As for the current story, if you want to add your little story to the squadron story-telling please do so. Tryk is going to come in soon, but, until he does that, you guys can still post. If your character has already told his or her story, you can also feel free to take control of an NPC. The wiki now has each of them outlined to a certain degree. Feel free to expand on those characters, especially because we want to feel something for them if they happen to get injured or die.

And don't forget to keep your own wikis up to date! Keeping those up helps us when we're looking for certain numbers quickly or if we can't get a hold of you for character reactions.

Merry? And booze? I would say certain narcotics make you more merry... Booze will get you all angry and competitive...

Hey guys, I am really sorry for being off the grid for the past week or so. College had me bogged down, but I finally managed to burn off enough of my homework and study time yesterday to get a post in tonight on the story. Just my luck I had to choose the classes with the highest homework/reading amount in the university.

Anyways, I'm Niklas "Sturmwind" Friedmann. Joined the VEN to escape the haunting memory of the death of Gorld, the merchant who taught him how to fly ships and repair them and became like a second father to him. He respects the chain of command, dislikes incompetence, and isn't afraid to use underhanded tactics in a fight, although he prefers by the book. He earned the nickname Sturmwind from his old job as a mechanic, relating to how quickly he was able to learn the in's and out's of speeders and later starships without any sort of formal education. He loves to drink, and is quick to join in any sort of drinking games or competitions.

Just figured I'd leave a quick introduction.

It figures that on Thursdays when I have the most classes is when the VEN suddenly erupts with life.

Welcome back Sturm! Joa and I were under the impression that you had left, but no worries. You will be placed as Iron Three which is reflected here right now, and I will edit the wiki to properly show your placement.

Also good post! You'll fit in nicely. Like the Germanic influence myself though just be careful about using any sort of cuss words even if they aren't in English. We also have a younger audience present, and it'd be best to keep the language out of the posts and replace it with something else. Other than that one very small thing though, I loved the post and the use of my NPC. Thatcher is a bit of an interesting guy I will admit. >.>

Also Strill, I have to say, while there was a spark of a little bit of activity from a couple of us, it would have been awesome to have seen a lot more. Now Chlovi is starting to come back, and we haven't really budged this week. I know RL comes first, and I respect that since I, myself, have five classes I'm taking. BUT, Joa and I would like to see one post a week from every member. Let's not slack off now. We already have so much to prove as a squadron, and we don't want to fail.

No worry's, ma'am. Just something I gotta get used to. First time writing in this sort of format. I have been writing a story in my spare time will no holds bar in terms of what I'll allow in, save for if it makes the story terrible. I will try to keep the swear words to the odd one or two now and then, avoiding too much usage.

Or even replace it with some of the cheesy SW words. It's not a big deal this time, so don't fret too much. Just something to keep in mind.

Now I'm wishing I had a character of German influence. I love the language (though I can't speak it at all). I used to know basic conjugations of verbs, but that was a couple years ago.

Also that sucks a lot. Hmmm. Maybe we can find a place where we can still all chat with each other. I'm iffy with using Facebook though I know Chlovi uses that. Still, I know not everyone wants strangers to friend them even if they do know each other online.
