===Ok people here it is, enjoy, and actually post please=== Art stormed into Rogue's office onboard the ISD II Nemesis where Nazgul was now stationed.  He was in his typical smuggler style clothing with a hip blaster belt, Rogue couldnt recall the last time Art was actually in his uniform. "Rogue, we need to talk about our last mission and the future of this squad." "Um, ok, what did you have in mind?  I thought our mission to Nar Shadda during the campaign against the pirates went great." "Only cause I was there to help."  Art replied.  After the Nar Shadda mission his arrogance and hot shot nature had come back in storm to him.  "Without me you would have gotten no where, I sacrificed a lot for this squad, including the life of my brother and the XO on his ship.  Now lets talk how we can prevent crap like that having to happen.  We need to revamp Nazgul." "What do you have in mind?" "Vigorous combat training to start in 10minutes.  I have downloaded three missions into the simulators and the birds are hot." "Very well I will get Nazgul together and in the training room.  Anything else?" "Only that this squad has sucked for too long." "Thanks for your personal imput but constructive imput would be helpful." "Ok, this squad REALLY sucks.  Anyway im off to my sim.  See you there.  MAybe the squad may actually show."  Art said hot headedly as he stormed out of the office and slammed the door. ===25 Minutes Later=== The rest of Nazgul squad drags into the simulator room.  Art watches impatiently as they move to their fighters. "Where the hell were you guys?" "Sleeping fool, its 05:00." replied Andhaz "I need sleep you grunt."  Stated Shino as she sat down beside her cockpit. "Ok sorry, this mission will only take 20 minutes." "Hurray, then back to my nice beauty nap."  Replied Shino as she boarded her simulator. ===someone start the mission, if not ill start it later===

(OOC: I have permission from the HC to participate in this story in an official role. Bear (hehe) with me.) "Alright boys and girls - listen up, and listen good" Bear growled, marching into the room with a clipboard, "You lot have the worse shooting record in the Navy, have destroyed 3 TIE Fighters in the last month, and between you you have been killed on average 3 times in each simulation mission." Arturus gulped, and stood up straight bravely, staring into Bears eyes. "Its pathetic people, just pathetic. I'm ashamed. I've seen newbies with no arms fly better than you lot!" Bear screamed at the members of the room. Arturus grinned at the joke. "Maybe we should cut off our arms?" he asked sarcastically. "It would probably be more useful," Bear growled again, "But not my job. My job is to turn you lot back into a fighting fit unit again. A proper Squadron." "Yes sir." someone mumbled in the room. Bear frowned and continued his speech. "I am going to drag you through one week of training. The three S's. Simulation, Communication, and Combat." Rogue frowned and opened his mouth. "DID YOU HAVE SOMETHING TO SAY?!" Bear screamed in his face. "No." Rogue replied. "No SIR." "No, SIR!" Rogue shouted angrily. "I can tell you hate me, Mr Rogue. Fine. I'm not here to make friends. I'm here to train you back to your best standards. Got it?" "Yes, SIR!" Rogue replied slightly more happily. "Good. Now.. Initiative." "Is that one of the three S's?" Arturus asked cautiously. "If I want you opinion, Mr Arturus, I shall ask. Now, Initiative." Arturus gulped again. "Since you are enjoying yourself so much.. brief the Squadron. Tell them their mission, their role, their objectives, time limits and requirements. Assign each person a duty. Then we'll do it, and see how well you briefed us. Agreed?" Bear spoke before he replied. "Good. Now, Mr Arturus.. Or perhaps someone else would like to offer their suggestions?" Bear growled, daring the Nazgulians to give their input. OOC: One week. You have one week to show me that there is at least one brain between the lot of you. Harsh, but true. Mr Arturus, this is your moment: A two hundred word brief, if you please. ASAP. Since I am the Instructor, you will all be graded on a number of points after this week of intensive training. Good luck.   -----------------------         Captain Aaron "Bear" Le'pue, Naval Instructor & VE Today Chief Editor                                                         ~~~    INS/CAP Aaron "Bear" Le'pue/Flight School/Training Fleet/ISD II Crusader/VEN/VE

"Alright men."  Arturus began as the squad members assembled around.  "The mission is this.  ISD II Nemesis will arrive outside the Tralus sector here.  There Nazgul squadron, the only squadron on board, will launch and begin surveilence.  It is rumored that a large New Republic supply fleet is to rendezous somewhere in this area.  You will split into pairs and wait for it to arrive.  When it does, radio it in and rendezous back at the Nemesis so the squadron can reform and make their assault.  The objective is to destroy all of the frieghters and transports carrying equipment essential to the New Republic.  Any questions so far?"  Asked Arturus as he glanced around the room.  not to his surprise, no one asked anything. "What about fighter defenses and orbital defenses?"  Growled Bear in disgust as he saw no one seemed to be interrested. "I was just going to give the tactical overlay Bear." "BEAR?  ITS SIR MR. ARTURUS!"  Yelled Bear. "Yes sir!"  responded Art sacastically as he through a limp salute and recrossed his arms. "I want to see you in my office after the mission, we will discuss your attitude towards your superiors."  Bear stated as he motionned Art to continue. Art shrugged and continued his briefing.  "The planet is under New Republic control so you can expect to be harrassed by X-Wings and perhaps a few Y-Wings.  Orbital defenses include several gun platforms and several ground based missile launchers.  In addition, expect a large assortment of medium-intermidiate class Capital Ships.  Our probes across the galaxy indicate that the convoy is guarded by at least 2 RSDs and several Corvettes.  As well there are 2 Nebula-B Frigates and one Modified Frigate.  These ships are believed to carry a new form of A-wing so you will have to be very careful when you engage." "You expect this to actually be pulled off?"  Asked Bear. "Yes Bear, if the squad begins to consider great difficulty, the Modified Corvette Crystal Edge, 1 squadron of TIE Interceptors, and two heavily modified Imperial shuttles are available as reinforcements.  They are incidentally the ships I captured on the Nar Shadda mission." "Mr. Arturus, shut the hell up about your pathetic achievements and just give the damned briefing."  Growled Bear. "Your voice suits your name Bear.  Anyother questions before I conclude?"  Arturus glanced around again and saw that no one had a question. "Very well, the mission will begin in 5 minutes, your crafts are armed with concussion missiles for more firepower and 1 fuel tank.  I advise you to use your fuel cautiously and keep system use to a minimum.  If necessary, you may be able to dock with the Nemesis to rearm and fuel but if the Nemesis is attacked, dont expect them to risk their necks.  The mission goals in priority terms are as followed. 1.  Seek out and idenfity the New Republic supply convoy 2. Destroy all cargo containing vessels 3.  Ensure the Nemesis survives and is able to leave when 1 and 2 are compelted 4. Destroy all possible defense 5. Ensure that all reinforcement vessels survive The mission begins in 10 minutes, arm your fighters, and good luck."  Art concluded as he took fo his hip blaster belt and left the briefing room.

OOC: You see? Thats how its done Now, orders. This will not be a Nazgul story; it will be a campaign. The differance between a story and a campaign is simple. Campaigns are more detailed. It is my understanding that Rogue, Arturus and Andhaz are active. There is one Flight School trainee who would be ideal for Nazgul, so I'll see about him. You each need orders. I won't expect you to make up the orders. I'll give them, and you carry them out. They are: Rogue: Enemy Intelligence. Get information on these rebel ships - Republic Star Destroyer and Y-Wings | Go to www.vastempire.com/navy and click "Ships Manual". Arturus: Tactical. Draw a relatively simple map of the mission - asteroid/ship/planet locations etc. Andhaz: Friendly Intelligence. Get information on these ships - ISD II Nemesis (Captain, which squadrons are on it etc) | Go to www.vastempire.com/members/roster go to the Navy roster and find out that information. Everyone else: Pilot. Post on the story. For help, email me at [email protected] or just ask on the comnet. I DON'T NEED DETAIL - JUST THE BASICS! COPY AND PASTE IS FINE! Arturus, please email those orders to these members. CC to myself ( [email protected] ). If, for whatever reason, Rogue or andhaz can not carry out these tasks, please give me a reason why not and proof (i.e. If they are on leave show me their comnet post announcing that). I will expect to see that email (just that info, nothing else special) within the next hour (provided you are online, which you are now). It takes priority over continuing the story. Thats it. Keep up the good work.

Latest news.. all this goes in my big report, remember Gravin has been assigned the duty of writing a Nazgul history. A sort of bio for the Squadron. He will also be writing a poem about brotherhood etc which will hopefully inspire you.. and he's going to make a banner. Phew. This will all hopefully be done by Tuesday 8pm (I think) EST. I'll then put together a website (I'll just make the frames bit using a template.. I'll get you guys to find all the graphics, write bio's, write more history etc) which will be a sort of "Hall of Fame" for the Squadron. I want everyones input into this.. whether its a character bio (we'll also probably choose personal ships and find pics of them etc etc.. stay tuned) or just finding graphics. I'll email you about that tonight. Carnor is considering returning. The Squadron should also have Gardoon very soon, and if we can get andhaz awake it would be useful too.. Appears to be shaping up nicely, actually. I've already started writing my report.. I'll also need Flight Leaders and the SC to talk to me about future aims and things. Again, in the email. The story appears to have stopped.. if anyone wants to, feel free to continue. Happy hunting

Rogue had slipped away from the simulators and returned to his office. He went to his desk, activated his computer and quickly composed a letter on the computer. After saving the file in his personal protected files, he sent it on its way and logged off.  Rogue then went and pulled out a duffel bag from the office's closet. Quickly and quietly he filled it with all of his personal things that were in the office. Then he left the office, locked the door and headed to his quarters. He dropped the bag in his quarters then headed back to the simulators. Rogue quietly slipped back into the section where Nazgul had been and found the rest of the squadron, which consisted of Arturus, Gravin, CJ, andhaz, Bear and some flight cadet that Bear had brought along, were still going over all the stuff that had to be covered before they flew this sim flight. Rogue checked his chrono (watch) on his wrist and found that he had been gone for only about ten minutes. Hopefully no one had noticed his was gone for that period of time. Gravin turned to ask Rogue something about the mission, but instead asked Rogue in a low voice, where had he taken off to? Rogue replied "dont worry about it, you'll find out and understand in a couple of days." Gravin nodded and the two of them went back to work. ((this is just a story that gives some background about my resigning as CO, thats all. Hopefully it will also get the story back moving.))

OOC: From now on please refer to Red5 as Gowyn, as it is a more...realistic name. Gowyn walked into the briefing room and slipped over to a console, hoping he had been unnoticed. He hadn't. "Where ya been Gowyn?" asked Gravin. "We thought you were dead or something." Bear muttered that that may have been better. "Uh, I was off somewhere on a recon mission. It was...sucessful, you might say." Rogue spoke up. "He has a good excuse, but you pilots don't need to hear it now. We're on a mission, remember?" The others mumbled their agreement and went back to work. Gowyn stepped over to an empty console and pulled up the specs on the modified A-wings. He breathed a sigh of relief. "Jeez, Rogue. When you sent me the briefings, I thought for sure those were the A-wings I encountered in the Shizzen System." "No, they aren't, and thank the Maker. If we were up against those things, we would be at much greater odds. And it will be hard enough as it is, what with those frigates and the RSD." "Yeah, I don't like the look of any of that," said Gowyn. "By the way, what type of ships will we be flying?"

Gravin walks into the simulator and begins to play with some buttons. "What to do" He says to himself. In a moment after that a voice comes in out of no where. "Hey Gravin, whats up?" Rogue says. "Long time no see Commander" Gravin says. "Im no longer your Commander Gravin" replies Rogue. "oh, i have been on a long leave to relax and figure out what  I want to do" Gravin walks over to the Simulator as he says that. Rogue replies "You were a good Commander, just have to lose the tempor and you would be better." (I'll write some more later)
