Due to connection troubles the last two days this is delayed and will be posted in full tomorrow night
in order to prepare for the ESC we are going to run a series of increasingly difficult missions in order to practice for the ESC and teach any of u who dont know about run ons how they work.
Sorry again bout the lateness
u will all have a mission map in ure boxes for the mission by tomorrow

(OOC: Ok long time coming but its here, i have made modifications to Kaph's first mission for the ESC, here we can kinda make ideas and stuff for the realy scenario, you have until July 31st to complete this, after that it shuts down and the real one begins.)
Art and Corran walked out of Corran's new office on board ISD II Nemesis. As they rounded the corner to the training center they noticed Kaph squadron standing at attention waiting for them.
"Wow, impressive" Art mentionned to Corran as they walked in and saluted the squad. "Be seated men." Arturus said as he and Corran walked to the briefing map.
"Now first off men I would like to talk to you about that greeting you just gave us. I was impressed, but dont you ever do it again. This is a relaxed squad here men and we fight together, not just snap to attention, salute, and inspect each other. That formality is just so the bigwig Admiral have something to actually do." Corran said as he turned towards the briefing map. "Today men we are going to work on a basic simulation in order to start advanced training for you pilots. Art will explain the mission and your goals."
Arturus stepped up to the map and uplinked his datapad. The info quickly transferred and the map came to life showing a small planet with a fleet of Galleons and a pair of Escort Frigates. There was also a group of 3 strange looking ships that were in orbit above the planet which looked almost deserted.
"Ok men, this is the planet of Argyle, reports say that a large pirate base is located on what is seemingly an uninhabitable planet. We desperately need to capture as many of their officers and equipment as possible in order to analyze them better and remove the large growing threat to trade security." Arturus glanced out at the men and paused waiting for comments. "Now then, we are landing several AT-AT walkers in order to destroy the large number of ground forces on the planet and to seize the base. The enemy has several groups of very agile atmospheric fighters who are sure to be a threat to the walkers if they get close enough."
"Kaph squadron will transfer to these 3 orbiting ships here and get into the Empire's version of atmopheric fighters, the Blade-32 from Adumar. There you will launch into the atmosphere and defend the AT-ATs to the best of oyur ability. The army force MUST succeed. It is up to you men, good luck." Arturus finished and stepped down from the briefing map after unhooking his personal datapad.
"Alright men, the simulators have been modified to resemble the Blade-32s, get on and get ready for me to activate the mission. When you acquire our AT-ATs, split into pairs and engage as the pirate fighters come at you. Remember, you have no shields and they outperform you, good luck men." Corran stated as he and Arturus walked to the simluator computer and began to transfer the data in.
The men boarded their simulators and prepared for the mission to start.

Emon walked into his flight simulator, and looked at the blinking controls, pondering how this was nothing like the TIE's that he was used to piloting, but he would soon adjust to them, once he got the feel for it. The Senior Crewman started his simulator, along with the rest of Kaph squadron and then saw the snowy terrain.
"This is Otto Denthor," identified the Warrant Officer, "Flight 2 report in."
"Kaph 2-2 reporting in," said Jaded.
"Kaph 2-3 reporting in," said Emon.
"Kaph 2-4 reporting in," said Rafe.
"Look, there's the AT AT's. Assume formation," said Corran.
Emon moved into standard escort formation, and almost directly after they formed, the pirate fighters appeare from the east.
"Break in your groups of your flight now!" said Corran once he caught sight of the snow speeders.
"Flight 2, get in group. Everyone use the same target, to help increase chances of survival. If you are hit hard, undergo evasive action," instructed Denthor. |

Arturus flew in close formation with Corran as they rapidly closed the gap between themselves and the on coming fighters.
"Alright 1 flight, prepare to spread into pairs on my mark and engage." Corran said over the flight frequency as they advanced into range of the enemy's guns. "Now!" Corran ordered as he and Arturus broke off hard to the right to engage a pair of diving fighters.
The second pair of fighters dove low to engage 2 fighters advancing for the AT-AT's.
"Stay close Art." Corran said over their private frequency as they closed the distance to the first 2 fighters. Corran accelerated and made a strafing run before diving to the ground. Arturus raced behind him and fired his shots into the cockpit of the first fighter sending it down in flames.
The second fighter broke left and as Corran looped around he noticed smoke trailing out of the left side of the fighter. Arturus slowed down and turned to form up with Corran.
"Lets just let him go, he wont do any damage." Art said as he turned hard to the right and raced towards the enemy lines. Another group of 4 fighters raced passed the bunkers and raced towards the two Blade-32s.
"When we close to 1.5 break hard and try to take on two at a a time, that will minimize damage." Corran said. He counted ot 5 and broke fast ot the left. Two fighters turned to engage while Arturus broke to the right and fired at the oncoming fighters.
The first fighter exploded in mid-air causing severe wing damage to his wingman who started to smoke and dive to the Earth. Arturus dove down on him and fired a few shots into the rear gunners spot before pulling up and heading for Corran.
As he approached, two fighters exploded sending a third flying through the debris towards Arturus.
"Nice one Corran." Arturus said as they formed up and turned to see how the rest of the squad was doing.
Suddenly, Arturus felt his fighter rock and saw several shots fire past his fighter. They were much larger than the cannons from the fighters they had engaged. A shrill wailing came on in his fighter and the missile lock light engaged.
"Dammit, incoming ground fire Corran, Ive already been, I can maneuver ok but I am down to 85% speed." Arturus said as he raced towards the ground. Beside him, Corran dove as well before pulling up and right sharply and turned ot face the oncoming fire. The two missiles on Corran both slammed into the ground as they attempted to complete the almost physically impossible move that Corran had pulled.
Arturus spun 360 degrees and pulled up sharply and continued to spin until he was facing the oncoming fire as well. He spun his fighter rightside up and began maneuvering to avoid the cannon fire. The missiles that had targeted him exploded below him rocking his fighter more. -----------------------

Emon, Denthor, Jaded, and Rafe were having a time with there mission. They could get one speeder, but when two or three came at them, they would evade quickly and it was becoming a bit hard, because they were now seperated, and Emon had two speeders on his tail.
"I NEED COVER!"yelled Emon
"I cant see you"said Ragfe
"Im over the ridge to the west"said Emon
"Jaded and I are on are way.... HEY,THERE HE IS!"cried Rafe
Emon was begining to run out of moves to get away from the speeders, when one of them burst into flames. He instantaly knew that his flight members where there to back him up, and that he was going to be ok.
"Thanks guys!"said Emon
"Flight 2 report."said Denthor
"Emon reporting in"
"Jaded reporting in"
"Rafe reporting in"
"Get back into attack formation. I've sighted two speeders to the north. Let's go." said Denthor

Art felt another explosion to the right side of his fighter as he fought to maintain control of the damaged craft. Corran began to pull ahead of him as they raced towards the enemy lines and a new formation of enemy fighters.
"Corran I cant keep up, this damned thing is taking a beating." Art said as he swerved to avoid oncoming cannon fire.
"Just hang in there, we are almost at the missile battery, we can destroy that on our way to attack the next group." Corran replied as he dived sharply and began to evade the missile radar systems as they raced towards the installation.
Arturus tried to dive low and evade as they approached but his fighter began to lock on him. Suddenly a shrill beeping filled his cockpit as he wrenched the controls to maneuver. The missile radar light kept flashing and became full. Art could see two flares racing towards him.
He pulled hard on the controls and finally managed to dive his fighter and spin up in a split S in order to avoid the oncoming missiles. He glanced out the side and noticed that the missiles had followed him this time.
"Dammit." He swore as he tried to outmaneuvre the missiles.
"Corran I need help here, I cant lose these two." Art begged as he rose sharply and spun away from the missiles.
The two missiles followed the move perfectly and closed in on Art's tail. Art tried one last desperate attempt to shake the oncoming doom facing him. He reached for his ejection seat and accelerated to full speed. A loud firey explosion filled Art's eyes and ears and he saw no more.
His fighter continued to accelerate and dive towards the ground.
