra to have it put it a hangar for long term storage. It should be fine til he made arrangements to get back to Coruscant and retrieve it. Since he had made up his mind to go get his figher back, he began listing things he would need to get together to acomplish what he wanted to do. First, he needed to get a light or stock frieghter, preferably one of the YT-2400 class or maybe a older yt-1300 to carry the Hammerhead back. Second, he would need a way to make sure he wasnt discovered by the New Republic. The cover he used as an out of work bounty hunter should still be good since he was discovered during the last mission. He hadnt been on planet long enough for that. Third, he might need a little extra help from say some of the Army's special ops troops, like say those called the Wraiths that he had heard about. Or maybe that other unit that it sounded like did mercenary work, the Dread Knights he heard them called. He needed to talk to Art, his old squadron commander since he was buddies with a couple of members of the Wraiths. And Fourth, he needed a way to contact some one in the New Republic, one of the few people he could trust that were apart of it. He still had a few friends on that side. At least, he hoped he did, cause they would be vital if he couldn't get help from the VE Army. He had to cover all the bases, just in case. And the final thing was to file for a ten day leave from the VE. It turned out this was the easiest thing to get of them all. He spent nearly a week trying to get the rest of the things together for this personal mission. He wasn't able to get much help from the VE Army special ops units, they were going on missions of there own, but he did get a few tips on things and a little bit of gear from them. He got all the stuff that he had left from his bounty hunter ID together and had some additions made to it to bring it up to date. As for a ship, he lucked out there. He hadnt managed to get a YT class of freighter like he wanted but he was able to get a hold of a Muurian class transport/freighter. This particular one had been owned by Shino Kaske, a former member of Nazgul Squadron. She had ordered a total of 5 of them but had left the VE before the last two were delivered. So the last two ships were delivered to Nazgul squadron not long after that Nal Hutta mission. Since Nazgul had been decommissioned, the two were in storage on the ISD Nemesis. Rogue's VEN Id and status as one of the final members of Nazgul got him to the ship. His old access codes from when he was Co of Nazgul, allowed him to launch the ship from the Nemesis. He had brought the gear he thought he might need with him in a duffel bag so he headed for the jump toward Coruscant. It was a bit bigger of a ship than he was us to, and it was designed for a crew of three but he and his R2 unit were managing. He had decided not to bring his newer R7 unit since it would be harder to replace if it got damaged or destoryed. He hadn't been able to find a way to contact any of his old friends that had remained in the NR but he was hoping for the best and the need not for their help. The Muurian transport was well armed and semi-fast for a freighter since it was considered to be a transport capable of carrying cargo. This particular one had 2 turbolasers and 3 laser cannons aboard,a pretty decent shield system, and a class one hyperdrive. "Shino only ordered the best," Rogue noted aloud to himself, trying not to bring up those memories as the ship raced through Hyperspace. Rogue arrived in the Coruscant system, coming in on a commercial traffic lane course. He didnt try anything fancy for dealing with planetary traffic control, just playing the part of his bounty hunter character, who wanted to get on with business. His forged departure dates didnt even raise an eyebrow or the fact that he had came in on one ship and left in another last time he was on Coruscant. He cleared the NR customs and managed to get lucky again. He was able to find a space for the Muurian at the same spaceport that the Hammerhead was stored at. He landed the Muurian, paid his fees and went in search of his Hammerhead. He found it in the back of the hangar that he had left it in. Someone had towed it back to the back of that hangar using a motorized wheeled vehicle since the Hammerhead had wheels on its landing gear and not skids. He approached it, lowered the built in ladder, climbed up and deactivated the onboard security features using the keypad in the ladder storage. Unsealing and opening the cockpit, he leaned back out of the way as it moved to the up and open position. Climbing into the open cockpit, he acitviated the fighters computer's for a status check. While waiting for the status check to finish, he heard someone approach the fighter. "hey, what are you doing?" called the person. Rogue looked down and a male Human dressed like a mechanic was standing there. "Hey, how did you get that open? I couldnt get it to open no matter what I tried," called the mechanic. Rogue left the computer running its electronic checks and climbed down from the fighter. "I got it open because it's my fighter." Rogue told the mechanic. The mechanic looked at him closely, then noded. "I recognize you now, you were the one that flew that ship in here. sorry about moving it, we had to get it out of the way of another ship. I moved it personally since I run this hangar and I did it as carefully as I could so none of the security devices would go off." "how did you get past the brakes being set," Rogue asked quickly. "They werent set sir," the mechanic replied. Rogue the remember that in the hammerhead, you only had to set the brakes to stay still while the engines were running. A control lock out kept the ship from being used, but it could be towed around. This was something he would have to have fixed upon returning to the VE. Turning to the Mechanic, "since you towed it back here, I want you to tow it somewhere else. I have a Muurian transport in bay 17. I need this fighter moved over there so it can be loaded into that ships cargo bay." "Yes sir, that can be done right away sir, jsut let me get my tow cart." The mechanic walked off over toward the otherside of the hanger. He was back in less than five minutes with a eduim sized wheeled cart that had a hook on the back for attaching to ships front landing gear. He hooked it to the Hammerhead without comment. "already to go sir, whenever you are ready" he said then. Rogue told him to go head as soon as I get into the cockpit. Then Rogue climbed back up to the cockpit and seated himself. He felt the fighter slip into movement as he checked the results of the computer's self diagnostic tests. Everything came back in the green. It even had fuel in the tanks, he had forgotten that he had it topped off after landing last time. They reached Bay 17 without any incidents. Rogue went aboard his Muurian and opened the cargo bay doors as the mechanic pushed the Hammerhead into place below the opening doors. Loading the Hammerhead proved to be a bit tricky but it got done through the efforts of Rogue, his R2 and the mechanic. After getting the Hammerhead loaded aboard, Rogue secured the Muurian and went to talk to the mechanic who had hung around. "hey, i got a question for you" Rogue called to the mechanic. "sure go head," he repiled. Rogue pulled a data pad from his pocket and showed it to the mechanic. "have you seen a ship that match this description?" Rogue asked. The mechanic made a sharp nose as he sucked in air through his nose. "those specs match that old ship that was impounded!" he exclaimed then. "where at and by whom?" Rogue asked. the mechanic thought for a second and then studdered, "In the set of hangars across the port. The ones with the all the New Republic security around it. They impounded it in there and took over the whole set of bays around them. They are taking it apart, piece by piece. who does that ship belong to, mister? cause the security guys act kinda wierd, like they are trying to hide something, when anyone asks about them." the mechanic said to Rogue. "It belonged to some associates of mine,"  Rogue repiled, "and they would greatly appreciate it if I destroyed it before the NR took analyzed it computers. "Can you think of a way to get me into that Hangar?" Rogue asked the mechanic quickly. Before he could answer, Rogue continued. "I need to get in there and destroy that ship right away, and I need you to help me do it." While talking Rogue slipped his hand down to rest on his blaster pistol's butt. "ok, mister, I help you, for a price that is." I need some compensation other than the fact that I dont like those pushy jerks over there." the mechanic repiled to Rogue's question and statement. Rogue reached into a flight suit pocket and pulled out several large sum NR credit chits. It was money left over from the intel mission. "will this do?" Rogue asked as he showed the money to the man. "Oh yeah, that will do nicely." the man repiled. "Good, now lets get going."Rogue ordered. The mechanic lead Rogue to a locker, opened it, pulled out a mechanic's suit and handed it to Rogue. "Put this on, and we can pretend to be going to fix something in the bay behind that one." Rogue slipped the mechanic's jumpsuit over his flight suit and had the mechanic board the muurian and wait under the guard of his R2 unit, while Rogue retrieved some explosives and other weapons from his stash. Then the two headed off toward the NR controlled hangar bay, riding on the tow cart unit. The mechanic, Tyaz, bluffed his way past the first two sets of guards by pretending to be going to pull a ship out of the bay behind the bay under the NR's control. The third set of guards took a little more convincing but they made it to the bay they were supposed to be going to. Stashing the cart in that bay, they slipped out through the back entrance which was directly across from the back entrance to the impounded bay across a access tunnel running the length of the hangar bay set. Rogue told Tyaz to wait here for him and slipped across by himself. Rogue quietly and quickly snuck as close as he could to the old frieghter of Jmac and Liquids. The boarding ramp was down on the freighter so Rogue slipped aboard and headed for the engine access. He heard several NR intel types at work in the cockpit, working on trying to access the computer. Fat chance of that when I get done, Rogue thought to himself. Finding the engine room empty, Rogue planted several thermal detenators in places where they would do the most damage but not be found quickly. He returned to the top of the ramp and slipped out of the ship. He even made it out of the hangar without being noticed. "what lazy incompetent guards," Rogue thought to himself as he and tyaz got on the cart and headed out of the bay they were in. They headed away from the NR guards this time as fast as they could and not attract attention. Rogue thought they had made it away clean til they got back to bay 17 where his ship waited. A group of four NR security troopers and one officer stood there. Rogue had ditched the mechanic's coveralls in another bay on the way back so he was wearing his flightsuit now. He had commed his R2 and the Muurian was ready for take off with the engines warm and the guns ready to go. Tyaz stopped away from the troopers but near Rogue's ship and Rogue got off the cart. Rogue handed Tyaz what looked like a couple of small credits chips to tip him for the ride. But in reality he gave him the money he said he would. Tyaz then left the docking bay as fast as his cart would go. As Rogue approached the Muurian's boarding ramp, the NR officer approached him. "hey, I want to speak to you sir" said the NR. Rogue ignored him and continued to his ship. "hey, i said I wanted to speak to you" said the NR officer. This time he reached to grab Rogue's shoulder but Rogue beat him to it. Rogue turned into the officer and let a viscious punch fly to the officer's face while his other hand slipped from his pocket and let the frag grenade he had been holding in his pocket, fly toward the four troopers. The troopers were startled when their officer was hit but didnt react fast enough as the grenade went off. Rogue kicked the fallen officer in the head twice and tossed another frag grenade at the troopers as he ran up the ramp of the muurian. His R2 droid activated the repulsorlifts and moved the ship out of the hangar bay as soon as he hit the ramp close button at the top of the ramp. By the time he reached the cockpit and strapped in, the ship was ready for take off. Rogue pulled out the remote detonator for the charges he had laid in the impounded freightor. He lifted the muurian transport off and put it in a hard climb for alitude. Then he detonated the explosives. The hangar that contained Jmac's and liquid's old freighter went up in a massive explosions as the thermal detonators blew the old ship's engines and reactor core. Meanwhile Rogue was using all his piloting skills to dodge traffic in the coruscant outboard lane. He almost didnt make it past the second planetary shield but barely slipped through, skimming the hull of a larger luxury liner to do so. Rogue headed for his hyper point as fast as the ship would go. Then he noticed he had a tail. A flight of NR X-wings were coming after him. His Muurian was jsut slower than an X-wing in flat out speed. He hoped he had enough of a lead to prevent the X-wings from over taking him when he noticed a pair of E-wings coming in on an adverse angle. The E-wings were trying to cut him off so the X's could catch him. Rogue began evasive maneuvers while continuing to head for the hyper point. he had his modified R2, Rebel, open fire at the nearest fighters with the Muurian's turbolasers. Rebel managed to nick one of the oncoming e-wings jsut enough to make it alter course. Rogue took advantage of this and went head to head with the other oncoming E-wing. Rogue opened fire at maxiumum range with the ships 3 lasers as did Rebel with the Turbolasers. The NR E-wing as opened fire. The two ships played chicken but the E-wing pilot gave in first as one of his lasers went dead and his shields began giving. He broke hard to avoid Rogue's oncoming frieghter and Rebel nailed him in the engines with a turbolaser shot. Rogue's ship then reached the hyperpoint he needed and Rogue threw the hyper drive levers and the Muurian transport jumped into hyperspace and safety. Several days later, Rogue docked the Muurian transport aboard the Atrus and reported in from the leave he had taken to under take the mission he had just pulled off. He had wanted his custom fighter back and he had gotten it. Along with destroying any information the NR might have gotten out of Jmac's and Liquid's captive freighter. His commanders were actually glad at that piece of information when he delievered it

The annoying rattling sound that LoneWolf got aquanted to worsened after the hyperspace jump and this time almost became unbearable. after loosing a great portion of a wing off his star viper several small structual damages appeared, and several system promblems with it too. the Star Viper shook violently after the jump and LoneWolf became more glad he hired an old bulk to carry him within a few hyperspace minutes of the Artrus. LoneWolf managed to secure his space helmet fearing the ship would fall apart after it re-entered normal space. "there 10 seconds!" the clock took forever to count down, "Comon!" it finally marked zero and the rag-taged starviper twirled out of hyperspace violently. Alarms broke out as LW realized he couldnt stop the twirling towards the SSD. "Artrus this is Aegis 5 i need assistance immidiatly my craft is on a collision course with you please assist!" only static came back and LoneWolf began to handle the ejection handle. his O2 tank wouldn't last him too long out there and his old space suit wasn't exactly in peek performance. 2 clicks away the computer screen counted down and LoneWolf pulled the ejection lever... nothing happened. too tense to curse LoenWolf quickly looked around for answers. distance was in the decimals now. LW pulled out his lightsaber and ignited it slicing the transparasteel infront of him, too slow. LoneWolf began to try and hold the ship with the force now, his speed began to slow bu tnot quick enough. people began running away from teh windows infront of him. his ship came to a slower hault then the Tractor Beams locked onto him releaving him of his strain of holding himself back. he curioulsy checked the computer and saw himself at 0.03 clicks away from the great ship. "that was too close, if it werent for those tractor beams i would of tapped the side of the ship, and possibly keep bouncing of the side." After going to the refreasher LW was back out and on duty. He went over to the aegis Office where a breifing was about to happen. SK8guy was sitting hear the podium waiting for his XO. LoneWolf rushed in with the last of the Aegis members then took a seat next to his firend. "accounted for and present sir." SK8 nodded then walked up to the podium, "It seems that though our last mission was successful the rebels have managed to gain a upper hand as well. thier massive fleet has been reported in the Artrus's past locations stops for the last week. they have continued to fallow us a fight will have to happen and though we have supierior ships they outnumber us greatly. as we speak though were begining to set up a counter assault in an effort to be prepared we'll be meeting some more ships in a remote asteroid field. and begin setting up mines. Aegis is on standby until then so get some sim time with rebels ships and fix up the craft you wanna use this mission. This will not be a walk in the park like before."

"You're all dismissed. Get some R&R, you've earned it." I said as the Aegis pilots began to file out of the room. The last mission to Coruscant had been a stressful mission. Everyone was glad it was over and happy to be home. Now they needed to relax and get prepared for the next mission at the same time. I followed my XO, Lonewolf out of the room. He headed for the sims and I decided to follow him and fly his wing. We talked the entire way and ached for some more flying time. Flying was by far the greatest thing in the Galaxy. We both agreed. We arrived at the sims and prepared them for our training. Lonewolf set the mission, Aegis against Viper as a warmup. We know our Elite status was coming up for grabs and we had to defend it; plus what better way to vent strees than destro some Vipers. It would be a very fun mission. As I entered my sim, Lonewolf set the difficulty level to the highest. "That should liven the party up." he said as he climbed in. We both grinned and the simulator started us on our training. The Viper squadron TIE Interceptors raced toward us, in perfect formation. I could tell this would be a challenge as I commed over to Lonewolf, "Thanks buddy, this is going to be extremely difficult. You head for the left, I'll go up the middle. Try and come around behind them." I got an acknowledgement and I could see on the sim's sensors that Lonewolf complied. The computer pilots of two flight followed with simulated percision. I pushed my advanced to the max, racing toward the formation with breakneck speed. My finger hovered over the trigger, waiting to squeeze off some laser blasts. The Vipers fired first, totally ignoring Lonewolf's flight and heading straight for my flight. Three flight was slightly behind mine, using missles to fire from a distance. The onslaught from the lasers was incredible, I barely avoided the laser fire. My computer wingmate took some hits and exploded beside me. I wasn't worried, the computer was bound to die anyway. In reaction to that however, I raked the enemy with laser fire, not waiting for locks. I firing blindly into the line of interceptors coming towards me. A couple hits scored several fighters. Lonewolf was now behind the Vipers and began to open fire. A couple of the tail end Vipers bit the dust, but the computer quickly compensated for the tactic and swung around to engage two flight. Now I was flying through the Viper formation and was behind them. Three flight fired a barrage of missles, most were shot down, but two scored hits on some obviously far inferior pilots. I swung my fighter around to engage the Vipers one on one. I came head-to-head with a pair of interceptors. I switched to missles and got a lock from two clicks out. I fired off a series of missles, expecting those to be harmlessly shot down. They were meant to be diversions. I flicked my weapons back to guns and aimed at the tail of the pair. I got a green sight and fired, just as the first missle was shot down by the TIEs. My laser shot scored and sent the interceptor spinning uncontrollably into the darkness of space. The second TIE fired wildly at my agile ship. I easily manuevered and juked to avoid any major damage. Little did I know I was being led by the enemy and an interceptor sneaked onto my tail. before I could react my ship was filled with alarms and bright lights. The simulator ended and opened the canopy to the outside. Lonewolf was there, smiling as broadly as he could. "I think we should have warmed up first. Nice to see you lasted longer than me." was all he said. He then turned tot he door and walked out. I jumped out of the sim and raced down the hall to catch up with him' I saw his shadow and yelled after it, "Where you going?" He stopped and allowed me to join him at his side. ----------------------- ESCM/2LT Michael "sk8guy" Rose/Aegis 1/mSSD Artus/DEF/VEN/VE      (=A=)(=MA=)(=JCPA=)(=SCPA=)(=UCPA=)[-BRC-][-VC|E-] TRN/ADT sk8guy/VEDJ/m/SSD Atrus      "Unleash the power of the Dragon!" - Michael "sk8guy" Rose

Liquid plopped into his bunk, it was good to be back. He glanced back at the door and saw that his new items from the IMP Center had arrived. "SV337" he thought, as he opened the boxes and peered inside. It was just what he had ordered, all types of melee weapons, and a few new droids for the days ahead, he knew that most of the labor and defense droids would be going over to his DJO bunk, and he commed up the Star Destroyer Express, and put the droids back into the boxes, he knew that he would have no use for them in the Navy. He quickly turned around and sensed JMac coming out of the refresher that the two shared in their bunk, it was Liquid's turn now. Liquid quickly jumped in, jumped out, and was ready for some lounge time. As he and JMac walked down the hall, JMac started talking about trying to beat Liquid in pool again. Liquid snickered to himself as the packages sped off towards Lopen.

JMac laughed as his buddy egged him on as they strolled down to the lounge.  They agreed on many things, but one thing that they had never agreed on was who was the better pool player. "How bout we make this interesting.  The loser has to walk around the lounge wearing nothing but an adult diaper and saying "oh what a pretty girl I am." Liquid cracked up, then said "you're on". "You're funeral." Up ahead, the bright lights and loud noises of the lounge announced that they were near.  Still laughing, they walked in. JMac signaled to a serving droid on his way to the pool tables.  The droid walked up carrying his usual order, a large glass of Corellian Ale, then shuffled away. "Rack it," JMac sauid through a predatory grin.   ----------------------- EFM/W02 JMac/Aegis 3-4/Aegis 12/(=A=)(=SA=)(MC1) Not only am I perfect, I'm Irish too. Viva la Toga!!! Aegis 4Ever!!!

Liquid smiled as his buddy said "warm up first." Liquid replied, "Yeah, neither of us have played for a while, so let's get back into the game. first off rules: 1. you must call the 8 ball shot, that's the only rule." "Ok," JMac said, chalking up his stick. "let's go," Liquid said, as JMac cracked the first rack. Liquid made a nice run, and finished the practice game easily. then it was onto the bigger fish. Liquid watched JMac carefully as he racked the balls, Liquid broke, and JMac gave him a nice run for his money. JMac made one fatal mistake though, on calling the pocket, he chose the wrong one, and his face was contorted as he watched the 8 ball go into the bottom right corner of the pool table. "DAMMIT!" JMac shouted, as Liquid handed him the adult diaper from Riel's office. "You know what you have to do now." Liquid said, escorting his friend to the men's room.

JMac stripped out of his normal black jumpsuit and grudgingly put on the diaper.    He looked at himself in the 'fresher's mirror, grimaced, then stepped out.  Liquid immediately cracked up. "Yeah, yeah, go ahead and laugh," JMac muttered.  "I make this look so good that pretty soon everyone will be wearing one.  Just watch, soon it will be as big a thing as those annoying tickle-me Hoojibs. " "Sure you will, sure you will.  Let's go man, to the lounge." "I'm moving, I'm moving," JMac sent back to his friend as he started towards the lounge, plotting all the way how he could get back at his friend.  A simple trick like the droid with the pie wouldn't do, no, he needed something more. As Jmac stepped into the lounge, conversation stopped.  It was amazingly fast, almost as if they were all waiting for him to step in.  JMac glanced over at Liquid, and his friend's answering smile gave him everything he needed to know. A few snickers started in back, then gradually grew.  Mentally JMac steeled himself, then began saying his lines. "Oh what a pretty girl I am, oh what a pretty girl I am." His face was kept carefully neutral as he walked around, though inside he was rueing the bet that he had made.

the welding laser finished securing the panel on LoneWolf's new Tie Phantom. He was lucky enough to have his friend give him a few extra IC's to get the fighter before too many ppl bought it. to his knowledge he was the first to get it. the thrilling excitment rushed through his mind of flying around in battle in the highly menuverable machine. "There we go! done with the transponder implant. now maybe i can go on a test drive around the artrus through the asteroid field. " his question lay stale in the air but was magically answered by the emergency sirens. LoneWolf cursed then made up for it with a comment, "Man sometimes i even scare myself." "All fighters launch immidiatly! enemies detected on farthest proximities. Repeat all fighters launch immidiatly! This is not a drill!" LoneWolf couldn't help but grin from his wild dreams coming close to true. He rushed over to the open loading lift and waited as it lifted up into the spacious fighter cockpit. LoneWolf kept his flightsuit inside and quickly put it on. then he jumped into his custom ordered seat for the fighter. instead of the two pilot terminals being set apart and more like office seats, he ordered a replacement where the seats lined up in the middle and one station was behind the other. LoneWolf sat in the front one closest to the viewport. With little hesitation or second thought he activated the launch sequence then commed the control room for flight clearance. the transponder was switched over to read as Aegis 5. it took only a few moments to clear the polished flight deck. LoneWolf was even lucky enough to be the first pilot out. he flew ontop of the SSD then parked infront of the command deck. a massive fleet was coming from the direction of the nearest star. a clever tatic so it would be harder to hit head on. however it was the more clustered part with mines. lonewolf waited for his squad mates and said to his approaching enemy, "Rebel scum meet my new tie fighter, you may call it your passage to the next life." he went through all his backup systems and every thing else so he could be more than ready for a fatefull dance.

The call came through just as JMac had changed out of his diaper.  "All fighters launch immidiatly! enemies detected on farthest proximities. Repeat all fighters launch immidiatly! This is not a drill!" JMac grinned as he began sprinting from his quarters to the hanger bay.  Much fun as ground work was, he had been itching to get back into his cockpit.  The sheer freedom of space was exhilerating, and he had been like a junkie without his fix for some time now. JMac nodded at his mechanic and climbed into the cockpit of his TIE Advanced.  A quick systems check showed him that all systems were live and ready to go.  "Liquid, you good to go?" "Yes boss, let's wipe the galaxy clean of a few more rebel scumbags." "All right, follow my lead, then form up on me when you're out," JMac commed.  "I don't know why, but I have a feeling that this is going to be ugly." JMac eased his throttle forward as he left the hanger bay, then turned and kicked his throttle forward towards the battle.  A quick glance at his sensors made his heart sink.  There were at least two Mon Calamari cruisers, accompanied by a veritable horde of starfighter, and smaller capital ships.  It appeared the the Rebels weren't messing around this time. "Sithspawn," JMac muttered under his breath.  "I don't know how we're going to get out of this one."

"Aegis one standing by! alright Aegis Form into attack positions!" "Roger Boss!" LoneWolf shouted back letting the excitment get to him. "Flight to form on my wings! Aegis leader, whats our orders!?" "We'll let the tie droids and mines do the first assault right now well keep on the defense of the Artrus." Sk8guy took a sigh then continued, "Seems like thier using A-wings for the assault.... odd." LoneWolf looked at the A-Wing squad rush at the massive ship at high speeds. "Guess they think they can rush passes along the ship to the shield generator. Shall we teach the the Imperial Tango?" several snickers from the pilots answered as Aegis pursued from behind as the rebels ran across the long hull of the Artrus. the Tie Advanced matched and beat the rebels in speed as turbolasers haulted the A's. LoneWolf's Tie Phantom was faster than the Tie advanced his comrades were using, yet he didn't want to rush ahead of them. Aegis squadron got in firing range and fired a few well aimed shots. first Flight one picked off a few then pulled up, then flight two picked off even more of the rebels, and copied the menuver, with flight three finishing the job. "good job Aegis! lets keep them away from the ship this time... we got three squads of A's coming this time. lets stick together and knock them off one at a time." everyone agreed then fallowed aegis leader to the closest squad.

Liquid sighed as he saw the A-wings coming in....they were obviously untrained little boys, and Liquid could sense the fear radiating from their very being. Liquid enjoyed this very much, and aimed for the one in the middle. "Fire at will" JMac said, breaking formation from his flight, and going after 2 of the little ones. "Yessir," Liquid said, opening up on one of the fearful boys. Liquid knew that this could be won easily if he opened up to the Dark Side, and let the Force flow throughout him. Liquid did just that, and let the anger consume him, he fed off the fear of the young pilots, he could tell that this had been their first mission outside of the sims, and he used their inexperience against them. Liquid reopened his eyes as the fighter he was chasing exploded. "Hey, it worked," Liquid muttered to himself, going back into the trance he was in.
